The classes I have attended (West Cost Swing and Argentine Tango) are always enjoyable, very friendly atmosphere and lots of smiles during each lesson attended.
From beginners to advanced social dancers, Amanda is very skilled in teaching her students the dance movements and techniques to make them feel comfortable so they can feel the enjoyment on a dance floor.

Both Amanda's are fantastic at what they do, and the teaching style makes learning the moves not difficult at all. Being someone who has two left feet and can get the steps down, it definitely means that anyone can learn!

Dance Amanda was the first person to really help me get a grasp of West Coast Swing and Tango. I’m very particular about who I chose to teach me. Amanda is one of the few that I would strongly recommend in Perth to people starting out who want the foundations of a dance or to tweak already possessed skills. I find that her classes are consistent in quality, they don't resort to distraction, or gimmicks. Her instruction is concise and built on a strong foundation of experience, correctional methods and tailored to reinforce good dance habits from the get go.

She has over 20 years dance experience, both in Australia and overseas, which is reflected in her attention to detail and focus on correct technique. Her lessons range from beginners to advanced and she is able to give each student in her classes individual guidance, whatever their level, or what the focus of their dancing is.

Amanda is an excellent teacher, always positive and encouraging when explaining and correcting. Her classes are safe and fun.
The beginner West Coast Swing classes provide a foundation of basic steps and variations to make social dancing interesting, with just enough technique to get the right feel. I have not forgotten any of the basic steps I learned in those classes years ago.
I recommend Dance Amanda's West Coast Swing classes if you want to get social dancing quickly, and are less interested in learning technique (although Amanda still teaches some technique during class to make your dance fun for you and your partner). Amanda also teaches more advanced concepts and performance dancing if you want to take your dancing to a higher level.

Amanda's classes are great fun, she has a bubbly non judgemental teaching style. Gently suggest improvements. Teaches steps that are socially useful and achievable. Highly recommended for beginners and more advanced dancers.
