I still can’t believe what just happened. We had a group of about 30 attend for a bday celebration. Got there as per the booking at opening at 12. Ordered the food within 15 mins, so about 12.15 (one of the first to order). I ordered a Hawaiian Parmi with extra sauce, wife had Dardi pizza and son nachos. The tall male with glasses who took the order was really friendly and helpful.
Orders for everyone started coming out and an older female had no idea which tables ordered what.
I was served just a bowl of extra sauce (see image) with no parmi. After numerous enquires as to my meal, because everyone who ordered over an hour after me had been served, my parmi came out at 2.17 (see image) 2 hours after being ordered. When it was delivered the server said it had the Extra sauce on it. It actually looked like any sauce had actually been scraped off and taken away not extra added (see image).
By then people couldn’t wait any longer so the bday cake was brought out so I gave up on the parmi having had 2 bites (I can only assume the extra sauce they gave me almost 2 hours prior was meant for my parmi despite it now being totally cold and not ideal).
I felt bad for the tall male server with glasses who did everything to fix up the constant stuff ups by the other staff especially the miserable older female.

Worth the detour on the way to Margaret River for lunch or dinner. When the new ring road finally opens, it will only be a couple of kilometres off the road and therefore definitely worth the detour. Live bands on Sunday afternoons in the beer garden make it a very relaxing way to pass the day.

Delicious! I’m from QLD - MACKAY visiting family in Capel, We dined in with 4 adults, 2 teenagers & one toddler. All meals were 100 percent satisfying. It is always wonderful when you head out for dinner and everybody at the table is full and satisfied. Food come out quickly and service was fantastic. Small park and sand for the kids which is great. Even though there was space for dining inside, we dined outside which was beautiful, but could use a few more lights around. I’ll definitely be back when visiting next time.

Don't go near the steak!
For a country pub in cattle country, the steak you served me last weekend was an overpriced embarrassment. I ordered the medium-rare Scotch Fillet, but you replaced it with a Sirloin and charged the same exorbitant price. The meat was thin and uneven, rancid-tasting and well-done.
Dear Dardanup Tavern Management, your Pub was clean and pleasant, but you need to take serious accountability for the poor quality of your fare!
Please change your game and showcase the best steak in the region. Once you've done that, let me know and I would be happy to visit again.

Company Xmas event. Awsome food great service and atmosphere. Highly recommended to give it a go

Aiden is the man in making your cosmopolitans. 5/5 for talent and service. Always a pleasure seeing him.

Food was good but my husband is in a wheelchair and you don't have any disable toilets. We were told owner wouldn't put them in. If you were to put in self composting toilets in. Atleast we wouldn't have to leave straight after lunch, so my husband could go to the toilet.

Visited on Sunday last week for dinner. The food was great. Big portions. Good quality. Good service. Had fish and chips, chicken parmigiana and ribs. My compliments to the shef.

2nd visit to The Dardy. Has a variety of different Parmi's. I tried the Aussie Parmi. It had eggs, bacon and mushrooms. Very tasty. Mrs had a chicken burger, which was more than she could eat. Steak burger looked amazing, will try that next time.

Vic.visitor hoping there'd be a nice place to have a pub meal. It was great, really friendly staff, bit of pub history around & meals were delicious. Great selection of parma's (can't bring myself to say parmi's).

What has happened to the parmys here?
Used to be the best parmys around but for the last 2 times I've visited they have been terrible. And still listed for $31.

I went here with the family for lunch and was not overly impressed. We had to wait a very long time for our meals despite not being busy, food was ok but nothing to rave about and then we decided to have dessert and at $15 for a brownie with a tiny amount of icecream and cream seems over the top and even more annoying was the apparent lack of air conditioning. I feel no need to ever want to return here but will say staff are very friendly.

Stopped in for lunch. 1: 15pm. Approx 12 people in the pub and beer garden. Spotted the sign behind the bar asking for patience when ordering a meal. "We are not fast food".
So respecting this request, and having 90 minutes to eat and then drive I didn't hassle the staff.
Salt n Pepper Squid Salad. Yum.
20 mins passes.

After 50 minutes I enquire.
Well, ticket has been lost. And we will start the process again.
Really? Maximum of 10 meals ordered at the time. I left very hungry
Fair play (and right) they refunded the meal.
Manager was apologetic - but didn't actually show himself. (He took the order)
I'll give them one more shot as it's halfway between home and a favourite camping spot.
C'mon rural WA. Pick up ya game.

Food was very good. Service was very good drinks so cool and yummy thanks very much will call again soon

Great pub, food is good to, nice beer garden, just like the old days, been going here for 40 years

Amazing dining experience, just stopping through the town and hands down one of the best chicken parmis my partner or i have ever had. Will defo be making this a regular lunch stop on trips down south

Hadn't been here before. FYI- kitchen closes at 2. Missed out on a late lunch.
The mad dog in the beer garden wanted blood from our cruisy dog. Didn't stay. Shame.

We wanted a good country pub lunch after after an active morning with the kids in Donnybrook. Dardanup Tavern was a 20 minute drive, heading back to Perth, towards Forest Highway and it fit the bill beautifully.

The place is clean and tidy inside and out, including the toilets. The staff friendliness and attitude was fantastic, couldn't faulty them at all.

The food was also amazing, there award of best chicken parmi in the southwest is well deserved, it was great! Wife was also very happy with her pumpkin salad. Drinks poured properly, best lemon lime and bitters I've had in yonks.

Well done to the owners, workers and committee members on running a fantastic country pub.

Amazing food and great value for money. Had the amazing Aussie parmi and we'll definitely be back next time for a different type of parmi.
