Denmark Rivermouth Caravan Park

An unpowered campsite with one small tent & two people costs a whopping $70 for a night.

We camped, nice shady spot beautiful outlook. Clean facilities, great camp kitchen. Activities and Cafe on-site, short walk to town and so many beautiful beaches to visit.

Great stay,
Bathrooms were really nice, the location was perfect for us. Rose at reception was really lovely, she got us in last minute after hours which we appreciated and also directed us on what tourist sites to check out in the area.
Definitely recommend!

Grew up in Denmark. So to take my son there some 20yts after moving away I could take him and my gorgeous wife Margot too. To.enjoy the trees river and surf love guys

Really great spot to stop and refuel. Good kitchen, good laundry & showers, nice & hot.

Looks fine, but we chose not to stay;

60$/night for an unpowered site (small tent) ? Nope.

Leanne was very unwelcoming and rude. Was walking to meet up with my mum to head to the beach whilst a lady yells at me asking what site number I was on. As my Fiancé had booked it I could not remember exactly what site number it was but I pointed in the direction. She did not offer to walk with me back to the site so I could show her, also did not ask for any booking details, instead she harassed me and made me feel trapped whilst I desperately tried to get through to my fiancé on the phone to ask him for the site number, my phone kept cutting out and she stood there making me feel like a criminal. As the park is so busy at this time of the year I feel as though I was picked on for my appearance or the colour of my skin.

Leanne could have asked in a nicer tone or asked to walk with me back to my site so I could show her instead of standing there and harassing me!

Gorgeous location. Staff are lovely and welcoming. Awesome campers kitchen, bathroom facilities clean and tidy.

Don't go there if you have a tent. Very unfriendly towards tent campers. Completely overpriced as well compared to other campgrounds in the area. Amenities are ok, although plenty of large empty space with nowhere to hang or put your stuff.
Rude staff at reception and at the cafe. Do not recommend.

Very friendly & helpful reception staff. Park is well presented, good play area for children. Cafe on premises open daily at 8am.
Amenities, tidy, good hot showers.
Wifi available. Nice walks from park. Denmark is lovely.

I have recently stayed at Rivermouth caravan park for 2 nights with my 2 friends and although we had accidentally booked incorrectly they ended up making us purchase two whole sites for the three of us. I felt as though we were being judged and used for money. We had only budgeted around $100 but ended having to pay $90 more than we initially paid ($90). The ladies at reception lied to us about the sites not being big enough for the three of us and made us get a whole extra just for one extra person. I feel violated as this was extremely overpriced!

Noel, Rose and Paul went above and beyond to help for fill my Dads wishes.
The accommodation was comfortable and clean, we all enjoyed our short stay at the park, do yourself a favour and stay here when your in Denmark you will not regret it, the staff are welcoming and very helpful

Quiet caravan park close to the water. Bathroom was impeccably clean. Good camp kitchen with plenty of seating. Not many cooking utensils, so I'd recommend you bring your own. Clothes line right outside the laundry facilities for drying. Campsite was well sized, good for a tent and one car. Stayed for one night and it was great. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Very friendly front desk, excellent cabin and just a top little spot to explore Denmark and surrounds from.

Toilets need updating. Always stinks. Asbestos bathrooms. One tiny washing machine working for whole park. Over priced

Very nice park and good location and water activities. Showers were clean and new.but could not regulate. It was either cold or scaulding hot. DANGEROUS! Child could get easily burnt. I had to jump out of the scalding shower.

Good size studio rooms. Good location. WiFi a little iffy. TV stations weren't particularly good - we had to go into town (15 minute walk) to watch the footy. Denmark a very pretty town to visit.

Stayed here for three nights and absolutely loved it. They are so kind and helpful and so happy to have guests come. My child hurt her finger 10 mins before the boat cruise so we had to cancel last night. Not only were they really nice and understanding. They made sure my 2 yr old got a ride on the boat and even stayed back to cook us dinner.
They are a family run business and honestly the nicest service I have ever experienced. Would 100% recommend
