CU@Park Cafe

Fantastic, stopped for breakfast. Service and food all excellent with reasonable prices, highly recommend.

A nice place to stop, but the cook/chef wasn’t there when we arrived in the morning so we couldn’t get breakfast

I can only eat small amounts of food at a time and they kindly let me order a kids pancakes which was greatly appreciated! I only managed half, but they were delicious.

I also got a take away coffee which was also nice.

We called by on the way through to Freo and ordered a muffin, Brekky burger and some coffees.

The service was so friendly and our food and drinks arrived quickly.

We loved our meals and the coffee was also good.

Not to mention the beautiful setting.

This is an exceptional location for a layover en route to Geraldton. The establishment boasts a diverse selection of culinary offerings, and their coffee is of exceptional quality. The surrounding atmosphere is delightful, as there is a park in close proximity that is worth exploring. Additionally, ample parking is available, and the premises are wheelchair accessible.

Having been disappointed at Verge 301 we were hoping for something better, and a look at the menu at CU looked promising. We ordered gf Oceanlover - a surf and turf with local beef. Initially it came out with chips - not gf but the staff member apologised and it was not overly long before replacements arrived. And so tender and delicious was that steak! Yummy sauce! Really good! With an extra big salad to make up for the lack of chips. So many places just leave off stuff, and you pay the same, but these folks were very considerate. It was yummy salad too! Very nice surrounds, and great staff! Thank you!

We had a wonderful day today, came from Perth to meet family half way and it was brilliant. We will definitely be back and would actually drive there for the day now that we know how amazing it is. We had coffee to start with which was lovely, then went across to the awesome park to let the child use up some energy, back there for a yummy lunch and beverage and then across to the grass area / stream for some bike riding fun and seeing the ducklings. My daughter had such a great time and made beautiful memories with her grandparents. Staff were so friendly and funny, just a great day. Thank you CU@Park Cafe, we will see you soon

What a lovely, funcky, arty and relaxing Cafe…
Food (I had the special - Sweet Chilli Mussels, my friends had a Burger and Fish Taco’s) were all really nice. Not super special, however were presented very well and tasted great.
Staff were brilliant - cheerful and helpful.

Staff unfriendly, Savoury muffin dry and takeaway coffee extremely hot, I could not drink it for half and hour. Will not be going back

Food was not good. Server was rude and possibly racist? I don’t know what her deal was but she was perfectly friendly to other diners. But with us she just dumped our orders on the table and we got no other service. There was a vibe of us not being welcome. Either that or we did something on arrival to offend her.

The chocolate drink and coffee are rather terrible but service is fine. We had some desserts but it doesn’t taste fresh and I’m pretty sure there are better option around.

Fantastic food great lunch variety to suit the whole family. Lovely coffee & shakes. Service with a smile.

Staff friendly and service good but quality of steak sandwich for price was less than satisfactory. The steak was full of gristle and fat.

Beautiful, breath taking nature. Nice and friendly atmosphere with good customer service. Food was not good though. Bloody flies every where.

Perfectly hot oat Latte and yummy cake selection with tons of space and views on the park and river!

Dropped by here as we took a wrong turn and ordered some takeaway coffees and while the coffee was great I was so impressed by the way the manager was treating her staff. They were clearly busy with a younger crew on and I really appreciated watching the manager calmly manage her team, always with a compliment and a please and thank you. As someone who's worked in busy hospo jobs it was a lovely to see this!

Stopped for a quick bite to eat, the Butter chicken was recommended by one of the girls that work here, and it was soooo creamy and tasty.

Our coffees were great. Caesar salad and soup were on point. Well done.:) would recommend stoping here

What a wonderful place, so friendly and the food was some of the best we have had in our travels. Also there are gifts galore and for the sweet tooth homemade candies.
Will put this on our revisit list for sure.
