Craigie Tavern reviews
56 Went here for my birthday dinner
I had the Thursday special PORK RIBS this was a big mistake this was the toughest rib meat I’ve ever eaten has to have been microwaved I couldn’t eat it and the meat had a very strange smell biggest waste of money never will I attempt to eat here ever again
Great venue. Friendly staff, reasonably priced range of meals, nice atmosphere, ample free parking.
Was great but things have changed like no pint with the daily special but its still costs full price. Plus the whole menu has increased in price like the apparent 1kg of chicken wings which is just 6 small wings weighing max 500grams for a pricey 18 bucks. So in this day and age of competition please look around and you will find better value.
I have been coming to Craigie for years. There are no words to describe how amazing the workers are here.
First time eating here today, was very impressed. Daily specials are great deals. I had the kg of wings and pork belly bites, my husband had the piggy parmi special. The wings were tasty and hot, a couple of minutes under done though, they weren't pull apart like wings should be. Pork belly and parmi were perfect. Staff were friendly and helpful, will go back when in the area for sure.
Had one the best and fairly price meal in ages! To top it off I felt well looked after by the wonderful staff. I had a really bad day that day and just 2 hours at the cragie just mad my night
Must say the chicken parmis are so yummy all the food looks great, definitely making it more of a main pitstop now as whitfords tavern is now a Varsity bar and not into burgers much.
It Was wonderful the staff made us feel so welcome and looked after us, we were there celebrating my brother life for his 1st heavenly birthday cheers guys
Awesome atmosphere with great food and very friendly staff, I definitely give it a thumbs up, if you find yourself in the area, then the Craigie Tavern is the place to be:)
Closing time is 11pm on Tuesday night for the drive-thru (as advertised online).
I was there around 10: 55pm and the store was closed.
I understand that your staff wants to go home early, in that case just changed your opening hours to 10: 50pm so I don't have to speed to your store rushing from work.
We had a lovely time. I booked over the phone to make sure we got a seat. The 5 of us had a lovely meal sitting next to the sound proof kids area (thank you God). Really nice food, lovely share platter and great value.
First time trying this place out, Sunday dinner, very quiet. Nice restaurant, brightly lit. There is a kids playroom to keep the kiddies entertained. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. We ordered the American ribs which was delicious. The slow cooked pork belly was a very generous serve but I was a little surprised to see boiled peas, carrot and cauliflower on the plate. The kids had butter chicken, the curry of the day and spicy chicken burger. Overall both dishes was tasty. Will most definitely go back again.
Haven't been there for 2 years but thoroughly enjoyed our meal and new menu. Will be back. Thanks
Talented Bar staff who are always friendly Yum chips & wedges Good live music Fun friends
Really great food and awesome staff. I had the chicken parmy which was huge considering the price very good value!
Love the Chicken Caesar salad at the Craigie I have had it 3 times now and it is fresh and is an amazing salad BUT when they add the chicken I really think they microwave It or it’s old.that part of the is a BIG let down as the chicken tastes terrible!
$25 for a “Fried” chicken burger obviously overcooked in the oven. Tasteless and dry. Dry overcooked chips. Embarrassing.
