Good book selection, surprisingly vast vinyl selection and nice staff/vibe.
Good mix of new releases, classics and stuff you might not have seen.
Prices were okay as well.

Great store and helpful staff. Too many lazy parents letting annoying kids run amok in there though. I wish the owners would ban them

Love this store! I always go in just to take a look, and I don't think I've ever left without making a purchase. Great selection of books including modern, classics, coffee table, travel, children's & so much more; there really is something for everyone here.

Just had a super unpleasant experience here. I've made an effort to always support this bookshop and avoid Dymocks etc. Those days are over.

Great store with a great range of products (albeit expensive products) but customer service is occasionally lacking. For example, visited the store at 4: 55 p.m. On a Sunday to buy a particular book when the store closes at 5 p.m. Was told that the store is closing and I can’t come in. When I explained that I was looking for a particular book, I was followed by a member of staff to the relevant part of the store - all in all, not the best experience.

After ringing heaps of places I finally rang Diabolik and they had a copy waiting patiently for me! Thanks J. P!

Awful experience dealing with this business. Super unhelpful. Was sent a gift from this store by a friend. It arrived broken and they told to fix it myself. After I did manage to fix it I asked to swap it over for a different colour and was told to send it to the person who sent me the gift - who lives in London. Ridiculous.

Loads of good vinyl. Only issue is very hard to look thru. Packed to tight. They need to.make a decision that they are a record shop and give over more space.

Spent about 10 minutes in the store. Nobody greeted me as I entered. No one offered me any help. Staff walked past multiple times refused to acknowledge me. Looked me up and down… not a very nice vibe. Will not be returning

Love the range of books here and how they have card games and lots of extra bits and bobs. Staff are friendly and always willing to help.

Best shop in WA. Good guys as well. Awesome book and records. I'd pretty much live here if they'd let me.

I went in for a quick look and ended up with so many things not only for myself, but also for Mother’s Day and a cute “thinking of you gift” for my partner. This is probably one of my favourite book stores I’ve ever been too. Books, art, gifts, vinyl.what’s not to love? !

Diabolik books and record is a fun and eventful bookstore that sells a variety of different items but mainly including vinyl records, books and board games. This store right in the heart of Mount Hawthorn has a fun, low key feel to it with good music and an all-round good store.

Easily one of the best record stores in Perth
Not to mention the books & other cool things

The groovey people in there were so helpful. They all went out of their way to find a 50th pressed for a friend.
