Sorry but a servo coffee machine would have been better than this "flat white". 15 mins of waiting to get the worst coffee from a "barista". At least the coffee cup was cute and staff are friendly. Reading through other reviews though, and the replies to the less favoured reviews, they need to take ownership for lacking quality in certain areas of the business.

Dolce & Salato: A True Taste of Italy

Dolce & Salato is a true gem in Perth. This family-owned and operated business has been serving up delicious Italian pastries, pizzas, and other treats for over 20 years. The quality of the food is simply outstanding, and the service is always friendly and attentive.

I've been to Dolce & Salato several times now, and I've never been disappointed. The pastries are always fresh and flaky, the pizzas are cooked to perfection, and the coffee is strong and flavorful. I especially love the cannoli, which are filled with rich and creamy ricotta cheese.

If you're looking for a delicious and authentic Italian meal, I highly recommend Dolce & Salato. You won't be disappointed!

Great presentation of cakes and foods available. They have variety of cakes and most of them are good.coffee not the best. Nice service with friendly atmosphere.

The cheesecake was amazing and the drinks were perfect although they forgot to bring out some food the wonderful team gave us some delicious cookies to make up for it you guys are running a brilliant business and deserve an award keep doing what your doing can’t wait for my next visit

WORST Dolce & Salato I have visited. The cake display was virtually empty. The parking was difficult and the staff were poorly trained. I asked one of the staff if they had a chocolate log cake, she didn't even know what a log cake was! She asked someone else who told her what a log cake was and they 'not surprisingly' did not have it.

We love the food in here it’s always very nicely prepared and were ver happy with Alejandro and Lorena both we found them very attentive, polite, respectful and good manners plus very efficient in their service

Pizza slices and cannoli (finally some real ones) are wonderful at very affordable prices, highly recommended.

Coffee is fair but sadly today was the 3rd time they got my coffee order wrong so I won’t be going back. Ordered multiple coffees and nothing was written on the cup as to which was which. Not fun for the lactose Intolerant guy at work

I was SO happy with the desserts we got from here! The Cannolis were delicious as were the little sponge/tiramisu teacakes we got (not sure of what they are actually called) the service was friendly, we had a great laugh, I wish I'd asked her name. The only frustrating thing was that the freezer in which the gelato is kept wasn't working very well so our ice cream was quite melted but, overcome and adapt, we took it back to our resort, froze it and ate it the next time. No regrets!

I recently purchased the Tiramisu Log on Sunday 21-08-22 for my partners birthday. All who ate it the following day experienced food poisoning. No use by or production date was supplied. As per other reviews this is not the first time. Please be careful when purchasing cakes from this store.

Just a comment on the coffee. $3.5 for a small coffee with 1 shot, $4.5 for a medium coffee with 1 shot. $1 extra for almond milk. This has got to be reviewed. The standard is small is 1 shot, medium is 2, large is 3. The extra charge for almond milk has become a joke.

This is one of the most delicious cafes in Perth! From the staff being so kind and sweet every single time, their amazing coffee and their food. It's all amazing their breakfast panino is my favorite. Thank you for quality food and coffee.

Very bad experience. I bought this Tiramisu on Sunday afternoon 31/10/21. I and my husband consumed one piece each on Sunday afternoon. We both immediately got diarrhea. I didn’t realized it caused by the Tiramisu on Sunday. Then, I consumed one piece on Monday, again I felt something uncomfortable and got diarrhea. This Tiramisu is just like a laxative.

I bring this Tiramisu back to this shop, and told them our experience after we consumed this Tiramisu. The staff didn’t care and not apologized at all. And, the staff said her company had no refund policy. They don’t take any responsibility as a business.

And, they won’t tell you what is the production date of the cake. Customers need to be very careful when purchasing.

Good selection of sweets and sandwiches. Service was slow. Outside tables weren't clean or wiped down. There are better places nearby to grab a coffee

Coffee and cakes here are always good. Staff are friendly and service is fast. Great value too!

They make a lovely short mac here but the cake cabinet is always half empty when I get there in the afternoons. They don't seem to have the same wide selection of cakes and sweet treats that some of the other D&S outlets have. The staff here are very friendly though and it's a nice clean place to sit and enjoy a cuppa.

This is my everyday early morning coffee stop. The coffee is great, cakes fabulous and loads of papers to read. But that aside, I would call in just to say good morning to the staff. They are without doubt the friendliest and kindest bunch of young people I have ever come across.

I’ve only ever had great experiences here until today! An incredibly rude, dismissive and unfriendly Asian lady served me. Still 40 minutes until they closed, I was greeted with “yes! ” And glared at. Major fail, time to find another local!

What an excellent cafe! The best coffee, and view of the river. Amazing cakes and savoury bites. Didn't know what to choose! Had the best vanilla slice I've ever eaten.
Excellent service. A lovely way to spend a morning with a friend. Thank you!
