Discovery Parks - Boulder reviews
32 We only stayed for two nights. Each site has a concrete slap. Very clean and modern bathrooms & toilets, the camp kitchen is very well equipped, lots of washing lines. & a lovely pool area. It's also very secure and friendly staff.
We enjoyed our stay & can only recommend it.
Comfortable rooms, meals are typical mining camp tucker, had better and certainly had not so nice places, have no complaints to offer and certainly like to mention the honesty of the room service ladies leaving my jewellery on the table and clean linen, Thanks
Couldn't give me a powered site for my tear-drop camper. Was told all caravan parks booked by mining industry! Stayed in a motel and had a backpack robbed from my. Thanks Kalgoorlie!
Won't stay overnight again!
Hi we would like to offer Lane St Discovery caravan park Boulder 4 stars because
Of staff generosity, no hassle assistance and constant non interference
Are you all good and friendliness / restaurant nightly (only small area for vans)
As large mining settlements surround PEACEFULL AND QUITE)
SPECIAL THANKS TO CAROLYNE / PETER (STIRRER) JODIE AND WAS IT BRENDA

The wife and I have been on the road for about 2 years. We have never had a customer service person as amazing as Jodie.
Lots of info with maps. She checked on us when she finished her shift to see if we'd settled in OK. She visited on our last evening to see how our stay had been.
I owned a retail store for 15 years. I would have killed to have someone with Jodie's attitude working with me.
Discovery Parks has a gem at Boulder.
Thanks Jodie and the other ladies.
We were in our motorhome on a powered site with ensuite
This park is basically a miners camp with a limited no of powered sites. The amenities are very small but the water pressure was great. We thought $66 per night was a little steep. Jodie on the office bent over backwards to find is a site and gave us lots of local info and brochures. She is an asset to Discovery.
Good option for a business stay, with cafeteria, laundry and parking. The Wi-Fi internet does not work as well as the air conditioning, which was repaired twice, it still did not work and in winter it is sorely needed
On our first impression We were so impressed with the good old country hospitality reception service, Jodie went out of her way to inform us of what was going on around town, and was very accommodating in every way. She Assisted us with information about the amazing restaurant on site and was knowledgeable about the area in general. We would definitely come back because of the service alone, the facilities and the camp kitchen were immaculate.
Average to below average food, 1 bar of mobile data reception, 1 bar wifi reception that drops out every few minutes or will not connect at all, multiple broken washing machines, walking distance from 1 pub, nothing more, would highly suggest staying elsewhere.
Booked in late, and was meet by a very friendly lady who gave me the envelope with all I required. When I entered cabin 1 it was extremely clean with towels and hand towels on the table. I was very impressed wth the cleaners and how they payed attention to detail. The breakfast and dineers are great and all the staff are happy and friendly.
My day trip return flight was unexpectedly cancelled. Panic began to set in when call after call revealed that there were absolutely no hotel rooms available in town (due to the Diggers and Dealers conference in the town). The staff at the Lane Street Park went above and beyond to save me from a night sleeping on the airport floor!
Staff were very helpful and welcoming. The park is really just one big miners' camp with a few tourists dotted around the place. Very exposed caravan sites. Ablutions just average, certainly below what would be expected for $48 a night. There was a woman with 2 dogs occupying the campers' kitchen who the staff knew about but pretended not to. We left after one night and moved up the road to Kalgoorlie's Prospect Park which was much better and only $42.
We only stayed one night, with on ensuite site, the facilities where clean and tidy, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and soap enough for two people, hand towel and floor mat
Very clean good for a night or two
With a Concret base there was no way to tie down our awning, so a good idea would be for the caravan park to drill in some tie down points
Stayed in the single man's camp. Its not bad. Food was pretty good in the dry mess.large clean pool. Caravan sites were large. Dogs are allowed
Very nice place the pool kamp kitchen and other facilities are great but the reason I can't give 5 stars is because bathrooms are small I male there is uniril 2 toilets and 3 showers
We stayed in a cabin No 2 I think it was
On the 12th 7th 21 was excellent the staff were kind and helpfull very good indeed
The lady that made dinner on my first nights stay seemed to put so much love into the food. Simple, but all cooked really well.
Our studio apartment type room is ok.
All round happy so far
On check-in over the phone, the lady was very happy to assist us with organising a caravan spot for us overnight. However, when waking in morning, we find our vehicle had been broken into (windows smashed in) and items had been stolen.when advising reception when they opened at 9am, the lady behind counter advised that it had happened the week before as well and to go looking in the park behind for our belongings cause that is where other people have found their stuff! We were not happy at all to find out that this is obviously a regular thing to happen in the park.
Police were advised, they came and took photos and we just have to get our car fixed.obviously costing us alot of money! We packed up and moved to another caravan park who were very happy to assist us.
The caravan park itself deserves a 3 star review at best. The grass has prickles and your constantly dancing around in the ants and mozzies, But Im giving Caroline at reception this 5 star review. My partners cousin passed away so when we went into reception to let them know we had to go back to Perth, Caroline was absolutely lovely and so comforting to my partner. She grabbed her some tissues and then came out from behind the desk to give her a hug and wished us a safe journey home and that she would keep an eye on our caravan I’m the meantime. When we eventually got back to Kalgoorlie to wrap up work and pick up the van, we went into reception again to check out and Caroline was once again super lovely and refunded us for the nights we had left and gave my partner another hug and wished us fair well.
Even before the passing, it was always a warm welcome from Caroline on the phone. Thank you for being such a sweetheart, and brightening our days.
Extremely overpriced. $51 for a powered site. Amenities clean but very hot as no ventilation, staff lovely. Discovery parks greedy. Maximum amount paid on this trip was $35 for a lovely CP. This is not even peak time!
