Corrigin Hotel reviews
46Absolutely amazing place! Fantastic customer service and the best food we've had in a long time!
A wonderful overnight stay at a super friendly pub. Do yourself a favour and visit Corrigin. The hospitality is so friendly, and it is just a lovely place to be.
Friday night, ordered dinner (1 meal seafood selections) 2 hours and still waiting for it to arrived. Asked where it was at the one hour mark and was told 10-15 min. Very poor service Don’t even bother unless you order at lunch time for dinner time
If anyone is tempted to stretch their credit card on a steak dinner at the Crown’s renowned Rockpool Bar and Grill, I suggest that instead they head down to the Corrigin Hotel for the weekend to enjoy its high standard accommodation and what I found to be the best steaks I have ever eaten. They came without the over-hyped and over-priced fine dining ambience, just excellent cooking in a lovely country pub with some of the most genuinely friendly service you will experience.
Fortunately, I was in Corrigin for three nights so started on the first night with a 350-gram rib eye, second night a 400-gram black angus scotch fillet and third night, on the recommendation of a charming Dublin backpacker working behind the bar, the 300-gram reef and beef with plenty of large prawns. They were, in every sense, memorable meals; all the steaks were so tender, cooked to medium-rare perfection with accompanying sauce in a side jug and a generous serving of vegetables and mashed potato. It is no wonder that even on the usually quieter Monday and Tuesday nights there were plenty of other diners, nor surprising that so many reviewers have accorded the hotel high ratings. The plaudits are thoroughly deserved – the Corrigin Hotel is a gem in the Wheatbelt.
It may seem a bit much for three x 5 stars but the Corrigin Hotel deserves it! The rooms are recently renovated (we chose one with ensuite) and really well presented. Our evening meals were spot on. In short, a great stop over - nearly to the point of being a destination!
What a top little spot, eaten here many times on way through and it has been perfect, this the same, awesome size, value and quality. This time I had accommodation and I will be back, super modern and we'll appointed rooms, quite recent renovation. Great pub
Fish and chips Very close to my top 5 list Great prices great food great meals. Salt and pepper squid fresh as. Empty plates says it all
I used to regularly stay at this hotel in the 1960's. It was wonderful to visit again and find that the current owner has spent considerable time and money making many modifications. It was very obvious that staff, owners and patrons have a real love of the premises and business. I spoke with several local patrons who are very appreciative of what the owners have achieved with the business.
Bar staff were friendly, quick and efficient, with Kiera an absolute gem.
We stopped off here whilst on a road trip out to the wheatbelt region. Had some.luch and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food. Very nice, with a dig friendly beer garden. Nice big pub and garden, good service
Passing by thought we stop in and have meal, Thought it mike be average but we were very surprised the pork was cooked great and the veggies perfect. The place was very clean and tidy plus the staff are friendly.
Didn't stay at the hotel, but had dinner there. Very pleasant staff, good service, excellent food and reasonably priced. Highly recommend
The newly renovated ensuite rooms are very good and great value. The meals were also great, so highly recommended
Friday lunch specials FANTASTIC. Been travelling through WA for 2 weeks and 3000km been searching far and wide for a decent well priced wholesome food. Well done Hotel Corrigan you ticked all the boxes. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Corrigan is a tiny little red Outback dust town, and the pub matches. This is not the place for Michelin fine-dining and wine-tasting, this is a pure, Aussie outback PUB and we couldn't have been happier. Food was filling and well-priced, interior decor was perfect, massive local beer selection, both bottle and on-tap, even a MASSIVE take away bottle shop selection. If you're in need of a feed and a cold beer and don't mind a bit of a rougher Aussie pub experience (with very friendly locals), this is a must-stop.
Please try the parmi actual chicken and kids eat free Sunday. Tab for the casual punt. All over great venue with fresh renovated rooms
It's the best hotel in Corrigin it's been spruced up a little in the last 12 months that I was there very very popular and the food is good and reasonably priced
Nice clean room with excellent bathroom. Also shared breakfast facilities provided with toast and cereals. Pub meal also great. Great value.
Really nice pub and really nice people, didn't eat here but saw the food coming out for customers and looked amazing
