Dôme Café - Kwinana

Very friendly service and decent coffee.
Floor is grubby and needs a good clean/polish. It makes for a shabby appearance to what is a popular space.

Portion sizes got smaller while prices remain ridiculous for the quality. Tropical smoothy tastes like a banana smoothy.

Food was not worth what we paid. Rotten banana and strawberries on kids meal, cold food, terrible and tasteless coffee; and I thought avocado was meant to taste like avocado - not a lemon!

Didn’t realise that when staff make a mistake it’s the customers fault either!

We are locals but will be travelling elsewhere in future

Always positive, nice atmosphere. It's just a shame as a coeliac I am too scared to order food since I got sick due to gluten crumbs in my food. I wish they would understand and be more careful. Otherwise, very nice place to catch up with friends.

This is our usual coffee stop but quite disappointed with the apple pie and apple strudel which wasn't up to standard. Apple pie base tasted uncooked and my wife's apple strudel and custard wasn't warm as requested

Great alfresco with shady trees, Christmas tree ample parking, colourfully locals around, countryside atmosphere.

We came in Dome outside at Kwinna with our friend enjoy and lunch ok and cuppa too. The waitress are good friendly staff. Keep up good work!

Coming from a food and beverage background and knowing how customer service has to be top notch, this place has got to be the worst! Lack of service, atrocious attitude from all the staff; not even a single smile from ordering to being served our order. Can’t even greet or smile at their customers but they could have a laugh about it right behind the counter when someone asks them for a little help or a question. Literally watched my cousin walk to the counter to get her drink because it was just sitting there for 10mins and when she asked for it, one of the staff (probably the manager) wearing all black, spectacles, red hair and a red ribbon tied to her ponytail had the AUDACITY to stare at my cousin walking back to our table. She definitely didn’t look too happy with her customers self-serving their drinks.

Came here for scones and they served jam and dollop cream - when we asked for whipped cream from one of the staff, she quickly dismissed us and said “we don’t serve scones with whipped cream”, when we were only here last week and was served WITH WHIPPED CREAM. When we went to the counter to ask personally for whipped cream, none of the staff were happy but we still got it.

ALL the staffs should definitely go for some customer service training or probably just hire younger people to work!

Called in for coffee and cake line was very long. Staff got through it quite quickly considering and cake was yummy.

Disappointing service today. The girls were ran off their feet with 7 people in line waiting to order. Customer service lady needed to catch up on cold drinks but instead of politely explaining to customers in line left the register unattended. Eventually called another lady who’s customer service was again atrocious, making me feel like I had inconvenienced her. No apologies for a 10min+ wait (I was second in line), no eye contact, no smile. Very disappointing.

Would give this place no stars if there was an option. Don’t bother coming to Dome in Kwinana, unfriendly staff that seem like they don’t care for customer service and do not want to be here at all.

Came in with my mother and cousin for coffees and scones, they had finished their coffees as well as scones and I was still waiting for my drink! Looked over and I assume, the manager (wearing a black uniform, and had red hair) finished making my iced drink and it was just sitting there. Other staff were back and forth serving food and ignoring the drinks that were up there. I went up and asked if I could take my drinks as it has been sitting there and told her we had been waiting, she says “oh yep” and no apology or anything.

I understand that it can be busy, but I too work in hospitality and it’s not hard to give good customer service, even when you’re having a bad day. The staff seem to worry more about gossiping than serving customers. Save yourself the time and go elsewhere.

Dome is Dome no matter where you go but I was very surprised to find they stopped serving at 5pm on a Thursday evening. It appears, they mostly seem to have different closing hours for the different stores, depending on the area the store is in.
Still, 5pm is very early closing for a place like Dome.

Coffee and pot of tea order $9.90, delivered quickly, pleasant service. Earl Grey pot was leaf tea. Good location next to the library. Loyalty card available for frequent customers

Went to Dome Kwinana for breakfast expecting a good quality serve of pancakes but unfortunately mine were really dry and thrown together with no care! Also got banana bread toasted but also unfortunately it was burnt and flavourless, I’ll suggest to have a hard think for other breakfast places in Kwinana

We were regulars at Dome Kwinana and today 05 July 2022 I came in and when I was ordering I asked the waiter at the till if they could possibly please blend/purée my eggs and baked beans as I just had Major surgery and cannot eat solids, the waiter said “Nope we won’t do that”.

I’m very disheartened from the service at Dome Kwinana and we now are opting for other restaurants like the Coffee club inside the Kwinana Marketplace (The Hub) who without hesitation cooked me Some eggs and puréed them without any issues and this was my first visit there.

It’s a shame that the Dome Kwinana doesn’t seem to value their customers let alone their regulars and aren’t willing to accommodate someone that is medically unable to consume solids while recovering.

Unfortunately I cannot any longer recommended Dome Kwinana anymore due to my experience and would Highly recommend Everyone take the short stroll across the road and into the shopping centre where you can find the lovely Staff at Coffee club who will go above and beyond to accommodate whatever your needs.

Multiple times ive ordered meals and only half has come to my table and orders been completely messed up, had to wait longer than it took for the meal to be made for the extra missing items to be brought out by this time all other parties have finished their meals and my daughters meal was cold. Wont come back again. Great way to spend easter breakfast next time ill go to bliss momos in wellard.

Food wait was a little extreme, the person I was with has finished their meal before I got my steak sandwich? , food itself was nice and staff were polite, just not keen on almost an hour wait for a simple staple

I have been here many times before and the food always consistently tastes great. Today I ordered a shiitake mushroom wrap and it tasted really good. It had a lot of mint and coriander in it which I really enjoyed. My only complaint would be that I would prefer a little more shiitake mushrooms in there, which is a shame because the shiitake mushrooms tasted so good. I also had a cappuccino which was really good compared to some other places.

I highly recommend coming here!

If you time it right you’ll get the happy, helpful, friendly staff on duty. The food is consistently great and coffee is always good. Our go to place for a coffee and cake with friends and clients. Hi

The lady at the reception was very rude. I ordered my food at 1: 50 today. She didn't greet me, was very dismissive and very unhelpful. Terrible experience.

I asked her for colour pencils afterwards and her response was that it was somewhere out there.

I had to ask another person working there who was very courteous and helpful. So the one star.
