Dôme Café - Armadale reviews
50Regular customer of Dome at the old location and always happy. Went to the new location today and very disappointing. When I ordered the lady taking the order was simultaneously having a conversation with 2 work colleagues and wasn’t listening and kept asking me to repeat my order and got it incorrect as was too busy listening to her colleagues talk than taking order. I stood there waiting for receipt and she proceeded to serve the next customer and never gave me a receipt that I requested. She appeared to have a a French accent so not sure if that was the issue understanding my Aussie accent. Several of tables left with food long after customers had left. Won’t be back.
The service is soooooooo slow. Food took forever to be served. Not friendly staff as well.
Pretty pathetic when you pay an extra $3 for gluten free toast to be presented with the worlds tiniest slice of bread…
Ordered the same as my partner and his slice of normal toast was 3 times the size…. It was store bought gluten free bread too the $3 mark up you’re making on GF bread is criminal.
Won’t be back.
Refurbished in new area. Plenty of seats, booths and upstairs area too. Had eggs and salmon hollandaise.
Gotta love those big comfy chairs.
To tell the truth, they are my main reason for going there.
The biggest point of difference in a plethora of coffee shops.
Morning tea this morning was fabulous. The staff were friendly, polite and helpful. The food came promptly. The only negative was that the cappacinos were very milky, even with an extra shot. To be fair though, milky cappacino seems to be a common thing in Perth
Service was good, even though they were very busy. Food arrived in decent time, however was a small pile of chips. Prices have also gone up and almost every meal is over $20.
Was at the Dome during the time restrictions from Covid were being lifted. Had to wait for a table due to restricted numbers dining in. Once seated food was fast, delicious as always
Mushrooms barely cooked, squid was tough and chewy, eggs didn't have any flavour at all, toast wasn't even toasted it just a piece of bread with some marks on it, milkshakes came in the milkshake tins rather than the glasses, 3/4 of my milkshake was just milk didn't have any flavour whatsoever also not to my surprise the plate had a puddle of water on it that everything was sitting in.
Great service totally.
Staff are friendly and great to deal, coffee really good however the food portion sizes are small which makes each meal expensive. It's great to be able to sit outside in the fresh air but we both left not feeling full. Our main problem was the fruit salad which literally had about 10 pieces of cut up fruit which was a rip off.
Came on Monday about 2: 30pm. Ordered an ice coffee and big breakfast. Ice coffee came without cream, and the bacon with the breakfast was disgusting and barely cooked, it looked like it had just been thrown on a grill for 30 seconds, the fat was all stringy, the bacon itself was completely undercooked and covered in black grill marks. Also the food was sitting in a little puddle of water, I’m assuming from the poached eggs. Gross food. Won’t ever eat there again.
Great spot for a coffee.nice and large inside and a good outside area. Food is consistent and solid as is usual for Dome
Sunday July 10th: Absolutely Amazing Breakfast, I would highly recommend this cafe, staff were very polite and also very helpful with recommendations if you get stuck. I could not fault this place at all. Service was also amazing and very quick.food and presentation was 5star. Definitely going back for more:)
Been there only once and ordered a latte and big veg breakfast and this is what I got!
I have been to all the domes across perth but never had amazing, delicious and mouthwatering breakfast like this.
I hope pics will explain everything.
P. S eggs are missing which I got after 10 mins
Food is a little over priced but good. The staff are polite and quick.
Never enough papers on the weekend though.
Big breakfast was yum, coffee was delicious, and staff were very pleasant, enjoyed still very pricey.
Food was good down side we moved from outside to inside because of the riff Raff out side not domes fault but it effects the experience
Place seems nice, but the chips they gave with my burger were the worst I've had in a long time. Unsalted and over cooked. Pretty pricey for what you get I think.
Typical chain coffee shop, plesent to sit down for a coffee, coffee is reasonable quality. Good place to catch up with someone for a chat. Easy to get to being on Armadale mall.
Theses guys are always great, obviously part of the Dome franchise but can honestly say one of the better ones we've stopped in at, great customer service and always very accommodating.
Always enjoy dropping in from time to time.
