Dôme Café - Nedlands

The food was very nice as always and staff were nice too. Small venue but a nice atmosphere, very cute outdoor seating.

I’ve been to this dome many times over the past few years and the food is always disappointing, especially given the pricing! The drinks (specifically coffee & smoothies) are good, and as the only coffee place nearby that’s open late it’ll do in a pinch.the staff are usually nice and welcoming but it’s overall not worth the $$$

What you would expect from your average Dome. Great selection, underwhelming execution. Most food is bland. I asked for some chili sauce and was told ketchup is on the self-service table. You'll eat for a good price, and can get any meal of the day. But if you want to have some flavor, you might have to bring your own spice and sauce.

Usually I'm not a fan of leaving reviews of this nature but unfortunately my mother didn't have a pleasant experience with one of the staff. She ordered the Mango Fandango smoothie, which is usually a rich mango tasting beverage, having visited a variety of different Dome Cafe establishments. She said to me, this tastes more like Greek sour yoghurt, whilst I thought it was her taste buds, I tried it and there was no Mango nor Fandango, it was primarily a yoghurt smoothie. So mum takes it to the counter to inform the staff member of the issue in which the response was "OK" and walks off. No replacement, no verification, no refund. The beverage wasn't made correctly, it didn't look close to the picture. Apart from that experience, which left a sour taste, everything else was good and pleasing. It was just that one little thing.

The burger patty was a bit dry, but otherwise a quite tasty burger. The Ceasar salad was good.

Good food and nice environment, had to wait for second order to arrive and someone to came and clean our table. After all will be back!

We are regulars who come almost every Tuesday for breakfast. After night shift at the hospital and only come to their Dome as our regular closed (Subiaco) hopefully it will reopen soon and we can return to where we felt like family. Very very disappointing today. Cold food. Wrong orders and repeatedly needed to return of food. Will have to consider other options.

This Dome needs a professional cleaner! The toilet area has what looks like a years worth of hand and foot prints on the doors. It’s grimy. The ladies toilets had 5mm long brown spots (I dread to think what they are) on several walls and near the door. There’s black mold in the corners where the walls meet the floor and rubbish spilling over the floor. The whole area was just grimy.
Having eaten at many Domes all over the state, this was my worst meal. My Big Breakfast was greasy, undercooked bacon, over cooked sausage, clear goo still on the top of my eggs, no butter for my toast and very weak tea in the pot.
I usually choose Dome because I know I’ll get a quality product in a quality venue, this was just disappointing on all sides.
NB, I did report the toilets to staff and they said they’d already cleaned it today. I later asked to speak to the owner, who gave the same response and said her staff always clean the toilet because “people up and down the street use it as a public toilet and put s**t all over the walls! ” So I’ve decided to add photos of the walls and doors so you can see what their version of clean is. I suggested they hire a professional cleaner, she very politely said “thank you for your feedback” and left.
More training and accountability required here.

I came in a few days ago and had ordered myself an iced chocolate and I have to say it was a beautiful experience the lovely lady with the long black hair was very nice and prompt on getting me my order, the restaurant itself was one of the nicest domes I have been to in Perth, was a beautiful atmosphere and I felt so welcomed, would definitely recommend coming to this dome if your passing through the area or just for a nice brekky or lunch!

Just under 30 mins for two coffees and toasties, toasties burnt and soggy at the same time.

Service was poor. Ordered a coffee and ice chocolate. Coffee arrived 5 minutes before chocolate as the staff were more focused on, still not sure what. Then when I advised the staff that the chocolate was hard and sticking to the cup, the response was, you guessed it, nothing. No sorry or can we get you another one. Would not go back as this just shows the staff were more focused on themselves than their main KPI, customers.

Staff are always friendly and service is good, the potato rosti is one of the better ones I have had from Dome. Dome is ok if you can't pick on a place to go.

Good food and efficient service as always. Patio well protected on this wet, wet day.

I posted the above review 2 years ago and it have never felt the need to change it till today. My husband and I had a lunch there and were both disappointed. His meat pie had a rock hard and burnt crust and my shitake salad was nothing like the menu picture which induced me to order it. The mushrooms were delicious but the salad was just a large pile of greens - the menu picture showed sliced avocado, tomatoes, cucumber, a little bowl of dip and something else I couldn't identify - maybe a slice of pita. Change from 5 to 3 stars relate only to food.

Had the snack platter (arancini balls, black pepper squid, mushroom) and fish tacos.
I loved the snack/sides platter but I hope the fish in the fish tacos could be more seasoned/flavourful. The snack platter could be a meal by itself but it's good for sharing and trying out the snacks.
Customer service was great! They ran out of sweet potato fries and offered to give a portion of onion rings since they forgot to mention it when we ordered.

Will come again and hopefully their sweet potato fries will be back by then

Staff rude. You make a mistake (twice) with the food you bring out you say it’s a mistake- don’t smart arse it with ‘are you sure? ! ’ then the manager behaves as bad…. Dome can maybe get away with understaffing & always looking slightly grimy, but only if you are nice! Very disappointed & offended

Ordered a toasted ham cheese and tomato sandwich with chips and aioli dipping sauce. The guy who serves me hears everything but the ham so I attempted to eat it but it tasted like it was just tomato no cheese when i get up to leave and worker says thankyou I responded wish I could say the same thing and his response was oh really thankyou as if i had just complemented them. Maybe the staff should learn to listen properly

Pleasant little place to visit. Can get a little too busy sometimes. Good coffee and good apple pie with ice cream.

It's a very sad situation, i used to like going to this Dome, but now it's HORRIBLE, is full of dogs, not haagen, not healthy, not comfortable at all.
