Dongara Tourist Park reviews
59 Second time we have been to this park, new managers very friendly and helpful.
Amenities very clean.
Always a pleasure to stay here we will be back.
We found staff very friendly and accommodating not only to us but also other campers. Facilities clean and very tidy They have and plan to make improvements to the park
Modern well appointed 2 bedroom challet by the beach. Definately recommend this place when visiting Dongara and Port Dennison.
We're here for 4 days, before we head home.
Stayed here 5 times previously. Gets a bit windy sometimes, but that's Dongara.
Nice marina down the road, great walks for us & the doggies.
Strategically located close to shops and restaurants, This is a very good tourist park for all travelers with all the basic amenities for all ages. Checking in was super quick and easy. The whole place is very clean. We stayed at 2-bedrooms unit that can sleep 6 people; 2 bunkbeds and 1 queen. Our unit was facing the sea. Equipped with everything we need. It offers free wifi. Highly recommended.
What a lovely place! Very friendly reception on arrival, pristine barbecues in a lovely setting. The whole vibe of this park is relaxed. Spotless ablutions and the sites are generous. Fantastic
We stayed one night with our pup on our way home, nice park. Close to foreshore, clean facilities and a friendly face at reception. Well done and thank-you. Definitely recommend you guys.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, lovely clean & comfortable, great views & very welcoming staff. Shame the weather wasn't the best but we'll come back in the summer. Dongara is a very pretty place.
We were so lucky to have a spot for our caravan just by walking in last minute, thanks to the amazing stuff, very friendly
We just stayed 2 nights here in our newly owned caravan. Fabulous sites- nicely protected, well maintained facilities and private sites and a huge size. This park is on our list to return to. Thanks for a pleasant stay.
This is by far one of the best caravan parks I've ever stayed at! This is the second time I've stayed here, first was in a camper trailer which was perfect and extremely competitive priced while also being a perfect family spot and this time was work and I stayed in one of the self contained apartments up on the hill.oh my god, just brilliant in every way. If you want an all round beautiful stay then please spend the extra and go for the wonderful cabins looking down at the beach. I am staying in cabin 13 and I have an amazing view of both the calming waves and the beautiful town of Denison and Dongara and the cabin itself is extremely clean and provides absolutely everything you need for a wonderful stay, I will most definitely return here for a romantic getaway because this place is absolutely incredible in every way and ticks all the boxes.
Thankyou Dongara Tourist Park for an absolutely revitalising stay that I absolutely needed! Please Don't change a thing with what you are doing.
1st time visiting this park. Loved standing and watching the sunsets over the Indian ocean. Clean cabins, clean park, great bbq area.
Great park, great hosts, clean and quiet. Lovely grassed sites right on the water. Thoroughly recommend this park. Take the time to drop in a stay a while
The location on beachside, very windy but spacious and tidy, still developing. Toilet and shower is neat and tidy, kitchen is very very simple facilities, overall is good, only the key to toilet not too fit.
Camp ground is fantastic. Walk directly to the beach estuary or pub. Outdoor camp kitchen is beautiful. I would like to see perhaps a couple of shade sails over the bouncy pillow though to protect the kids from the harsh sun and the hot plastic.
This place is on the ocean, quiet, walking distance to so many places. Lovely, friendly owners and our 2 bedroom cabin was well laid out and clean, the bed comfortable. The only negative was not being able to open the doors and windows because of the foul rotting seaweed stench. That was the only negative.
Concrete sights available some sights protected from win great amemities some sights far from ablutions jumping pillow WIFI
We had a good position in this park and the site sizes are larger than many parks we've stayed at. The kids have a bouncy pillow to get rid of some energy and free up mum to sit in peace and quiet with a glass of red. The park ablutions are clean and tidy, with the owners about to build additional ablutions to cater for increased traveller numbers and they've added a number of self contained colourful chalets with views over the ocean. Its located near a Marina, beautiful foreshore that provides ample shaded seating and a protected waters edge ideal for young kidliwinks to cool off. On the foreshore strip are a small selection of shops, tavern, eating places etc
Finally.the owners of the park are friendly.
What more does one happy camper need?
Great staff, perfect location, accommodation was spotless and bed comfortable, self contained kitchen really good. Would highly recommend this place
