Dan Murphy's Carine

This is my first ever bad review! After travelling all the way from the city to come to this store hoping for a great price on drinks with 2 other friends all over the age of 25. We were immediately stopped and were refused entry by a security guard standing just at the front of the entrance as my ID had expired 2 days ago and therefore all of us as a group were refused entry. This is completely understandable, however a bit harsh. Whilst discussing the matter with the security guard he was being extremely rude whilst giving me a cheeky grin to all my unanswered questions. Meanwhile younger people walked straight past us not being stopped. I definitely found this extremely rude and singled out. If you you are someone who likes to be greeted with good customer service, DO NOT go to this store. This store is by far the worst for customer service I have ever witnessed. However, other Dan Murphy stores excluding the Carine one are more welcoming and would handle an issue like this with manners and politeness on rejecting entry.

This is a really nice Dan's. They also always have a great selection on hand and they regularly have sample tastings which is great.

Not the best one of the best Dan Murphy store i have visited, shelves were empty from members specials. Bit lower to usual Dan Murphy's standards.

Decent selection of beer but not so much on the imported side, friendly and verry helpful staff! Will defenitly go again! Also! Club prices are amazing!

Nice, helpful staff, well set out, wine tasting on some days. Dans has great Member special offers.

A while ago I was walking out of here and a couple recognised a bike that was parked out the front. They waited for the person to come out and confronted him and stated that the bike was theirs. He agreed and gave it back. How cool is that!? They got a delicious beverage and their bike back! Such a feel-good story. Thanks Dan Murphys.

Good size liquor store with a decent selection of beers, wines, and spirits.
I like the international section as I am always on the look out for interesting wines from overseas.
The bin ends are a good place to rummage around and pick up a bargain or two.

Didn’t realise the store shuts at 8pm on Saturdays and the nice man still let me in to grab something even though it was 15 mins past closing! A great experience for my first time shopping here

Beware the price rip off - Prices on the shelf label but they ring up higher at tills when you go to pay. Checkout person looked embarrased when questioned about this but its Dan's policy to overcharge customers when he can get away with it.

Initially I was put off by the crazy parking situation at the front of the store, but I eventually figured out you can park at the back avoiding the bottleneck, and walk down the loooooong corridor to the store entrance. As far as DM stores go, this one is not too bad. The staff are friendly and helpful. Points lost for having all the premium spirits under lock and key, and for not stocking the full DM range of craft beer. This store also does not seem to have the $5 wine bin found at other DM stores.

Received very poor customer service from a blonde lady today, please improve it's your customers that support you?

I'm from the Hills area, dad lives in Trigg and isn't able to drive anymore so picked him up and took him to the bottle shop.

WOWEE. I was blown away on the size of the place.

And the girl who helped us on the floor was terrific

It's great to have a Dan Murphy in the Northern suburbs.

The place holds up to it's great design. Easy to find what you're looking for, great prices and plenty of parking.

There is a large carpark at the rear with a door at the back with a corrodoor to the entrance.
