Darch Fish & Chips

I have been going to Darch Fish n Chips for years, always fresh fish and the chips great and with a nice side salad they never fail to produce great a meal for my family from a wonderful family buisness also the two young men on the front counter they do a excellent job dealing with customers any business would be proud have them presenting the company thanks to their wonderful parents, would be proud give them 5 stars

Ordered fish and chips - the fish fillets had a crunchy, golden exterior that were battered to perfection and the chips were plumped with mashed potato, encased in a crispy shell. I would like to thank the loyal and diligent staff for their commitment to customer satisfaction.

This has become the main place that I come to for fish & chips even though it isn't exactly local for me. I have found the staff to be very helpful and friendly with a good deal of honesty on how long the wait will be when they're busy. The food is always hot and fresh, unlike other places that are more local for me. I think the fact that I'm prepared to travel to get here really says it all.

We were happy to finally eat proper fish and chips since moving into the area!
The team were very friendly and welcoming.
We had ordered the seafood baskets, onion and squid rings, and a fish & chip pack.
The food was fresh, lightly salted, the batter light and crispy and excellent portions!
Wait time was fast too - can't recall as I was overtired at the time of ordering.
Happily fed my family of 6.
We will definitely be returning:)

Wouldn’t rave about it, grilled fish was dry, battered fish was greasy. Chips were overcooked in old oil. Asked for extra salt and got none. So overpriced it’s ridiculous. Wouldn’t recommend and won’t go back. Only decent thing was the overpriced salad.

Amazing customer service. Unfortunately a drunk patron took my order they were amazing dealing with it and made me comfortable also in that situation

Tonight we had local snapper and Pearl perch and have to say it was beautiful. Large serves and great quality. Very tasty thank you.

Tonight I ordered our usual feed of an hawian pack and fisherman's basket both with 2 dim Sims. When I get home and unwrap it all I get fish and chips minus banana and pineapple fritter and the fisherman's basket only had a couple of squid rings with fish and chips, there's 5 people in this place cooking and putting orders together so there is no excuse for not getting the order right

I'm from NZ so finding an amazing fish & chip shop like Darch has been awesome & although we have moved out of the area my husband & I still drive 20 mins to come buy the seafood pack & other food as well we will definitely still come & eat the delicious Kai (food) A+

Really good fish and value for money. I always get abit more then I pay for, and not as greasy as other fish and chip stores. I have never walked away unsatisfied
