Divers Tavern

Visited Divers on my own for a dinner (Thursday evening). Lively and casual atmosphere was my first impression. I ordered the beef cheeks based on the reviews and was not disappointed. Absolutely delicious, although the veges were soggy, but I didn't mind so much, as the beef cheeks was the star of the dish.

Had the tone perfectly cooked perfectly season! Super friendly staff! Mostly served bY a young man named Felix and older gentlemen that goes by Dave both super friendly and accommodating, ans kudos to the chef for a perfectly cooked tone of 450g that only cost 30 dollars, all in all I'd say this is the best pub I've been to above the 26th parralell

Great food, service can be hit and miss but mostly good. Atmosphere can be pumpin when an event is on but the bands were better served in the old part of the pub with the stage. I wonder why they closed that part ‍️

My first time here was a great time I got the steak sandwich and it was fantastic, The second time we got Three little pigs pizza, rib and fish and chips nothing in comparison to the steak sandwich the pizza was 90% ham and the ribs were boiled and covered in sauce and the fish and chips were oily and lack luster an otherwise good time but wouldn't order those meals

Great food massive parma/parmi. Great selection of adult beverages. Was absolutely packed due to the Melbourne Cup. Staff did an excellent job.

Love coming here for dinner. Great prices for the massive portion sizes. Get there early as it fills up FAST & you may not get a seat/have to wait upto an hr for food. The wait is worth it though! Great friendly service

3 stars for a good atmosphere, variety of drink options and friendly staff.
Consistently terrible food especially the smoked wings on GF day which tasted bland like they were boiled in water.
Thought it might have been an external mob so tried their regular menu another day and the choices were just as bland.

Had to wait 1 hrs + For cold Steak sandwich’s and chips. For that amount of time, one would think it would be at the correct temperature. Asked for my money back and waitress came back with our cold food and said with massive attitude “ No refunds, eat it “
The manager was lovely and did give me a refund. Customer service was terrible.

First time I went here the service was great and I had braised beef cheeks which were amazing! Unfortunately the second time I bought a jug of lemon, lime & bitters to share which ended up being 75% ice and barely filled 2 schooners, had to complain and it was a hassle to get it rectified, had the pork ribs which were tough and not very nice. All in all 3 stars, would have given 5 stars if my second experience was as good as my first

Walked passed and stopped for a beer. The girl singing was sensational tonight. Awesome to have live music like this available. Service was fast, beer price we don't know they just took our card and tapped with out being told a price or given a recipt. Will have to check my bank in the morning.

Great location, great specials. Can be very busy during dry season. Remember to look after locals as they keep you going during the wet season

A really popular place to eat and drink, so expect it to be busy. We were lucky to grab a table as some guys left, but you've got to be quick! Great service from the hard working staff at the bar and be prepared to queue to order your meal, which generally come out quickly. Good meals at reasonable prices and well worth the effort to go there.

The food was delicious but the Thai beef salad was entree size not a main, so a bit disappointing.
Staff were friendly and professional

Really disappointing. Not only did my husband get food poisoning from his meal, when I kindly alerted them to this via email in the effort to prevent other people from the same thing happening, they said they had forwarded it to the head chef- yet no apology or any response from the general manager or chef. Would not recommend.

Real Disappointment that the Cheese burger had no cheese on it.

However, the pork ribs were great

Great venue with lots of TV screens in sports bar area, 1 pool table, inside outside dining and live music venue next door. Menu not huge variety or range but good service and nice food. Beers galore on tap and cold

Food was good, great chicken parmy but experience was ruined by going back the next night and being ignored by the drive through staff. Ended up driving to the Roebuck drive through and got service straight away.

Never before I have experienced such a rude waitress. We were a large group that came in for dinner and as we were putting table’s together to fit everyone, we were told we weren’t allowed to move the tables and needed to be considerate of other people, even though we ourselves are paying customers and there were no other customers waiting to be seated. The table was empty. Usually a problem like this wouldn’t of been so bad but the way she spoke to us was disgusting tone, rude and unpleasant. She was obviously on a power trip. We were never told we needed to book a reservation for a large group, and we didn’t realise it would be problem, if she had spoken to us to like actual people we wouldn’t of felt so offended by this. I wish I could say I enjoyed the food but the experience put me off. Disappointing for tourists and they do not accommodate for groups.

Great value! Magnificent steak sandwich and Chicken Carbonara from the chef at Divers - great service and great food today - highly reccomend.
