Dôme Café - Currambine reviews
49I used to always come here, but I won't be back. The squid salad was shocking. Limp lettuce with a packet of dry noodles lashed on top (not even separated) and over cooked squid that was cleverly covered (and disguised) in sauce. Disgusting! This Dome used to be lovely with friendly staff, excellent service and fresh, tasty food. Today I ordered a meal I always used to get, and it used to always be fresh, crisp and delicious. It definitely was not that today! The restaurant was rather empty so no excuse to dish out substandard food and give diners an awful dining experience.
This morning's eggs just didn't make the cut. Just wasn't what I asked for again. It was disappointing to pay for something I couldn't eat and didn't want to eat.
Nice food and environment but unfortunately I complained multiple times about the terrible food that didnt match the photo at all and never heard back.
Staff seemed extremely disinterested in serving staff, in fact almost annoyed that they had to actually serve people. Not impressed at all.
This place is really starting to look dilapidated, dirty floors, dead flies on window sills, cobwebs (and big spider) on ceiling and busted furniture. Tables are left uncleared, we had to do it ourselves, a real shame because location is great and food and coffee are reasonable, won’t be going back until they lift their game!
Nice coffee but no love in presentation.
I ordered a very hot large coffee and when it was served to me there was no napkin around the very hot glass so I could actually hold it without burning my fingers. Staff should be shown how to show a bit of love and take initiative with presentation.
Yeah NOPE not the best dome around they stuffed our orders up food was cold to many kids working with no idea of what there doing. Very disappointed ️
Scones were undercooked/stretchy.
Also at no point were the people i was with get asked for proof of vaccination!
First time eating from here. Very disappointed bacon & egg roll should be re advertised as fat & egg roll. Eggs were bad aswel wasn't just a bad one on the day got 2 of the same both as bad as each other. Then there's the price $30 for 2 takeaway rolls rip off! You pay for what you get but not here. Maccas breakfast better I no sounds wrong but yeah!
I frequently visit the various Dome Cafes. Particularly the one in Kingsley, Mullaloo, Wanneroo, Joondalup, Butler and Currambine. However Currambine, I was disappointed that a staff member was reluctant to serve me in the upper level saying it was closed. I was there @ 3: 45pm. I could see people upstairs. Another staff member questioned her answer. She blinked her eyes and " as if to say back me up". The other staff member just froze and walked away. Now if my neice wasn't as thirsty I would have cancelled my order. Disappointed!
Great location, excellent menu variety. Had late lunch, an amazingly tasty Virginia leg ham sandwich with melted cheese and a falafel salad with avocado.
Both deliciously fresh and tasty.
Excellent all round.
Prompt service and open interior, east facing windows are marvelous for that morning sun on our faces for brekky.
After a long hiatus, we decided to return to Dome Currambine in WA to see if anything had changed since our last visit.
Great news! Lots has changed at that place and for the better too.
The management team has changed and a new team of staff are onboard, all bursting with energy and enthusiasm to serve their customers.
The cafe has a pleasant vibe with music playing at reasonable levels in the background and not interrupting easy conversations among family or friends.
The menu is a significant step-up from the previously static and limited range. They have funky upbeat seasonal menus, Christmas themed coffee cups (see photo) and a good range of kid friendly food is also available for the young ones. Well-behaved dogs are welcome on the cafe's verandas while their owners dine in the glorious sunshine and cool breezes of the area.
Our standout server on the day was a well mannered and professional gentleman by the name of Satiyar, who would have been equally comfortable and at ease in the likes of the Ritz or the Marriott hotel restaurants. Shoutout to Satiyar.
Since the management change, staff are more relaxed and that translates to a positive experience for the customers. We'll certainly be back to immerse further in the revised Dome Currambine.
Wow! Such a nice place, beautiful environment with a stunning upstairs view at sunset time tonight/ 6pm. Food and drinks were great, got their refreshing new wellness blend.special thank-you Kara for the great customer service, will definitely be back, you were delightful!
Keep it up,
Lovely Dome Currambine team xox
There are good Domes and bad, but every time I've been here I've been impressed by the coffee, service, and the many and varied places to sit. Never overlook upstairs!
For the price not worth it. Paid $20 for a Luke warm microwaved slightly dry lasagne and a side salad with low quality leaf. And for the price would have expected some chips. And there's a weird water bucket the bathroom.
Good place. Need to learn how to cook poached eggs. They were not nice and runny. Were almost hard boiled. Not good for a smashed avocado stack with Salmon
Great for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Surprisingly crowded, so gives an indication of worth the money kind of food. Plenty of parking spaces.
Popped in for a quick brekky. Good coffee, good food, good service - just like you'd expect at a Dôme.
I came in today for a coffee. They got my order wrong twice, the guy was quite rude about it. Then ordered chips and they were very small, I've had dome at may places before and service and food is always great.this time i was just very disappointed. Would not recommend.
