Dôme Café - Banksia Grove reviews
43Another beautiful breakfast from our local! Breakky wrap with hollandaise on the side is the best way to start a Saturday! Service with a smile as well! Love it team
I’ve been coming to this Dome almost every day since the shopping centre opened. Not just for the coffee, but for the friendly owners and staff. I always feel welcome and always have a good laugh. This is a family owned business. I never wait long for my coffee, even when it is busy. I love when they bring their little kids in, and have a quick cuddle. They have grown up before our eyes. Thank you Chloe and fam.
Just had the French toast special. The strawberries were so sour they were inedible…even though strawberries are currently at their best. The slivers of banana had obviously been cut from an overripe banana and were also inedible. Very disappointing
Handy that there are a few of these around and you know you’ll get consistency but the coffee is always scalding hot and the service is pretty ordinary.
Fab place - love the service. Everywhere is pricey in Perth for take out food - this is still a bit, but much less so than others. Service was good
I had breakfast this morning, really enjoyed so much, the service great and the Steak Sandwich was fresh and tasty. The atmosphere of the Dome Cafe was great. Highly recommend!
The chicken tastes great, the salad and the sauce/dressing is really nice. For the price I expected more chicken because it is pricey at $21.
My first visit to a Dome. Much as I expected. Enjoyed the food and drink. Comfortable seating. I was surprised it was so empty, but maybe that was the time of day - mid afternoon.
A good place to meet up and chat.
This was the worst Dome I have ever been to.
My friend ordered a bowl of wedges & it wasnt even half full. They ran out of pineapple juice & instead of popping to Coles to get more they topped it up with orange juice
My wrap was soggy coz it was warmed up in the microwave. Was given crisp crumbs from the bottom of a bag. Asked for aioli instead of sriracha & they gave me nothing. There was chunks of raw onions & cherry tomatos sliced in half. Was horrible. Only nice thing was my ice tea coz that came in a sealed bottle
30/12/22 Went out for breakfast, at Banksia Grove, not at all busy, which i thought was good. But then maybe everyone else goes elsewhere. The cappachino was really a flat white, with over the top chocolate on the top. No creamy taste or frothy ness, Long Black was very weak. My avo smash was good, but hubbys big breakfast (his words) tasteless. I have been here many times and had no issue, but today a total waste of $58
Got the big breakfast tomato burnt and cold in the middle
Bacon burnt, eggs suppose to be sunny side up might as well asked for hard boiled eggs, it’s the worst I have ever had at Dome never again absolutely terrible
This Dome is bot much different from other Dome's heavily overpriced for very mediocre food.
I got pulled pork sliders this time that tasted like polony, this was 16.95 then my daughter ordered a kids burger meal for 10$ the serving size of the kids meal was bigger than the adult pulled pork meal.
I never elect to go to a dome of my own accord but every time I have to go its the same absolutely bland lackluster experience, with prices designed into tricking you into thinking its a high quality establishment.
Not a reccomended location for locals unless if course you dig paying 13$ for a crossaint.
I mean, it's dome. Staff are nice though and brought out our order promptly. Nice clean store and heaps of seating options.
Very fast service and food is very fresh and great quality produce used.
Very satisfied.
Always enjoy the atmosphere and the free newspaper. Food is consistent standard which is good. Service can be interesting esp when staff are just talking amongst themselves and forget a customer is waiting. Usually good
Dome Banksia Grove ticks all the boxes
Good coffee, excellent cakes and no matter what time of the day, the staff are friendly and attentive, the restaurant is clean and safe
With breakfast, lunch and dinner available it is a great place to catch up with my family and friends
I enjoyed my oat milk mocha, yum, with a cheesecake, while my family made short work of the carrot cake and lemon-lime brule with cappuccinos
I recommend you give them a try
Thank you
Neat, clean and tidy. Meals are of standard fare at a reasonable price. Good to see they are checking vaccine status. Well done guys!
A favourite spot for business meetings and also for a great feed. It has such a large range of delights you go at anytime for a snack or a proper meal and you will get something yummy.
Nothing against the location itself - perfect cafe to relax and perfect for catch-ups. My main complaint is a more overall complaint for Dome - the pricing is a bit too high for what they charge and the staff always seems uninterested no matter what branch you are at.
Nothing against the staff or anything as its not in their control but when i was first seated my table was a mess and no one had come to clean it even with multiple staff walking past, i then went to sit inside where i cleared my own table, the elderly lady next to me was clearing her table as well so i helped her out since none of the staff was. I then recieved my milkshake in the blender, not a glass? I wasnt angry just very confused, i was also told they didnt have the cake that i ordered and there was no other gluten free options so i refunded my cake and had my milkshake which had a very sour after taste so i ended up leaving with a refund for that too.
Personally ive had two years experience in hospitality and even with very limited staff put on we were able to work hard enough to keep the customers clean and happy.
