Beautiful cafe in the heart of freo. Awesome vibe. We tried the spiced rosemary potato and the avocado mash.eggs were perfectly cooked.

We ordered coffee and food at the counter, but apparently the kitchen didn’t receive our order correctly, and we waited for over 40 minutes without anyone checking on us.

Coffee was good however. The staff was apologetic and refunded the whole order as we had to leave. Hopefully it’s just a once off mistake.

For a about few months we never visited this cafe (see feedback written a while back below).

Today we had breakfast, we ordered Chai Latte and Cappuccino and French Toast. We actually loved it. The service has certainly improved.

I hope they do continue to thrive and start to open for dinner. We need local eatery that we can be proud of.

I miss going to D'Angelo for dinners. The service and meals at night time are way better. The chef was very creative. Pizzas and pastas were fresh and we keep on coming back for dinner.

If only service were the same for morning and lunch.

For breakfast and lunch they are obviously struggling as coffee's and other orders are usually late. We even ordered salad at one time with real live centipede. We returned it. They apologised but not even offer of refund or preparing alternative salad.

They used to be really good. I wish they live up to their reputation. Some staff looked unhappy as well.

Overall, D'Angelo used to be amazing! Five star for everything. Sadly things haven't been the same. I hope they will go back to the way it used to be. Vibrant vibe, consistent and top service, amazing meals and timely service. The name D'Angelo is part of Fremantle. I hope they will revamp and just make it on top again. Bring back the authentic dinners. Keep service and menu amazing for breakfasts and lunches.

Food was absolutely delicious! Servings were well priced for the size, and the chicken was super juicy and yum
Coffee was ok, about average for Perth cafes.
Great atmosphere and cool aesthetic.

A very long wait for food (30-40mins). But only one person working in kitchen. We were in no rush although we were hungry. When food came out it was very tasty. We had apple juice, orange juice, eggs on toast (scrambled eggs were a little runny), avo and feta, and potato Rosti.

I have a long drive to work at Freo, and best reward for the drive is getting my morning coffee at D'Angelos. The coffee is always great, the staff are always lovely, always happy, and I think that makes the customers feel happy too. Best part of my day!

We had the chicken caesar wrap and spicy chicken wrap. Both were good, but the fries were especially good.

D'Angelo Café is yet another one of those confused attempts at distinction, and with its total absence of hospitality and atmosphere, it invariably comes across as little more than a community service that sadly mistakes itself for a permanent institution. It was pretty clear that Chad the Bro in his t-shirt from Kmart felt the sharp sting of his social reality when I sauntered in all dressed to advantage and debonair. Son, the next time you experience the threat of being in the presence of a gentleman, instead of making a heroic effort to be impolite and behaving like a snarling, territorial lower mammal, do the mature thing and just accept that your disadvantages are your responsibility - not anybody else's.

Ordered a blueberry muffin and an extra hot Mocca and paid for it. Staff gave me a cupcake, I told her that I ordered a blueberry muffin, she then charged me an extra $1.5 as the difference, when I got my Mocca, it turned out to be a luke warm Hot Chocolate

Decent coffee and food and it's a nice spot. Always slow, perhaps the slowest takeaway coffee in Freo. Also never clear where to stand and order.

Enjoyed breakfast AND lunch here over a few days.
Soup and garlic bread was delicious!
At breakfast, bacon was cooked to each person’s preference.
Pleasant staff and cool art on the walls…

Very grumpy staff, short with me and other customers, borderline rude. Not a great way to start the day. Coffee ok
