Corfield Doctors Surgery

Doctor Dumidu is disrespectful, unprofessional and impolite.
I went for anxiety when I was younger and straight out said “it’s in your head just forget about it” and laughed.
I went due to influenza and my regular gp was booked up and it was urgent but not emergent. Then told me I have liver abnormalities which is not wrong however continued to call me fat and unhealthy several times when I’m 7kg underweight and have always had weight gaining issues and sat at the designated “healthy” weight throughout my childhood.

I’ll get these results back to my regular gp who can talk to me with respect.

Local doctors I go to, doctors are never on time, always sitting in the waiting room for at least 30mins to an hour sometimes longer…even when it’s a booked appointment, most of the doctors are really nice but sitting in the waiting room that long while sick isn’t the best experience

I did not expect the rude receptionist when trying to dicuss whether I needed to make a follow up visit. Will not be using them again

This place should be shut down, my daughters had been struggling after having a miscarriage, I told her to book a double appointment for a mental health assessment, she asked the GP for medication to sleep or something like Valium. The Dr laughed and her and refused to do the mental health assessment and then proceeded to kick her out of her room. He charged the appointment to Medicare. My daughter went to the reception crying to only be met with the said Doctors wife. When I called and ask to speak to the office manager I was informed that they did not have one.
Lucky my daughter didn’t go end her life, like she wanted to.
This is going to be reported to the medical board!

Booked a telehealth appointment for 4pm today - it's now 5: 50pm and haven't heard a thing. Completely unacceptable

I am on medication which I've been taking for many years. Albeit it's my responsibility to make sure I have an up to date script, but on this occasion I thought I had more than I did. I called to request an urgent script as I was away for work. The receptionist told me there were no appointments. I explained that I don't need an appointment as the medication doesn't need to be revised and I urgently needed a script or I would be crash detoxing. The lack of compassion and duty of care was horrendous. She didn't even ask the doctor.
I attempted to call the previous surgery I attended, they advised that they couldve but were unable because it had been 2 years since I was there.
I will never attend this doctor surgery again!

I wanted to pass on a very big Thankyou to
Dr Mayurathan & the nurses for the way they handled my son with his needles today.
They all showed so much care, empathy & compassion which really helped the process with my son who has a needle phobia & has anxiety.
Our other experiences have not been so nice with dr‘s being very forceful & dismissive.

Would give zero stars if I could. This place is good for a sick note and that’s about it. If you have a medical condition and require a competent doctor- this is not the place. If they’re not careful they will be reported to the medical board as that is the consequence of failing to treat people with proper medical care.

Dr Dumidu Gammamnpila needs to learn some manners! The question the receptionist asked was, "Do you have any flu like symptoms? " I don't have any syptoms but before I could even get a sentence out the doctor shouted at me and shuffled me into a room because he heard the word "cough" You are rude and impatient Dr Dumidu Gammamnpila, I think all the covid malarkey has made you crazy

Worst medical ever! Reception is so rude and have no manners. I’ve been calling a few times now and they keep hanging up on me!
When u enter the medical there’s no greetings and the ladies are just sitting there talking to eachother in their language and not helping us
Never coming back again! Would not recommend this place at all

I have been attending this surgery since it opened. I have nothing but praise for the Drs I have seen. I was very unwell last Year and was treated with such cars, concern and support - this has been ongoing….

Not happy. I would like to give no stars, such a w practice. Lack of knowledge with the Doctors, very unhappy! Better do not go to this practice.

Doctor is amazing and caring, only giving 4 stars as waiting time is very badly managed over there. It would be great if they can inform the patient by calling or sending an sms, instead of the patient waiting for an hour there.

This would have to be the worst surgery I’ve ever! Been to rude receptionists who told me that I didn’t make an apt twice! And then tried to say they rang me but my phone was disconnected and my first visit I was in great need of help but then I got a doctor who then decided that her skills surpassed that of the pain specialists at Charles Gardiner and decided that my pain meds were too much and that it was up to her to halve them without even meeting me or even looking through my file I was disgusted!
I nearly ended up topping myself So be very careful before going to this surgery especially if u have any kind of mental health issue or suffer chronic pain of any sort Help not Harm! Good docs are hard to find

Never had an ontime appt! Ever! Always atleast 30 mins behind. Nit great. I have decided to find a new doctor for my child, myself & my partner

Really disappointed with Dr Thanuja, she was extremely rude and dismissive of my concerns. Dr's are supposed to help their patients. It's been proven that UTI tests are not accurate, especially once antibiotics have already been taken. If I'm telling you I still have symptoms, maybe you should listen. Doctors should be more informed of latest research.

I have been to this practice for many years. I am always happy with the service and worth to wait sometimes and understand this is a service and place about dealing someone’s health issues.
Knowledgeable and caring doctors. Dr. Dumindu is very kind and thorough take his time and carefully listen.

How is it possible to have a 9: 20 am appointment and it's now 10: 00 am and am still in the waiting room?
I could understand that by the afternoon sometimes appointment times may get pushed back, but 9: 20 when they open at 8: 30?
How!? !? !? !? !
