Cornerstone Christian College reviews
4Don't go to page 175 in yr. 8 science book.other than that great school.
If I could give it zero stars that would have been more fair. I don’t have a complain with the admin staff only with the pre primary teacher.
We enrolled our son to this school hoping he would be supported and cared for as he’s struggling with separation anxiety from his mum and dad. The teacher was not interested in keeping him in the classroom and suspended our son from school without letting the principal know what she was going to do.
She gave him 3 days in her classroom before she found him to be too difficult to teach. My son has no behaviour problems what so ever. He just needed a little support adjusting in his new environment with complete strangers. This teacher had no interest in helping him achieve that. It’s made his anxiety even worse and any mention of going to school scares him to tears. It’s been hard on him and us. If you have a child with a similar situation I would not recommend sending him/her to her classroom.
She only wants perfect little children that are easy to teach and control. The rest of the staff we met were lovely and welcoming and the principal was in shock when he learned what has happened and offered to take our son in the following year if we still want to continue at the school which we kindly declined.
We are still waiting for an apology from her for the way she treated us and our child. We are very angry and disgusted with her behaviour! Not Christian at all!
Cornerstone is a pretty good school, but the staff here are extremely quick to judge & are unable to offer extra support to students & family who need it.
I go there now and I love it the teachers help you and actually show interest in your education and the students are all friendly and welcoming. A great school for primary and highschool.
