The reviews here has said it all. We were at Lavender cottage from 8-10 Dec 23. Host Mark and Kerriann were very hospitable and friendly. We have had a superb time. All the little cottages overlooked the dam/ water catchment. You can see the sunrise right from the comfort of the cottage. Host has put in pains to upgrade the cottage. There was the latest air conditioner cum heater, the heat light in the bathroom and the black out shutters to ensure the comfort of their guests. My 8 year old boy, 21 year old girl and myself canoed for the 3 evenings we were there. We even played Bingo and monopoly thanks to no / poor internet reception. The birds and sheep comes up to your verandah to get fed. Cottage is very clean and self contained with everything that you will need to whip up a scrumptious dinner with the local produce. Every morning we will have the feeding session for an hour. We stroll together with their two very friendly and lovable dogs Coco and Sam. There were alot of interactions with the animals. We even witnessed when Coco was reprimanding /growling at the two black pigs who seemed to be squabbling. There after, we saw Sam had a quick swim in the dam followed by a quick dump. What a life! When we left we bought two peacock feathers, one for each kid. No points for guessing which belongs to the boy, 4,000km later.

We stayed for 4 nights and had a great time. We appreciated how dog friendly the accommodation was as our little dog had a great time too. The setting was so relaxing and the hosts were welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended.

Beautiful location, cabin cosy and clean with all necessary amenities. It was great that our dog could join in the fun too. Hosts were friendly, helpful and informative.
Feeding the animals daily was so entertaining, (especially the ducks), for any age.
Would highly recommend for those who love the great outdoors and who don't mind getting dirty!
Also, close to main supermarkets and great restaurants and cafes.
Thanks Kerriann and Mark!

Mark and Kerriann are so friendly and welcoming. We stayed in one of the dog friendly cottages which was cosy and had all you need for a short stay. Although we did not go on the daily animal feeding walks we could see that they were very popular with families of younger kids. We loved canoeing on the lake and going for strolls through the farm, we even ended up with the goats going for a stroll with us! Lots of animals for the kids to interact with and the parrots visit everyday to feed on the bag of seeds provided with more available at reception for only 50c. One bonus of the stay was we seen a very rare Brush-tailed phascogale on a few night right on our porch. After describing this animal to Mark he came to our Chalet later that day to advise the correct name of it thanks to Kerriann putting him right! If we were to visit the area again we would definitely consider stating here. FYI, Manjimup is about 10mins, Pemberton 15mins, Denmark is a 2hr drive and well worth it, Hamelin Bay for the Sting rays is about 80mins and Margaret River is about 90mins drive so you are sort of central for the full South West area. I also highly recommend Ampersand Estates Winery on Vasse Highway for a lunch and tastings. If you want to get away from it all Diamond Forest Farm Stay is a great place to stay.

We had the most amazing little getaway here! Perfect holiday for a family with a pet. Our dog felt at home and loved the experience of being on the farm. You are allowed to leave your dog inside your cabin if you need to go out to the tram, for lunch etc. Our dog was very happy with this as she was so tired from enjoying the walks on the farm and going out to the pet friendly cafes. The owners are lovely and answer all your questions during the animal feedings and make everyone feel included. All the kids loooved the animal feedings and its not over crowded with only 4 cabins on the farm. Will definitely be back

This is the perfect getaway spot for young families. We loved that there was plenty that kept my toddler occupied while we didn’t even need to leave the farm. Feeding the animals daily was a hit, the cottage was extremely neat and clean, and the location was great. Highly recommend and would love to go back!

I can't recommentd Diamond Forest Farm Stay enough. There is as little or as much as you want to do.
Our cabin had a small secure yard for the dogs to come and go between the cabin and outside. There was plenty to keep our teen entertained and excited to be there.
Walking the dogs through the forest and allowing them to meet and greet the animals warm fabulous. They all slept for days when we returned home! The cabins are beautifully clean and comfortable with kitchens to prepare meals.
Thank you for your warm welcome and for sharing your beautiful surrounds with us. We couldn't have asked for more.

What can I say that hasn't already been said? Wonderful hosts, nice lake, a host of animals and animal feeding, nice digs, close to the Diamond Tree (but you can't climb it, for that you need the Gloucester Tree or the Dave Evans Bicentennial Tree) and not far from Pemberton with its glorious natural swimming pool in the middle of town and the Railway/Tramway. I suspect we will return!

We recently enjoyed four wonderful nights at Diamond Forest Farm Stay. Mark and Kerriann were so welcoming and our boys loved everything about our stay - the animal feeding every morning, fishing in and canoeing on the dam, the games room, feeding the parrots on the patio of our cottage, and all the things we saw and did in Manjimup, Pemberton and surrounds. We couldn't fault the cleanliness and facilities of our cottage - it really became our little home away from home. Many thanks to Mark and Kerriann for everything. We'd love to visit you again in the not-too-distant future!

Perfect place for two boys and a dog. My boys loved seeing the animals around the cottage. There was plenty for them to do, such as canoeing and having a go at fishing or maronning. Location very central. We found Mark and Kerriann very helpful if we needed them, but felt perfectly alone when we wanted. Our boys had a wonderful time and so did the dog. Thankyou.

The games room was a fun and unexpected surprise - haven’t played foosball in ages!

Thank you Mark and Kerriann for welcoming us (and our dog) and making our stay relaxing and stress-free. The farm stay is tranquil and the animal feeding is great (at our last stay). The accommodation is as always neat and comfortable. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Our family had a lovely time at Diamond Forest Farmstay
The cottage has everything you need including tea and coffee and milk.
Our family including our dog had a lovely weekend stay here.
We enjoyed the morning feeding of the farm animals, lovely evening walks around the property with our dog, canoeing on the dam and just the tranquillity of the whole place.
My toddler especially loved seeing the horses from our cottage and the lovely birds that came around.
Thank you so much Mark and Kerriann we definately will see you again next time we are in the area.

The most amazing farm stay we had at the start of the week, from the cabin being so clean and efficient with everything you need, to the farm being so beautiful, our girls enjoyed every second. Our 3 year old can't stop talking about all the animals especially the cheeky baby goats that she was playing with in the afternoons. She loved her birthday on the farm. We can't wait to head back when our littlest is older. Also bought the most amazing peacock feathers everyone is loving! Highly recommend for young families.
Thankyou mark and Kerriann!
