I did my pda a total of five times, failing the first four by a land slide. Instructors were incredibly kind and informative and helped me to be a much safer driver each time. Ron, Chris, Rick and Dorothy are all amazing at their jobs and great people.

A lady named Fiona was very rude when asked to assist in booking a PDA. She rolled her eyes and looked me up and down and made me feel very uncomfortable. She then refused to look at the dates unless I paid, she said “are you gonna pay or not because i dont wanna change my screen” and kept pointing at the eftpos when i was asking questions. Very unprofessional. 0/5 stars service. Shreks wife needs to go back to the swamp, thats were that sort of behaviour belongs.

Go somewhere else for your PDA.
Each time I’ve booked there’s been issues… once they didn’t have an assessor after I waited months for a test, another time they wouldn’t even do the test because I didn’t have aircon! Then failed because the assessor doesn’t know the rules around roadworks he then failed to give me any written record of my test as to why I failed.
Bunbury DOT is a joke. Go anywhere but here.

I had the most disappointing experience in the transport department in Bunbury when I went there to transfer my NSW licence to WA licence I went to the department I was I informed that I need my passport, Medicare and my bank statement for address proof despite me having my NSW driving licence for which I had to return back the next day with all the documents to be presented I was waiting I. The queue when called my number the lady out there saw my transfer of license and said that it would take time and she needed to go for lunch for which I had to wait back in the queue to be served after the people who walked in after me when I get my call I was told that my Australian passport was not enough to prove my identity they needed my citizenship certificate I was surprised that what told to me to get I want to know isn't your passport enough to proof that you are Australian citizen and I do hv my current NSW licence valid and my Medicare card n bank statement with WA address. I am disappointed because I have to come back to this department again n again just to transfer my licence can't all this made easier for the public? Instead of going through all this hassle

Do not go for your PDA in Bunbury, go to Harvey if possible. Bunbury staff are very rude and find the smallest things to fail you ie; being too cautious if another vehicle is doing the wrong thing. Have failed me 3 times yet tell me Im a great driver and only failed because another driver didn’t indicate on a roundabout and I was too cautious. Change your address to go to Collie or Harvey. Bunbury are absolute revenue raisers. Zero stars

My son passed his PDA here on his 1st attempt. Rick was an experienced assessor who tried to calm my son's nerves and make him feel at ease before heading off on the test. Was provided with some tips and constructive feedback at the end as well as although he passed it wasn't perfect!

Don't deserve a star complete and utter rubbish to fail a person for not using a mirror enough what a joke, this place needs a complete overhaul of assessors and rude workers behind the desk DISGRACEFUL

Don't know why the reviews are so bad. You will fail if you can't drive to the standard, so learn the rules, practice and you will pass.

A lovely lady served me, she went above and beyond to help out late on a Friday afternoon. She made many phone calls and her attention to detail was spot on. Not sure of her name but very happy with the whole experience.

NEVER I repeat never do your PDA here especially by Dorothy you will be failed no matter what unless they feel nice on the day which again they/she will probably fail you anyway as she probably hasn't had a good day in her entire life, they will set you up to fail no matter what.

Visited the Centre on a Friday, a busy day in most establishments, and expected a long delay. Was pleasantly surprised when I was called up to the counter after only 15 minutes.
My enquiry was regarding entitlement to concessions on vehicle registration and what I thought would be a quick resolution turned out to be more complicated. The young man attending to my enquiry was Ayden and I thought it would be remiss of me not to place on record my appreciation of the manner in which he researched and solved my problem. Nothing was too much trouble and his attitude and pleasant manner was exemplary.
Well done and thank you Ayden.

I’ve done every licence from moped to MC truck. Passed all of them first go.

Booked in to upgrade my R-E to R class. Old mate failed me on some petty things, so I went to collie and passed it with out losing and points.

The fail culture at bunbury DOT is not worth your time and if you’re a young driver it is not worth having your confidence crushed. Do not recommend this place.

I would like to put in a complaint about Dorothy from the Bunbury store, she is the rudest, most disrespectful person I have met in a long time. I have had other assessors and have been let down nicely when told I had failed. Dorothy on the other hand came out after my PDA calling me a reckless driver and talking to me with a derogatory tone of voice. Then proceeds to put her hand up at my mum as she was responding to something Dorothy had said. Now I don’t disagree with not passing my test, but I disagree with how rude and uncaring she was when telling me I failed and actually kept smirking when I was getting upset, which then caused me to snap. This is not the first incident with Dorothy that I am aware of, I have never heard anything bad about any other Assessor but Dorothys name constantly comes up throughout my friends and family and no one has ever had a pleasant experience when being assessed by her. I strongly advise that she reevaluates her attitude towards customers because if she had spoken to me nicely I would’ve spoken nicely back, but that wasn’t the case. So I didn’t put up with disrespect.

We didn’t wait too long, Older lady serving us was very lovely. We had to change old plates to new ones she asked if we had a preference and bought out numerous plates and let us pic, she was happy and pleasant to deal with, she also had great customer service.

Pretty obvious why bunbury has a 60% fail rate.you don't want Chris for your open bike licence believe me.

Absolute disgrace of a licensing Centre, booked in my PDA and got failed for being TOO CAUTIOUS, The instructor proceeded to tell me that on a orange light I should have turned right and obstructed traffic, you’re either too cocky or not cocky enough, they should be teaching Learner drivers to be cautious and scared not teaching them how to hoon, the old guy with a bald haircut should not work in licensing, he got his license out of a weetbix box.
