Croc's Playcentre Joondalup reviews
28 My three star rating is for the staff, who are friendly and trying their best, also the coffee and food selections (Muffin Break).
Unfortunately the play equipment isn't really great for toddlers and could be cleaner.
The behaviour of other adults is questionable with mums taking coffee into the play areas when it clearly states not to. Also older children in the toddler area playing rough with no adult supervision. Parents leaving the safety gates open (I closed one numerous times as it was left open). Only a few bad eggs, but enough for me to leave earlier than I thought I would.
The staff were too busy at the Cafe to make sure the areas were being used safely and I'm sure how Crocs wants this play centre used
Not safe for under 18 months despite the claims on the website; the babies area is in the middle of everything so bigger kids are jumping through it without looking and staff are not consistent in policing the area to keep it safe. If a baby were sitting right at the edge a bigger kid could easily barrel into them without seeing them.
The baby toys also looked quite dirty and broken, might be okay for bigger ones but not the little babies.
Baby area was disgustingly dirty all between the mats and the toys. Toys were a very sad collection worthy of the bin. Some broken I guess they’re trying to make the most of them! Toddler area is not great either super boring and sad. All of which was dirty too! Yuk.
Organised my sons 5 Th birthday party yesterday!
The disco party doesn’t not anywer look close to the video shared on the website! I would definitely ask you to change it!
There was just two play organised and visit from mr crocs and the package was for 350$ which was definitely not worth! The food includes a lot of choices for a 5 year old!
When I asked to cut down a few the management wasn’t happy too but preferred it to be wasted which is an absolute no to me!
The staff were quiet incompetent and we had 18 adults I notified for but the tables organised just for 6. When I later mentioned there wasn’t anyone to act immediately.
I understand it being busy but not value for the money you pay
Any business which refuses entry due to ANY restrictions is in breach of the Disability Act 1992
I fine if $250.000 for body corporates and a fine of $50.000 to the individual who refused entry. Is tour job worth that? Because your employer will not back you up.
We had our sons 5th birthday party here the other day and cannot recommend the place and staff any more, great attentive service and all well mannered, thought it was great when a very heavily intoxicated man was refused entry for obvious reasons, and the young guy behind the counter dealt with him very accordingly and respectfully, especially for everyone around that had to witness it, to then give us back his attention not bothered. Will be back for sure.
Attended by friend's son's 5th birthday party there, it was a wonderful experience. I went with someone with a disability and the staff were very accommodating of their requirements and assisted us in every way they could. Great venue with an even better customer service, can't recommend it enough.
We have taken our son a few times previously without complaint. Today however was a very different experience. We had our son's birthday party there and wasn't overly impressed. First off we got there and the table wasn't set up, we had to do it ourselves (including me asking a staff member to sweep up remaining food on the floor from the previous day). We went up continually to chase up things such as the cake, plates and spoons. No more party's but ok for playdates.
Nice playcentre, lots for kids of all ages to do. Most of the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the cafe is reasonably priced and good quality. The coin operated ride on cars were a favourite. Could do with a bit more parking during peak times, but plenty of seating inside available.
Note - the baby play area is very small so this won`t be the place for you. Our boys 3 & 5 however loved it. The large playground is one single play area so little one could run around safely with his older brother and I could keep tabs most of the time. Play area clean and even noticed staff vacuuming spots and doing walk throughs during the morning. Muffins were freshly baked. Overall smaller play area compared to others but for me this is still the best one.
Very clean, super friendly staff and great playground for bubs and kids! Love to go there and would definitely recommend it to friends and family.
My almost 2 year olds had a great time.
The baby area is quite small but we ventured into the older areas which was fine on a quiet day with supervision (not if you want to sit and drink coffee and ignore your kids).
The slides were great fun and my kids enjoyed dancing away to the music. We will be back
Recently went to Crocs for our 5yo birthday. Fantastic place. Lovely staff, very clean and nice and bright. Kids had a ball and for the money it was pretty good value. Adults and kids were well fed and the coffee is great!
Honestly biggest mistake.took my 17 month old twins and my 6 year old. There was only the smallest area for babies that was a poor excuse for a play area. I ordered lunch and we have to stop at McDonald's on the way home as we're still hungry. There was only three nuggets in each box and my fish and chips was a small piece of fish in a sea of chips. No salad.
It was also so hard to contain my twins with no appropriate area for them.
Will definitely not be comming back and I will ensure others don't waste there time or money
Celebrated our nieces 5th birthday here & the staff went above & beyond to ensure we had a good day & the party ran smoothly! Will be back again & will definitely recommend our family & friends
We celebrated our daughters 5th birthday today and it was such a great day! We highly recommend the centre, despite it being only new the staff here went beyond and above to cater to all our needs. Thank you to all the lovely staff we all enjoyed a great day:)
Really great place with lots to do, good cafe, friendly staff, clean, free WiFi, safe, and good value for money. Fantastic for under 10s
Seems like a nice place but closed up the hot kitchen a bit too early. Plenty of Play equipment and Party Rooms.
We enjoy coming here. However, it annoys me that food is always removed from tables before it has been finished - especially in light of rules that outside food can not be consumed in the centre. It is clear that we haven’t left yet as other belongings (shoes, bag) are still at the table, so why remove and throw away what I paid for?
This playcentre is very expensive for what it offers. The floors are ridiculously slippery and are a major hazard. Felt sorry for the parents who paid for there toddlers and babies as the area for them is an absolute joke. It was such a small space I could have created that in my lounge room. Most of the space is consumed by chairs and tables and they clearly are relying on people to purchase from the muffin break cafe rather than enjoy the play equipment. All the play equipment is really high for the older kids. So if your kids don’t like heights there won’t be much for them to do.really disappointing.
