Been over a month sent 5 requests about the same issue that is affecting my mental state (literally gone a full week without sleep because of crickets in the roof - those really big ones that sound like rusty metal squeaking)

Idiots keep sending services to the wrong address then tell me it is resolved and cancel all requests for this issue becuase "they left a note" (at the wrong address because of subdivided land leading gps to the wrong location - service didnt even borher to call my number)

Lady at housing told me to climb into the celing and spray it myself after i told them im disabled then hung up on me whej i tomd her the lack of sleep is making me suicidal and was literally BEGGING CRYING to send someone to spray the property.

Giving star for that one worker who is super nice and actually wants to help

If possible I would give negative score. Whoever people they put into the house has got disruptive behavior i.e. Fighting, Yelling including swearings, littering around the area, hooning their cars if they have one, drunks or maybe drugs, I dont know. And why they always choose to fight in the midnight on the street? Called & Email them? Sure did, either they are very rude on their reply or no reply at all. Whoever bought a house around their property is a curse. Please do something about it, all we ask for is a safe harmony environment to live in, not sure if that is too much to ask for.

Horrible branch of the department. Just a big group of liars. They should all be replaced. Not 1 person at Mirrabooka should be there.

It's not right the albanese government is going to give dissability pensioners a pay rise on the 20th of march 2023 and then the government housing takes it back your pathetic homeswest!

I called up to make an enquiry about my case, which had been lodged at the Wellington st office, after waiting for weeks for my case officer to return my call. They transferred me to Mirrabooka.waited on hold, Mirrabooka told me I needed to call Wellington st. I explained that Wellington st had transferred me to them. The receptionist then transferred me to someone else, who transferred me again, to end up on voicemail. If you’re counting, that’s 4 transfers. This was a few weeks ago and no one has returned my call.

Long term issues with community housing tenants who have been damaging my property and threatening me (several arrests have been made for DV and assaulting their fellow tenant) however “this does not meet their disruptive behaviour criteria". When I questioned what did meet their criteria they danced around the subject and gave me some sort of scripted bureaucratic nonsense. Maybe when they take it too far someday it will become a priority for you guys. Shame on you.

Understaffed, redundant and huge waste of time, for such a modern building youd assume they have more than 4 workers.workers also speak to non-english speakers like they are literal children.unpleasant experiences the four times ive had to come here with no help.

Hello to both Homeswest and the Salvation Army for my home. I'm not a complainer yet I was told at my first contact with my mediator that no home was to be painted every 4 years and repairs to be done. I v was told that I could buy my unit after 2 years, but then I was told, no we don't do that any more even though I was working part-time. I'm confused and lost I have no other option. J see other people around the conerv6wut 12 people living in a 3 bedroom, the husband has 2 taxis and the wife is running a child care out the homrwest building. Why can they do this when I was told th.at I had to leave my job because I was earning $48 above the threshold. It's not right and you are stopping people from growing. C a n you or my local MLP give me a legitimate reason, because I was born her. I've paid taxes, and these Ipeoole are truly ripping off the system. Thankyou David

Ongoing issue with a community housing tenant who has been damaging property and threatening to attack residents for months (as well as having been arrested by police on several occasions for physically assaulting a resident) which the Dept of Communities states "does not meet their disruptive behaviour criteria" and when asked what DOES meet their criteria they will not give any specific information. Maybe he'll succeed next time he tries running someone over and they'll do something about it, but probably not.

I was greeted by a friendly receptionist who directed me to applications staff member Marella.
She spoke to me with the utmost respect & gave me the information I was asking for.
She took the time to listen & it felt like she cared. The call was short & informative.

Staff are rude, unhelpful, talk to each other about their shoes and what they did on the weekend. Wait times are more than 1 hour.

Fairly quick if you get in early
Security are nice people and usually no problems with nice staff
