Crikey Camper Hire

We have booked from Switzerland and ordered the luxury package and were not disappointed!
Everything worked out wonderfully and the whole team took care of us very warmly!
When we wanted to pick up the caravan, a small defect had to be repaired first. So we don't have to wait, we could take the 4WD and the team booked us a beautiful cabinet at our first stop in Wave-Rock. The next morning at 8.30 Andrew was in Waverock with the caravan and handed it over to us! (That's 5h drive from Perth!) -> Sorry Andrew that you had to leave so early!:)
But, that's what I call first-class service!

We had another problem with the sun blind, because I was too stupid to open it. We described the problem and Andrew visited us at the campsite in Freematle and solved the problem quickly!
This, too, is first-class service!

The 4WD was perfectly equipped for the outback! We had a great fridge in the car, there was radio to inform the roadtrains when overtaking, cruise control and the engine was super powerful.
Since it was a V8 diesel, it was very thirsty. We needed between 20 and 25 litres per 100Km. But I usually drove 95 or 100Km/h.with 80Km/h it would have only used 18 litres!

The caravan was very large and spacious. He was equipped with everything you need for a great holiday. I loved the air conditioning! I didn't find the beds very comfortable because they were fold-out and not in the caravan. You always had the feeling that you were sleeping in the tent. But after a few days you get used to it and sleep well.

All in all a perfect holiday! Thank you for the wonderful time! We'll be back for sure! (Every 10 years we visit Australia)

Last minute Booking and it did not disappoint. Great Value for money, Camper was so comfortable to sleep in and so spacious to move around in. All the equipment that came with the camping trailer i.e water tank, kettle, cutlery was great. Everything we needed was provided. We have been hiring a caravan every year since we sold our camper 5 years ago, and we find this is far more cost effective. The real benefit is the simplicity of picking up and leaving back the van, which has everything included, and the quality reflects they are really well looked after. The staff are really helpful, no-nonsense knowledgeable and practical. This is a great way to keep camping, without the nuisance of storage etc.

This year, 2hrs south of Perth towards Albany, 3pm Saturday afternoon, my Prado engine seized while towing a Crikey camper. I thought the holiday would be delayed a couple of days. I arranged a tow truck to bring us back to Perth, and rang Crikey emergency number to see if I could hire a 4WD. Andrew asked how I was getting my car back, and then suggested I arrange for the tow truck to go to their office at Osborne Pk, and he would open up and put a 4WD on the truck, which then delivered it to me at Bannister. The tow truck took my Prado to the garage in Perth, and we continued to Middleton Beach in Albany.we were only 3.5 hours later than plan. Opening the office Saturday afternoon, no fuss with paperwork, looking for solution to keep us on the road.was just a fantastic service, I cannot speak highly enough of the team at Crikey campers, whose efforts made a big difference for us.

Thank you Crikey for a great ride. All the equipment met our needs and made our holiday very memorable. We got a lot of interest from others checking out our "rig". Lots of things not planned can happen on a trip like ours but we had piece of mind with a professional crew a phone call away and taking the higher insurance option as well. Absolutely sensational. This is the second time we have used Crikey and the vehicle performed superbly and the whole experience was extremely easy and painless.

The additional equipment included things like a satellite phone, very good safety feature for remote travel, car fridge and many other necessary items that we did not have to buy or rent.

At the end of our trip, we had the car cleaned and returned with no fuss.

From the time to booking to the time we dropped the car back to Crikey, the service was second to none! The car and equipment provided to us was to such a high standard that it gave us the peace of mind in terms of reliability and performance on our drive from Broome to Perth when anything could happen!
