Great experience and friendly staff that were patient and helpful. Pricing was reasonable and relatively cheap.

Reallt useful if you do not have a garage on your own, but have the skills. Guys there are really helpful if you need some help or advice.

Have been twice now to DIY garage. I am a a qualified mechanic and happy to say the workshop and facilities are top notch. You can do anything from a service to major works there and the price to hire a hoist is definitely worth it.

Both times I have been the staff have been friendly and helpful. I went on a busy Saturday recently and even though Kieran was under the pump he was still friendly and able to help everyone with what they needed.

Absolutely amazing customer service. Was abit screwed over by rota wheels and bambi managed to sort me out amazing service will definitely be going back in the future.

If you need to lift your car to work on it, go no further. DYI Garage has 6 hoists and with an hours' notice you can have one, if there is availability. They don't take bookings due to so many no shows, so it's first in best dressed. Then if you need tools they have them for hire, or parts they can get them in 30 mins. Plus they offer great help and advice if you need any. If you love working on your own car then I'd recommend you try these guys. A hoist makes it sooooo much easier. Safe travels.

We did a clutch change in my xr8. The guys were super friendly and helpful, full of great tips and kept us on the right track.

I can not recommend this joint highly enough.
So many tools to hire and every product you can need for your car or they can order them in at a great price.
To say these guys sorted me out would be an understatement.
They show you how to use the hoist and offer their advice and help whenever you need it and it’s a super fun space to be in.
I’m no mechanic but their helping hand made light work of changing out my cv joints by myself. Could go on for days. Cheers legends

Went for a service and check before going on roadtrip.we left the car running smooth, they gave us back the car with knocking noise, shaking and couldnt go up to 60kmh. They were like Oh we may broke something while chevking but not our fault. Boss were supposed to call me back but never happened. Will definitely make a claim. They broke intentionally 3 of the coil pack

This is my second time using DIY Garage.
The first time I really felt looked after which had made me return for the second time. This time round I felt a little taken advantage of seeing I had previously been encouraged to not purchase parts as I was told I would get them cheaper in house. Sadly with abit of investigation I would have been better purchasing the parts myself as I would have got them cheaper with my discounts. I had ordered a part which had arrived 45 minutes later. This ended up being the wrong part, this resulted in me standing around for an additional 30 minutes until the right part had arrived. I am very well aware this is the nature of the industry but after receiving the bill I had paid for this time and I was charged $27 per hour which I had not been notified of over the phone or upon arriving. The website says $22 per hour and even tho I was told it was displayed in the workshop I had not sighted the sign during my time there.
I am a mechanic myself and live in Rockingham which is a long drive to malaga. I had found this place a good option not to have to work off the ground from home but after this experience I really feel disappointed, and unsure if I will return.

Go here (trust me) - hire a hoist - get repco parts delivered as you work, listen to sick music and ask people who know what's up how to overcome that tricky bolt that stumps you for hours or borrow a tool you might not have. Everyone's friendly and everyone's a car guy.

Don't trust me? Look at my clutch change pic - see those extensions on that rattlegun? Do you have that many extensions to reach that top transmission bolt in your shed? Didn't think so - transmission jack? Probably not. Scrap bins for junk? Cool people to bounce ideas off or borrow a funnel from? If you need a task done to your vehicle you can accomplish it here while learning hands on.no shame. Sometimes dowels get stuck, you got friends to help you wiggle while you pull or bleed your clutch? I don't.
