Dawson's Garden World reviews
54Loved it! So much variety of plants. Had exactly what we came for! Staff are very friendly with great advice! All plants look very healthy. Will absolutely go again!
A nursery is only as good as its word and Dawsons sold me the wrong type of seaside daisy when I specifically asked for the running variety. 20 wrong plants. Never again!
Fabulous! I first went in because I needed help with my weed infested lawn, and a friend recommended that I would go and speak to Dereck. Dereck is a star! A very knowledgeable, honesty man. He gave me some great advice, clearly putting his opinion above any selling factor. Besides that, the shop also has a wide range of plants and products. You guys have just won a customer, thank you!
Great place for new garden inspiration and they have some discounts for Roses happening now
The staff were really friendly and they have a good range of plants but they didn't have many outdoor pots.
Thanks only to Marilene as she took the time and interest to look for our ordered plant.
Always great place to roam around in bought some good hibiscus and roses a pity they don't have a Cafe like forrestfield
Went with a friend who said it was a great place for healthy plants, correct, good range of plants all healthy. If your into roses, they have a great range. Very knowledgeable staff who sorted a few of my problems and I knew they were honest about it, and no hard sell of things you don’t want/ need. Worth the trip.
I very much love this place! Friendly experienced staff that have time to talk to you. But a couple of times I’ve dealt with a young lady she was understandably busy but a bit careless putting a couple of plants in my trolley and very short sharp spoken.
I too have worked in very busy retail places but I always have served customers in a kind and friendly manner. That simple act can make people want to come back.
I only write this to keep your amazing business on the ball.
I went on Saturday to Dawson’ garden World, I needed some advice about which plants would be best for my new garden, and I had an older lady to help me with it. She was so helpful, and she had amazing knowledge about plants.
In general, the staff from this shop was quite friendly. This shop is a bit pricey, but it has a good quality of plants.
On the pricier side but plants are definitely healthy and nicer than bunnings. Good range of fruiting and flowering plants.
After spending 5 minutes waiting for 2 chatting staff members to acknowledge my existence I asked where a certain plant was and got told outside.
In case you have forgotten it’s called customer service and it’s what you get paid to do….
I will buy my plants elsewhere. Silly me I should have remembered that is why we do not come here.
Been shopping at Dawsons for - OMG! - half a century! Here - Swanbourne - at their base at Forrestfield. Family owned & operated, with a love of gardening. Great range of plants and other garden needs.
An excellent garden centre. The quality and variety of the plants is second to none. Great staff that really know their plants and what is needed to keep them healthy with good results. Not usually very busy and there is plenty of parking available out the front so you don't have to walk too far.
The staff are all very knowledgeable and helpful. A good variety of plants for a relatively small nursery. Always an excellent array of flower and vegetable seedlings. Plus a great loyalty rewards program.
Outstanding helpful service today from Marilyn who helped me find the pink " Butterfly Bush " flowers and
" Seaside Daisy "
The girl on the til asked her to find me and help me. Two great staff members. This is why I love Dawsons.

Very good service & friendly & helpful staff makes a pleasant change to the average shop one normally visits.also a good range of plants & seedlings are available.
Knowledgeable staff.
Obliging staff.
Selection seems a bit limited at times. Maybe I visit too often!
The guy who served me was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and patient with my gardening needs. Always recommended for anyone needing extra help or advice about anything gardening.
I did not find Dawsons to be a stand out in the gardening department other than its entry being a hidden gem. I was looking forward to finding a fairy's home within the lush creepers surrounding the car park but found it to be a bit boring upon entry. They have an assortment of plants but without any standout features. No particular items to draw the customers attention. The staff are knowledgeable of their products, which is very important, but I found it to be a shop requiring a facelift to attract customers to its premises.
