Poor service! Racist! With the staff checking our IDs after the security had already checked it on entry and then they put our details in their system giving an unusual reason for this. To make matters worse they didn’t check the people that came after us!

Been to a lot of Dan Murphys never seen such behavior! Imagine an old guy like myself with grey hair and they claim i look like I’m under 25.

Definitely telling everyone never to go to this store! Unpleasant experience overall!

Wish I had gotten the names of the employees there! Gotta name and shame!

We were able to find all products we went to look for, at a competitive price, or better products!

Todays my birthday and I just turned 18 so I thought I’ll buy some alcohol to celebrate my birthday but I didn’t expect how amazing my day would be just by walking in thanks dan for best service and present

Beware of Damien, the guy will only ask for your ID if you look like foreigner Even if you got your ID on you, he will decided not to sell it to you because one of my friends doesn't have one physically on her. They should stop us entered the place so we won't have to waste our time shopping for liquor.

I visited your store with my wife and parents who were visiting from out of the country. We were excited to explore your establishment and make some purchases. However, our entire experience was ruined when Damien abruptly demanded at the end of our shopping trip that we could not proceed with our purchases because I did not have my identification on me while everyone else had theirs.
I must emphasize that all members of our party were well above the legal age of 30, and our parents, who are in their 60s, also had their identification with them. It was disheartening and bewildering to have gone through the store for a substantial amount of time, browsing and selecting items, only to be informed of this policy at the very end. This inconvenience not only wasted our time but also left us feeling embarrassed and humiliated as customers and members of Dan Murphy.

After dealing with several online ‘help’ staff over the last 24 hours without actually fixing my delivery issue, it was lovely to get a call from Eilish, ‘I’m sorry if I have spelt that incorrectly’ who apologised for sending the wrong item and offered to fix the mistake there and then.

Shelves and isles were fully stocked. Had a ball searching for what we needed. Staff were very helpful

We go to the Beckenham Dan Murphy as our regular store. Many years now. Went today Wednesday 9th November at 1830 and we were disgusted by the behaviour the female serving at the checkout. An Asian female who could not speak very good English spent about $300 on alcohol. She was a member. When the female serving (Isabella) asked her a question she said politely "Sorry my English is not very good". Isabella then said " You are in Australia you should learn". She then put here receipt onto the box with the drinks and made another comment "good luck learning English". Seriously not good at any time. I tried phoning the store after getting home but cannot call directly.

Only place worthwhile to buy a drop! Great prices, especially if you shop online in advance. I came down at 6pm and barely had to wait in line.

And also to Caitlin, thank you:) Your service was what made this a 5-star review. I could see there was clearly a lot going on and a few things you were helping management juggle, but thank you for being so nice and making it a quick stop for me! That's what makes the difference:)

Used click and collect services and was great. Ready within twenty mins and easy to pick up

Exactly what you expect from Dan Murphys. Wide selection at good prices. I still wish their cider selection was better, but you need to go to boutique bottleshop for that.

The staff was helpful and there are usually a lot of variety of anything so you can have lots of options.

I call to see if you have vb in stock but nobody ever Pick's up, so my question is
WHY HAVE A PHONE NUMBER THAT NOBODY EVER EVER ANSWER'S

First time I went there I asked a person who looked round be a senior staff member where a certain item was; got a grunt and a flick of the hand in the general direction. Next time I decided to do click and collect; same female, same offhand treatment. I felt like I should appogise for being a customer. I'd send my loyalty card back, but it's not worth the postage!

I went to get alcohol and the lady duty manager asked me to show my prove of vaccination which i did showed her and i was waiting for my mate to come so i can pay for his redbull too my mate came to the counter and the lady duty manager asked him to show his prove of vaccination i told her i will pay for alcohol and redbull together and she asked if my mate is vaccinated or not and my mate said do i need to show you my proof of vaccination when i m not buying anything so she told him to leave the shop and he left and then she told me you cant buy the redbull for your mate and i told her i m buying it for myself now and then she refused to serve me and asked me to leave as i did not said anything bad to her i was polite and asked why should i leave she said because i m the manager and i can do whatever i want thats the worst customer service from a manager and i will never shop here again

Scumbag segregationist, apartheid loving store, only go if you like showing your papers and you like fascism and discrimination.

Drinking alcohol is an expensive sport but one that im good at and these guys have all the right stuff
