A great find by Margaret river. Staff were very welcoming, great atmosphere, very scenic, and not packed to the rafters. Food was excellent, not over fussy, as some other restaurants are now. Lamb and Pork were very good. Beer was good, and blood cider my favourite. Spent a good 3-4 hours there, and our favourite afternoon down south. We will definitely be back next year.

One of the best craft beer venues in Australia.
Staff are exemplary, the definition of hospo. Special shout out to venue manager, Zack, awesome guy

Kitchen is good, facilities are well laid out and location is beautiful (the drive back on Osmington Road to Busselton Highway is beautiful too). A big big fan

The place is gorgeous inside and out (the perfect weather may also have played a part) The food, service, scenery and the entertainment of watching young people lob golfballs into the small lake was a fantastic end to our day. Will definitely return if I get the chance and recommend it to others.

Great value for money, great food. Would easily come back every night for dinner.

$19 for a great burger? Fantastic comparatively to other places, better than every other place I’ve been to in the south west in the last two weeks (there’s been a lot). And then $4 for an extra patty? Just too good.

Other places I’ve been told it’s $9 or $10 for an extra patty, on top of a $25 for a single. And all except 1 of those burgers have been shot (at other places, not CBCo.

Give them a visit! Great people, great price and great food.

Great brewery with play-park and driving range! Plenty of seating in the shade to watch the kids in the park. Great pub food and beers! Really friendly staff and quick service!

A really nice place to go to although frightfully expensive $25 for a pint of beer and a glass of prosecco. Cheeseburger for $25 come on really, how do justify this. I was warned it is called Markup River.

We visited your brewery this week as I'd bought your beers before. The burgers were fantastic, fresh and delicious. The pale ale was icy cold and refreshing and the staff were very welcoming, down to earth and the service was 5 stars. I was so thankful to buy your beer glasses as well, some for me, some for a gift, as the villa we stayed at (Tall Trees) had them in their kitchen. I also told my golf-loving family about the activities their as well, they're well keen! Love the venue, will definitely be returning soon. Cheers!

Awesome spot for afternoon beers and some tasty food. Plenty of space indoors and outside with sails providing shade. Very decent selection of beers as you would expect and the added novelty of hitting golf balls into the lake.

Lovely venue and service.
Panko burger was delicious but charcuterie board was very disappointing. Overpriced for the size and only two slices of toast. 2 out of 3 cheeses were the same. Definitely needed crackers, more bread and a variety of cheese.

Just wanted to give a shout out to all the workers at the place and especially Zach the manager. Absolute top guy who went more than out of his way to make our visit enjoyable. Top crew there. Keep up the awesome work

Great playground for the kids and easy for parents to supervise from their outdoor tables.
Beers and food is good with quick service.
They even have a golf hitting pad where you can hit a bucket of balls into the fenced off pond/lake.
Music on loud speakers plays and was a band I recognized and enjoyed.
We were visting WA from NZ and lunched with our kids and grandies who live in WA. All enjoyed it.

Me and my mates came for lunch and a few beers, as I love colonial brewing. Beer and foods was awesome.
We sat inside and realised they had a driving range, well this made our day. Smashed a heap of balls into the lake, and had a lot of laughs.
All in all, this place is great and will definitely be returning
I'm not peppy pig, my son chose the name hahaha

Great spot! Solid range of great beers all served in really nice glassware. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the decor and layout of the bar area is spot on and the big garden is great for the kids to run around in. I'm already looking forward to going back next time we are in the area!

Beautiful venue and beer, one to which we are local and where we regularly spend quite a bit of coin at.

Unfortunately their staff and managers are rude and discriminating. As a licensed venue open to the public they single out and discriminate against people not wearing a muzzle, demand private medical information of people that is legally not theirs to know or even ask and single out people for not adhering to proposed illegal "mandates" of the "republic of western australia. "

To explain the matter and its illegality, that can have heavy consequences financially and legally for any venue offering such treatment to patrons who are not intoxicated, unorderly or misbehaved:

"Mandates" are not only not laws, but in fact, are in contradiction of:

1. Our Australian constitution
2. Federal Law
3. The International Human Rights Act
4. The Nüremberg Code

Any proposed state laws, that are not agreeable with, or contradictory to, our Australian Federal law, are instantly null and void. Federal law always overrides state law if in conflict automatically.

Therefore, the antisocial, argumentative, intimidating and unprofessional inhumane behaviour of some of the staff at Colonial Brewery are unlawful and break not only one, but all the following acts and laws:

1. Privacy Act of 1988
2. Anti-Discrimination Act 1977
3. Disability Descrimination Act 1992
4. International Human Rights Charter
5. Australian Human Rights Commission Act 1986
6. Crimes Act 2007.

These crimes are not only prosecutable via Commerce law (charges affecting the company) but also via Civil Law (affecting each private person involved, such as some staff members, incl.manager and owners with criminal charges and fines up to $50k per individual) and both lawsuits can be pursued at the same time.

We are sharing the above feedback to raise awareness:

For business owners, such as those of this company to please realise that they are risking their livelihood, reputation and license by adhering to unjust and unlawful mandates.

For patrons and peaceful, equal patrons and sons and daughters of the creator (not of any government) to know that discrimination against them and their natural human rights, for their medical and personal choices amongst others, is unlawful and unjust and will have heavy consequences for perpetrators, companies and private people alile, who discriminate against you, should you choose to take these incidences further into a court of law.

Enough is enough.

Know your rights and know your HUMANness, stop turning brother against brother.
It is us the people who keep your business alive. It is time to contemplate and do the RIGHTS thing - by you, by others, by everyone.

Fast service, food came out very quickly, even though it was busy. Pizza was delicious. Chicken burger was ginormous and really really good according to my daughter.

We asked for golf balles so we could havw sonthing to do however we were informed by staff that there were none left and this has happened on multiple occasions about 10mins later some guy walkes by will golf balls. So the staff didnt bother to check. Later we went up for some chips and the staff didnt bother to serve me and were standing around, the chef had to eventually tell them to serve me. They are very unenthusiastic and average
Up your game.
