Curry Palace Indian Restaurant reviews
69I came here for dinner with my family last night. The staff greeted us immediately and were extremely welcoming and friendly. We ordered a lamb rogan josh, chicken curry, palak paneer and a beef vindaloo. The chef was very fast and efficient and the curry was amazing, probably the best Indian we’d ever eaten. The naan bread was beautiful and we even ordered more to take home later on. I 100% recommend this restaurant, it was a perfect environment for my family and I and the food was worth every cent. Will be coming back as soon as I can
Service and atmosphere were great.
The food was not up to the mark.
Ordered salted lassi got salted butter milk.
Had an awesome indian meal and service was great absolutely recommend this to any one who enjoys indian
DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT, DISGUSTING FOOD EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE, YOU GUYS SHOULD SHUT YOUR CURY PALACE
Ordered a chicken korma and vegetarian korma. Both were yellow and bland. Would not order again.
Biriyani rice and onion bhaji was good.
Sorry to be harsh but this was the worse Indian food I ever had. We ordered among other things Butter Chicken and Chicken Korma, they both tasted very similar, no spices just a yuk sweet flavour $90 later I won’t be back.
View was good but as long as it opens during sunlight, menu got few errors, any feedback about food you will get one answer “that’s how we do “ naan was very yummy though. Service was good.
Absolutely delicious. Have been loving this traditional Indian food since it opened and to return to town, 8 years later and experience the same quality taste sensations is such a delight.
Had chilli naan for the first time recently when I dined in and WOW! Incredible. Highly recommend.
The food quantity was good and the flavours were more of a home cooked Indian food. It’s a neat restaurant located about 3km from the RAC Esperance caravan park. I found it a little far away from the town centre specially if your camping and cannot use your car.
They have the worst customer service. Dont admit the mistake. Worst of all they started talking in their local language against a customers back. I know there language so they insult and disrespect customers.
Wont ever go there.
Most disappointing meal ever ordered butter chicken and prawn masla
Butter chicken zero spice tasted more like tomato sauce was disgusting
The prawn masla was bearly spicey rather disappointing.
Zero music so boring atmosphere
Staff at the counter was on her phone most of the time we were in there but polite
Atmospherically not the most Indian of Indian restaurants, but the food we ordered was great and portions were generous. Customer service and preparation could use a touch-up - we had to ask for a water jug and glasses at our reserved table for 3 and had to ask twice for leftovers to be packed. The venue seemed understaffed and this was probably a result of that. Overall, I recommend this restaurant for anyone seeking an Indian dinner in Esperance.
Was a little weary of trying this place as the reviews were a little mixed but we were craving a curry and in Esperance on holiday and didn’t have any other options. The portion sizes were good. Garlic naan was pretty good (they gave you a generous amount) the curry’s seemed a little more runny than creamy but they were still fine. Not amazed but not disappointed either.
Having read the reviews we had reservations about trying this restaurant.
We were very plenty surprised, fantastic curry excellent service.
The waitress was very helpful and very informative of the gluten free dishes.
Thank you for a lovely evening and amazing curry.
We were holidaying in Esperance. Booked here for our girl's birthday dinner. The lady was rude from the time we entered. We were served greasy samosas, she made a fuss about changing a plate. All curries had the same base and were watery, dal makhni was good. Terrible interiors, terrible behaviour, below average food, overly priced. Never going there and will never recommend.
Curry palace has been my go to restaurants during my visit to Esperance. Food is superb and very consistent. Staff is imaging and friendly. It's a nice atmosphere inside as it gives you feel of family run business. As stated food was excellent and specially my best is lamb vindaloo. The restaurant is outside the Esperance city in suburban Area. Really loved it.
We ate there last night, 5 minutes out of town, so nearby, and food was lovely. Owners and staff great. The lamb was so tender. They should ensure that visitors in town know about their tasty food!
I have no idea how people says it is nice. But I am 100% sure this place has a problem of consistency.
Dine in with only two other tables sited inside. We ordered Mango chicken, Buttermilk chicken and Lamb Madras. They supposed to be med/ hot and none of them were barely spicy. Absolutely no interest from the chef or the Waiter to ask about our meals.
Wanted to order Naan but they run out. But than when all the tables left the item reappear again on the menu and we could have it. We order it and it was the only nice thing.
No music played in the restaurant and not a single decoration recalling the theme of the restaurant.
Advice: order take away Naan and go
Came back to Esperance after a year, and came back to this fantastic restaurant, great naan, great curries, great service, highly recommended.
One of the best Indian food I had in Perth.
Really nice food with actual taste of curry and the best were Amritsari Kulcha. I would highly recommend the place to have Indian food at Curry Palace - Esperance
Best food in Town
