I found Shannon after years of working with a medical system that had consistently failed me in response to my various health issues. In three short months, Shannon rectified all of my underlying health issues (after delving deeper to actually find out why I had them.) He has completely changed my life and I have never felt better, both mentally and physically. I'd rate 6 stars if I could!

My journey into seeking an alternative treatment for Ulcerative Colitis (UC) led me to Shannon Burford ND - BSc (multidisc.) BHSc (Nat.) NHAA ARONAH.

Shannon’s careful evaluation, protocol and our strict adherence to his guidance is leading us toward a path of recovery as reflected upon comparing quarterly laboratory data. My usual approach to resolving health conditions is to follow the standard Medicare process of doctor, specialist, and pharmaceutical regimen. However, after reading several peer reviewed white papers regarding the treatment of UC, and though I applaud and respect the professionals within the field, I opted to explore an alternative to the current medicinal “gold standard” of turning off identified markers within the autoimmune system through the lifelong use of pharmaceuticals.

It is important to highlight that every patient may have different results and experiences, and that this review is in no way a rejection or disrespect to well researched medical practices; however, if you are seeking an alternative to the treatment of (UC) through Naturopathy then, (myself) as both a cynical individual and critical thinker, am grateful for being directed to Shannon Burford and appreciate his application of knowledge and experience in working towards restoring my sons health. Started to see Shannon more than 6 Months ago with different health issues - Mental clarity, anxiety and digestive.
Shannon is a very knowledgeable and interesting person to start with, he is kind and very accommodating.
I have gotten my health so much better and I've learned so much from him.

When I started getting sick and went to see my usual GP they told me that I am fine and there is nothing wrong after multiple tries to put me on different types of medication for reflux that actually made me worse and worse and then they said that it must be stress and I should see a psychologist. So I did and they confirmed that my mental health was affected and run by physical health. I once again went back to see my GP to tell them my results and they said you know maybe you are just making it bigger than it is, it is when i understood that i have to go and seek alternative medicine and i was so happy to find shannon, he confirmed that i am not imagining it and explained how it is all connected and what steps we are going to take. After doing some tests we started the journey, and I am very happy and I am feeling such improvement and there is still more work to do.keep in mind that nothing happens overnight and it is a journey! Do not go to this naturopath. Unfortunately I paid for the package upfront which was nearly $2k for 2 months of consultations and testing. I ended up stuck seeing an uneducated, complacent individual who really did not care about improving my health. He even prescribed me herbs which interacted with my current medications! He is now sending out emails spreading misinformation about covid with a clear anti-vax motive. Do you really think this is appropriate Shannon? You’re spreading fear and misinformation in the community by doing this. It is not your place as a naturopath to push your anti-vax views onto the community. I’m sorry but you are the most careless health professional I have ever encountered.

I visited Cura Integrative Medicine in Sept 2021 for some advice on skin therapies, Shannon was very knowledgeable and can now say my problem has been completely resolved, he provided a ton of really useful information about overall general health and would definitely recommend his clinic to anyone looking for natural therapies

Me out to recover my fitness pathway and my health over the last 4 months. I was suffering from a chronic shoulder pain (bursitis) that any physiotherapist could seem to heal. Shannon is excellent, friendly and knowledgeable. I visited him with bad digestive issues and within a few weeks was back on track. One thing I particularly like about him is that while he is a naturopath with an understanding/respect for traditional medicine too. This was important to me. Highly recommend.

Test results were incorrect, then when I got my toxic level results it was via email with no explanation.which I had to ask, was told no you need to do another one to see what toxins you have. Said my thyroid levels were good and to decrease my vitamin D. Just had new tests done by a hormone specialist as I was feeling bad. Thyroid is not good and I had to increase medication and my vitamin D was also done.a lot of money for no real results

Shannon is very knowledgable and experience naturopath. I visited him with digestion, constipation, headache and other health issue and after taking the recommended suppliments and herbs for a few months, I can see improvement in my health. He answered all my questions very patiently and appropriately. I will definitely recommend him.

I have seen Shannon at the end of November for persistent ear infection, immune problems, chronic conditions and so far the natural supplements, herbs have had a great impact on my health.

I am a pharmacist, so it is quite unconventional from a historical point of view to endorse full naturopathy. However the results speak for themselves. When I first saw Shannon, my legs were swollen, and my skin was itchy everywhere. I left a pile of skin cells on his floor after my first. I was bordering on depression from my condition.
