Dalwallinu The Old Convent Guest House Accommodation reviews
38Friendly service. Great rooms. Off the main road so it could be missed if youre unfamiliar with town.
Greeted by Mandy & Lily, great service & facilities on site, friendly staff. More like a bed & breakfast. Various rooms available. Excuse the photo but had to add, unique bathroom
Definitely worth a visit
I've stayed here many times due to work commitments. I highly recommend it as the place to stay in Dalwallinu. The rooms are always clean and the staff are super helpful. Always willing to help me make my stay easier. They are a wonderful bunch of people
I have been using the old Convent for a few years and return here. Twice a year. Staff are always great. Room always clean and fresh. Much needed after a long day at work. Will keep coming back!
Beautiful place, very modern with a touch of history and country. Rooms are very clean and well looked after. The nightly dinners are very tasty and you get a decent size. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend for those travelling through to have a stop over.
Great place to stay! The young lady that checked us in was amazing! Great PR skills, friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks.
My only complaint is the noise from the truck that passes by the street. Especially if you stayed in the dongas.
A group of nine of us spent 5 days at this amazing place. Owners and staff all made us very welcome and accommodated us in every way they could, including finding wildflowers and historical spots.
The meals were excellent and there were plenty of areas at the accommodation where we could gather.
Dallwalinu and surrounds are a major grain growing area today, but there is also a great deal of history in the area if you wish to avail yourself.
All our group would recommend a stay at this very historical and comfortable Guest House.
1 night stay
Basic room, smallest toilet sink ever
Toilet is minamilist.
Ample parking.
Free basic breakfast.
Please plan for your meals as many stores are closed esp weekends. Hotel can help make reservations at pub nearby.
Comfy, clean and friendly. Had everything we needed. Great place for a stop over. Breaky included. Lovely historical atmosphere. Pretty well kept garden.
A huge & very sincere thankyou to Kirsty & all her awesome staff. The hospitality & friendship you provided to our Avan Caravan Group was second to none. Wonderful lounge room with log fires for our delicious morning tea & again for our quiz night complete with soup & bread rolls.
Could not have been better & again, thankyou.xx
A beautiful place to stop and rest a night or two. Immaculate and clean, comfortable beds, lovely food. Wonderful charm and character
Bed was comfortable. The heater worked (it was freezing). The bathroom is the smallest I have seen in all my travel but it did the trick.
Absolutely amazing service for a last minute booking, Kirsty could not have been more helpful or friendly. Went above and beyond thank you!
What a beautiful place to stay. Beds and pillows are super comfy. I had a room inside at the end near the shared bathroom which I did not mind at all. Felt like it was only me who used it. Queen bed, mini fridge, good size tv and air con in room. Ample parking. Beautiful dinners. Only got to stay 2 nights but I definitely recommend it. Oh and I lost my two way and thankfully they found it n will be posting back to me. Thanks Liz and staff.
A novel accommodation experience. We stayed in the upper floor of the original building.
Stairs would be very daunting for anyone with mobility issues.
Mini golf, pool table and complimentary continental breakfast were all a bonus.
Comfortable bed in clean yet very poky room.
Original building has some stunning features to admire.
Gascilities such as pool and mini golf was enjoyed.
Overall it's full of 'ad on' buildings with no flow.
Coffee was nice. Best coffee in town. Not sure on the decore, we only sat out the back for a meeting
Highly recommend, will be back for sure! Family friendly, great value for money, clean, great staff
Nice place.good clean accommodation.very nice meals would definitely go back there if I'm in the area again
