Dôme Café - Victoria Park reviews
38Asked for an iced latte and recieved a normal hot latte. When i said something they took it away and poured it in another cup and added ice
I had coffee and didn't meet to my expectation, the coffee had bad smell, perhaps they didn't wash the cup well.
Very disappointed in the staff. Rip you off by not giving you two hash browns and only one. Even tho it says two. Paid way two much. U can get a $10 that give you almost as much food as the $26.50
This is really a place where you feel comfortable. The staff are extra nice. The service is very good
Fantastic bacon and eggs on ciabatta with a smooth flat white. Quality food and cosy atmosphere.
Had a chicken parmi and it was delicious. Bit salty but enjoyable. And i think i had a latte and in the second pic you could see its very weak. It was almost just a milk so i had to order a shot of espresso to put in the coffee. And i paid full price ($4.5 i think) which was ok but it would've been nicer if they charged me a price of an espresso since their coffee didnt actually taste like a coffee.
Anyway even after i put an espresso in the coffee it didnt taste any better. I was surprised they couldnt even make an average coffee in a busy cafe like this.
Food/atmosphere 3.5/5
Coffee 1/5
3.5 stars
Environment: not a big Cafe. Nice decor. Outdoor, alfresco and indoor dining. Clean floor. Better and cleaner than the branch in Belmont. Toilets are just average. - 7.3/10
Service: served drinks and food fast. Self service cabinet for tap water, seasoning, toothpicks and newspaper. - 7/10
Food: standardise ingredients and presentation.
- Beef lasagne, $21.95: served very hot smaller portion of lasagne. The beef filling was stuffed in. Plenty of sauce. - 7/10
- Potato Rosti poached eggs, 18.45$ two poached eggs were smaller. Soft potato rosti. - 6.8/10
- Evergreen, 9.95$: not very full glass. Taste ok.
Great little spot with friendly staff the food was spot on. The coffee was a pleasant surprise. Thanks guys.

Dometrotter rating 3.1/10
So far 2 visits both catastrophes let’s hope for a better experience when I try again next.if that day ever comes
Ham Eggs Hollandaise always a winner with hubbie! Always love DOME coffee. Can't go wrong with breakfast at Dome. Service very efficient at Vic Park and meals delivered very quickly.
Took my car into Bob Jane TMart for new tyres so this was perfect spot for lunch, it's a short walk. Anyway, ordered some food for my Grandson and myself, the meals are huge - note to self, next time just order one meal! Staff were helpful, food was good. Just a bit difficult getting the pram up into the cafe, there's no ramp that I could find?
Been here many times and the staff are always friendly. Particularly this morning. Coffee is great, as is the food. Thank you.
After finishing night shift at 6am this morning. I decided to make my way to Dome for some breaky and a hot chocolate.
From the moment I came in the door I was greeted and welcomed in.
When I ordered my meal I was just starving and didn't care.
But after eating that I know it was made with LOVE. BEST DAMN BREAKY IVE HAD IN A WHILE.
Review updated below.
Being Dome you know the food and coffee is good, this one has a large area to choose from inside, with multiple tables on a terrace outside and 3 sets of leather chairs inside.the staff are always friendly.
Update, july. 2021.
Management have decided to only have the gutter rag newspaper "the west" available now and no longer have the premier papers the "AFR" nor "The Australian"! It is simply not the same anymore hence the massive downgrade in rating. After nearly 5 years of daily visits before work I can no longer find enjoyment sitting just with a coffee and no intelligent paper to read.
Great position but service lets it down, have been over 50+ times and probably had a problem at least half of the time. I regularly ask for the bacon removed from one of their wraps and still usually comes with it even after asking for it to be removed and seeing it go through as removed on the register. I constantly have to ask for new food. Food will arrive before your drinks.
A great little Dome, cosy and friendly, packed at lunchtime. A lot better now it closes at 5pm.
Love all Dome Cafe's, here, clean tidy, very friendly and helpfull staff, great service. Can sit inside or outside with umbrellas for shade, which is what we did today, so relaxing having a cuppa here.
I have been here more than 500 times for this 3 years and can’t get enough to come back.
Continuously served nice flavourful coffees, friendly services and better armchairs than what we got at home.
Always packed with locals.
Same as most Dome cafes do, they got a nappy change in a easy-access and wide bathroom.
Relaxing atmospheres as if we are at “Home” rather than “Dome”.
There are colouring and puzzles with a set of colouring pencils to play at Dome and take them to home.
I love their generous size of the iced latte after a long walk.
And my kids love $1 babycino with marshmallow.
