Dalkeith Veterinary Clinic reviews
14All the staff, both vets and nurses are so nice and always go beyond to provide top standard care for their patients and the anxious owners. We have been coming for years now and currently have 4 animals cared for at Dalkeith Vet
New vet Sophie was friendly and caring on our visit to Dalkeith Vet. Taking time and asking questions to get to know my doggo before distracting him to make his dreaded monthly injection less painful.
Kind, knowledgeable staff who get to know you and your pets! Have trusted my dogs with them for years and they never disappoint. Love their compassion!
Situated on the side of Canning Highway, this gem is perfect for those times when your pet unexpectedly breaks and you find yourself outside of the warranty period and struggling to contact the manufacturer. Specialising in animal surgery it also caters to humans who you would deem to be 'too feral' to be treated at a normal GP.
Outstanding vet, full of competence and compassion. We will never take our furry family anywhere else.
Made an appointment the night before and they were able to fit in our cat for a check up. I would also like to thank Dr Nisha and Emily for being so friendly and professional
Today my puppy of received his first groom, and mind you he’s a Maltese cross Shih Tzu so he’s small. Not only was it an unprofessional haircut, it was unsatisfactory and not up to standard, altogether costing nearly $100!
His eyelashes were cut, the hair around his face was cut unevenly as well as not cleaning around the eyes properly, with the rest of his body hair not being cut thoroughly as well. And yes it was a puppy groom but as Dalkeith Veterinary Clinics statement says, grooming will be done to a high standard and satisfaction which my dog did not receive.
I made a formal complaint, asking if there was a possibility of money back due to customer satisfaction.
EDIT: I have had a chat with the staff from the clinic and we have both come to a mutual agreement and understanding. They have explained that yes grooming is important but the puppies first grooming experience is of more importance so is prioritised. Which is understandable, and they have reimbursed for the cut which I am glad of.
Overall customer service was good and would recommend speaking to staff if ever there is an issue as to get it settled as I have.
Both receptionist and vet were lovely persons to talk to. The vet was very knowledgeable, very clear in her explanations, and my cat was not too stressed.
Dr Claire is the greatest vet! She is super knowledgeable explains everything fully and our little 75kg baby Arnie loves her!
My beloved dog, Angello, had only been under the caring and professional eye of Dr Cameron Murray for about 12 months following some major health set-backs and major surgery. It had taken some time for me to find the right Vet in Perth for our pet, and if things could have been different, I would have come to Dalkeith Vet and to Cameron a lot sooner. Cameron was recommended to me by a vet specialist.
Recently, we sadly lost our beautiful Angello, sooner than we had anticipated and certainly not planned. I could not praise any higher, the responsiveness, level of care and attention, compassion and empathy by Cameron and team at Dalkeith Vet during our time of need. Although the grief following was, and is heartbreaking, we were able to have Angello's final moments in the loving surrounds of his and our home, in a beautiful, peaceful and tranquil space. As Angello's mum, I don't think there would have been anyone else I could have trusted more in that moment than Cameron & the wonderful nurse. My boy was a sensitive loving little soul, and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. I also know on the day of our fur child's passing, the clinic had been very busy and was booked solid; but nothing was too much trouble and all our needs were attended to professionally and in a dignified manner. I'd love to continue to be a client of Cameron's & the team, and hopefully one day we will be back with a new fur addition to our household.
The entire staff at this veterinary clinic are so friendly and helpful and we are very happy to entrust the care of our pets to their clinic which is saying a lot as we have 4 cats and 1 puppy
Excellent practice with lovely caring people. I really appreciated their after calls to see how my dog was after being quite unwell. Sincere thanks to Dalkeith Veterinary Clinic.
All of the Dalkeith Vet staff that my family and I have met over the years have always been caring, professional and attentive. This has been highlighted even more this year when our beautiful beagle developed epilepsy. I must make special mention of Cameron Murray who has been very caring and supportive helping us try and make life easier for our pet. We also have a border collie and a cat and we wouldn't go anywhere else for their care. I highly recommend them for all your pet needs, they are fabulous.
