I normally love this place but last week I bought a carton of slosengold from the joondalup store. Took it all the way home to find one of the six packs had 2 empty cans in it and the carton soaked. Went all the way back and all I got was "go get another pack" no "sorry for the inconvenience" or you can get a discount or keep the other four cans for your trouble. Very disappointing.
Always have whatever I want, whenever I want, that many other liquor stores don't stock. Good prices too
I bought vodka cruisers and when I drank from the pineapple cruiser I had a seashell fall into my mouth but I haven’t been to the beach in awhile so I assume the vodka cruiser had a seashell in it so be careful!
Security guard was rude and doesn’t understand the liquor laws correctly. Refused entry despite providing a valid Australian drivers licence claiming it was a foreign licence. Might need to get your staff to brush up on their RSA knowledge.
I love Dan Murphys, they always have everything I want and the staff are always so helpful and friendly.

Today i had a very bad experience at your joondalup store. One of the team member got frustrated when i requested to show the drink at the counter. Team member was continuously mentioning that the bottle which i am requesting is of high cost (i am not sure why she have to bother about that). I am going to pay for that. I was in store around 8: 40 pm.
If the team want to leave early, let the customers know that they don’t want to serve instead of showing frustration upfront

Staff member was very helpful suggesting a Hard Chard after my explanation of what I was looking for. She did not disappoint me with this recommendation. Loved it!
The service is always excellent and the ability to order online and then have it brought to your car. I did get a surprise at being asked for my vaccination certificate given that I didn't leave the car seems somewhat ridiculous.
Went to get direct to boot service at Dan Murphy Joondalup and I followed instructions according to email I have received (contactless service).
A store employee came out to check my drivers license as proof of ID. He did not look long and tapped my car window to open it. He asked for proof of vaccination status (I do not have vaccination due to personal choice)
He then explained that proof of vaccination is required in order for me to receive the goods I have already paid for. I told him I cannot prove that I have it and would like a refund but told him there was nothing stating about it on my email (I checked because I know there is a mandate hence using direct to boot service first time). He said no worries and he will get a refuns sorted right away.
I was fine with his explanation but requested that something be said on the dan murphy online service that proof of vaccination required for contactless direct to boot service (I understand for anything instore because mandates state this but quite surprised for contactless service).
I just found out that my refund was processed 2 days after I have been there and I need to wait 2-3 business days to receive funds. What an unpleasant experience for me, I guess I will have to start a micro brewery to get my beer now. End the mandates and end the medical discrimination for crying out loud. It makes no sense at all.
I give this rating as the company isn’t standing up for me as one of it customers and demanding that the government don’t use them as pawns to forcibly medicate individuals
Staff were friendly and very knowledgeable. Range was adequate but a few lines already our of stock before Christmas
Ordered delivery service of a case of Jack Daniels cans (2x10 packs) on the 13th of November 2021.1x10pack arrived apon delivery. Tried to ring the 1300 number for a help desk to be told they are too busy to talk to anyone and to contact the online help desk person. Contacted the online help desk person and told them my story for them to tell me that they would issue a refund. 13 days later nothing has happen.got in contact with another online help desk person, told them the story again. They told me that on there end it had been delived in full and could not help me any further and questioned why I left it so late. I told them I got in contact with someone else and they offered a refund but nothing happen. She obviously did not have access to the log and told me to check my invoice as it stated it was fully delivered. I normally don't complain about these sorts of things, but this is a joke. I've ordered $1000's of dollars worth of alcohol at my local dan Murphy's and it's been pleasant up till now. I'll never get alcohol delivered again from this broken service. I'd advise anyone that is short changed with an online order to go to the dan Murphy's branch that it got delivered from and complain there. The phone service non-existent, online help desk service.not helpful at all.they just check to see if it's been delivered and don't care about you after that. No matter what. What a joke!
Great shop, well set up and stocked. Really nice helpful staff. Easy parking at back with rear access.
I went there and there was a staff member called Wendy on I asked for price matching with BWS then I showed my Dan Murphy card and there was more discount come off again and she wouldn't let me pay you said there must be something wrong with the system she called the manager and they stood there for about 10 minutes trying to work out what they're going to do eventually they gave it to me at the discount it was atrocious customer service
I have once had a Staff member try to steal money by deliberately giving less change ($10) in the hope I would not notice. Brought to the companies attention, they did not care. Also have been sworn at by the forklift driver at the back of the store for passing by as a pedestrian? I would rather travel the further distance to the Carine store than be abused by their staff for no reason. The old lady at the counter even called my vocation "Sh*t" as she felt my income method was not up to her standards. I would give NO stars if the system allowed it.
The staff are friendly and professional, wide variety of stock and a pleasure to shop here. I miss the Berri Estates rose wine though. We always purchased the 5 litre Berri Box. What happened?

Manager here has no sense of culture is out of touch with the community. Hiring aggressive security staff who think they are above the police. Greeted as if you are a criminal and treated unfairly if you walk in with a mate who forgets his ID. You let kids walk in to your store and serve the parents but if you look under age its totally the other way. Backwards business.
A very big range to choose from and if you are a member sometimes they have member only special and very competitive on price.
