Cue Roadhouse, Australia Post & General Store reviews
29Great roadhouse. Has everything the town doesn't. Great stop off for a coffee and breakfast. The spoon collection in the cafe area is a real show piece.
Normally great meals here but highly disappointed today, stopped in quickly for takeaway toasted ham and cheese sandwiches but for some moronic reason they have added BBQ sauce. I could go into a million other places and order ham and cheese toasties and get just that and not have to worry about sauce being added because I can't eat it, it's a shame that I was already back on the road before I noticed but I shouldn't have had to worry about that because it wasn't what is considered normal to have sauce in a toastie
Great roadhouse, with grocery shop, Auspost, coffee lounge and nice restaurant.
Plenty of accomodations, stayed the second level one, found best view sitting ion the balcony!
Highly recommend to stay!
Very friendly and care people there.
Reception person always smiling
Manternan kind and quickly solve problems.
Have been stopping here for some time now getting meals and coffee and its usually good, but that ends today after having to put up with a rude staff member, why do you hire people like this when you are dealing with the public?
Polite, helpful staff. Reasonably price & quality food
Surprise of the range of usual & unusual store.
I popped in here for bananas and noticed the $15 dinner special of roast beef, roasties and veg for $15. Having been on the road for a while, this looked pretty appealing, both as a meal option and price. Roasts can be a bit hit and miss, some are great, some are dry and the veggies watery. This one was exceptional, one of the best I’ve ever had. We ate in the little diner in the back of the roadhouse. The plate was full to the edges, truckie portions I presume! Meat was beautifully tender with loads of gravy and aside from the roasties, carrots, peas, cauli and pumpkin. They followed it up with a free dessert for mothers day, a baked pudding with custard which was equally delicious. Highly recommended.
Secure parking, clean and comfortable - restaurant is cheaper than the town hotel and pretty good. Accommodation isn't too expensive but to the uninitiated remember you're a long way from the world's most remote capital city.
Good dining facilitiesGood dining facilities withGood dining facilities with notGood dining facilities with not bad foodGood amenities for truck drivers
The accommodation is cosy, clean with all the basics needed. Food was great and in a good portion. Also the car parking facilities were secure. The staffs were friendly and helpful. Good experience.cheers!
Kate and the staff really looked after use when we were stranded there for a couple of days. The food was great, freshly cooked and large portions, real value for money.
The accommodation at the side of the roadhouse was clean and tidy and very secure with secure parking for our vehicles.
Well done gang and especially Kate.
I will be stopping here every time I am passing through.
Friendly and efficient service, if ever in cue or passing through possibly the best value for money gastronomy food can buy as mid to northwest prices go! A special mention of the burgers A1.not forgetting the awesome staff remember visitors its the people that create the experience.
Just dropped in to petrol station what a lovely girl at front counter. And the best fresh toastie. We truck drive and it’s very hard to find a great clean and top service like this
Always loved this place to refuel and get a feed on my long trips and it's got even better now with the accomadation! Comfy and clean rooms to get in a decent sleep before the next leg of my trips.
Fantastic place full of really kind and helpful people! The accommodation is wonderful, clean and maintained. The food is filling and delicious! I highly recommend!
Totally rude and unhelpful. Everything was an effort for the accommodation lady to assist with our booking. Went into pay for our fuel and then she decided to help. Was pointless at that time as we had already made our minds up to continue onto Meekatharra. The people at the Auski Roadhouse Motel were happy to assist us with our booking, cant fault the customer service at Auski, Meekatharra. But the Cue, don’t waist your time.
Great new accommodation at the Cue Roadhouse, a pleasure to stay for a couple of nights while in the historic town. Plenty of character to explore with welcoming locals, a selection of delicious food, and all the supplies you might need for the next step on your journey. And forward looking to the next round of needs for their customers. Well worth it as a stop on your way or a destination in its own right, no wonder the town is so bustling this time of year.
Great budget accommodation. Donga style but clean and quiet. Plenty of hot water and very comfortable bed. Good home cooked meals served in the old workshop converted to a dining room. Best of all very friendly and helpful owners and staff. Will definitely stay there again.
You should be ashamed of yourselves.
$15 for 100g dry shriveled up steak, a bit if onion and sauce in a bun.
Atrocious!
Super friendly staff. I really appreciated the home cooked meal. Super good to be able to grab some essentials from the supermarket part of this store, always something good to reward the kids for sitting nicely on a long journey. We don't stop anywhere else if we can help it.
