Collie River Valley Tourist Park reviews
56Located within easy drive to Wellington NP and all it offers. Clean amenities, large sites.
No playground or pool there but lots of locations close to see, clean campgrounds and helpful staff.
A great family friendly campground with all the amenities you could want from a TV room, cheap esky ice, coffee, power points, fresh grass and clean toilets. Would highly recommend as one of the best camp spots I've seen in a while.
We stayed at Collie Caravan Park with our caravan.
This is a lovely quiet park with several permanent residents that are very friendly.
The ablutions are neat & clean.
You're very close to the centre of town & the best place to buy great takeaway food, the Ampol garage.
We highly recommend this park.
Friendly staff, neat and tidy park, reasonable rates. All sites are powered $40 night, $35 for one person. Would stay here again.
Caravan park located in Collie, they have options for camping, caravans and self contained units.
Town centre is close by and can be walked to in about 10 minutes.
Units are clean and well equipped for a weekend or few days. Heating and blankets were sufficient for how cold it can get in Collie during winter.
Wonderful stay with great amenities. Clean and well kept as well as wonderful staff and owners who are always happy to help. We will be back
Great park, friendly staff and great service. Ammenities were clean and tidy. Will stay again
Nice, tidy park. Lots of trees for shade. Big sites. Close to town and all the beautiful lakes for swimming
Very Cold Rooms, Ducted Heater was goin off n on, only staying on for 3mins.
Very Dewy n Damp in Mornings in Rooms.as for the Owner sayin we had extra people we had Children under 10yrs old and went to a Funeral, yes we had a Couple of Visitors but none Stayed overnight thank you, so thought Id get that Straight from yr Lying Review just cos we had an Awful Few Cold nights hmm?
They accommodated us at short notice and gave us a large site adjactent to the Toilets which are clean and well maintained. Staff are very friendly
What a lovely caravan park, clean amenities and good pressure in showers.
Staff friendly and helpful
Soft floor campers let the staff know before arrival and nice green lawn.
A great place to stay overnight or longer good clean amenities very helpful staff and friendly great location to all the bike trails and shopping ect.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Good advice on where to go and what to do in the town and surroundings. Collie is a beautiful town very friendly people.loved the place.
It’s cheap it cheerful and it’s liveable. Great for the weekend down or for a tad longer trip. It’s pretty close to ammenities in collie while being away from the main road. They got camper van space and also some rooms.
Nice big bays for vehicles. Place is clean and tidy. Showers are the best. They are big so clothes don't get wet and water pressure is great. Camper's kitchen was always clean.
Would return if in the area again.
We have travelled 3 states in our camper, first time we have ever been charged for an RV Dump. The management told me it was a donation, but I HAD to pay it. Therefore it is NOT a donation. No receipt offered! I wonder? Collie is a great town unfortunate. There are two UNPAID RV dumps in town.
An older caravan park with generous camp bays. 9 metres in width. Only issue is the bays are bitumised (old?) So makes it extremely difficult to peg anything into the ground (is annexe, clothes line etc). Under decent shady trees.
Clean and well maintained with friendly staff.
One thing I would like to see changed is the keys for the ablutions. There were seperate male/female keys for the seperate male/female toilets/showers (4 different locked rooms). If you were wandering the park, you couldn't just go to the toilet - you had to go back to camp to get the key. Many other caravan parks have the key code system which works perfectly. No leaving behind keys (very easily done) after a shower and you can get inside without having to go back to camp. Kept clean and maintained mostly, although maybe needed extra time over the peak of Easter (ran out of toilet paper, extra dirty floors etc) as the park was much emptier not over the peak period.
Decent sized rec room with pool table, tv and big fridge.
No playground for kids which I found strange (or very well hidden if there was one).
No security at front entrance, allowing anyone to enter anytime.
Very disappointed with this place. The admin is disgraceful. I had no confirmation of my booking from them, had to chase them up. They did not have our cabin ready, having to complete set up the next morning. Their paperwork is misleading. They do not communicate with each other and the owners are quite rude.
Great stop over for those travelling threw.
But if you want to stay for a bit.
The Ground at the site is very hard except the campers area. The Facilities are very clean good kitchens.collie is great if you are into water sports. The town is a great little country town. Has woollies and Coles we visited the Wellington Dam to see the mural.
Well done to the owners of the caravan premises
