Coles South Perth reviews
64Very impressed how nicely stacked all those fruits and vegies that makes me shop more, very inviting!
This was a great local outlet and had very food options and prepared meals. Wonderful staff member helped. Very different set up from Victorian stores
Highly impressed after visiting Coles local, Angelo st.
Nice to see a coffee machine at the entrance of the store.
Lot of variety of products nicely stacked to choose from.
Ample quantity of local fruits & vegetables, breads, cheese, honey & frozen fruits.
Staff is very friendly & cooperative & do their best to please their customers.
We will definitely recommend to shop at this store.
Claudia is a darling, just finished shopping and she was so nice at the checkout asking about my day, what I do for work! Really getting to know the customers. Coles is my local but shes just made it 100x more exciting to shop!
Gone downhill since the reno. Miss fresh deli and seafood options. Lots of overpriced stuff now
I dislike the new Coles local. There is no deli counter. This means I have to buy packaged chicken and bacon as well as salami and mortadella. This is very annoying as I do not want the quantity packaged and it is much more expensive. I do not like the bakery section without any of the Coles baked items, it is all specialty breads and buns. Also each time I go to buy milk it is either the use buy date for the milk available or just one day followed. I have had to buy a 3 litre container to get sufficient usage from the milk before it is unusable and I live alone. I am not alone in my view of the lack of deli counter. Many elderly people living alone in the area have a similar issue with having to buy pre packaged in greater quantities than required.
Still haven't been able to find the products that I want. NO Deli and no Bakery very bad service. It needs a Deli and Bakery.
Terrible customer service. Staff standing around chatting while customers wait. Great reluctance to exchange an item even when proof of purchase was shown. Statements like 'we haven't sold any of those on that day' (note evidence of proof of purchase) and questions like ' What time did you buy it'. Never had such terrible service in ANY Coles store before!
I love this Coles. Because it used to be so small our nearest option was East Vic Park which was far too busy. I don't think the lack of a deli makes much of a difference - the cold meat is still great quality. The bread is next level; staff are brilliant and the grab and go section is great. I'm also a huge fan of Coles bringing in local produce to showcase - there's some brands and lines I've never even seen before and it's overall a very enjoyable, calming and aesthetically pleasing shopping experience.
So impress with this new Coles. New coffee machine and bread cutting machine. Shop is bigger and plenty products to choose from. Yesterday all fresh bread at $1! Great deals if you spend time shop around in store. Love the staff! Everyone is friendly and helpful. Great job guys! You just made this my favourite store!
Pleasure shopping at this newly renovated Coles. Good lay out, well stocked shelves and fresh food. Staff helpful and pleasant. Never had a problem with parking.
Very impressed with the new Coles Local store. Many more products to choose from than a normal Coles store. Love the self serve frozen fruit/berries section, all Australian fruit. The bread, cheeses, range of ready made food including rolls and sandwiches, all excellent. Staff very helpful and friendly. Will definitely be shopping here on a regular basis.
Used to be the worst Coles in Perth. The supermarket section is still at the small end of the scale - so range is limited - but I like all the new 'local' additions. Bakery and ready-to-eat options are great. Decor and general vibe of the place is so much better now. It's more aimed at regular small visits than big weekly hauls (which Vic Park Coles is much better for).
Even better selection and bigger store after refurb incl some local content such as Mary St bakery goods and Blacklist coffee beans
Highly disappointed- Cole’s Local has missed the market. People want the Deli and the Cole’s line of bread - Laurent, not prepackaged cold meat and expensive Mary Street bread. What works in Melbourne won’t necessarily work in Perth!
The strange holes in their product lines that happened during the renovations have never been filled. Often missing ingredients from recipes and have to dash elsewhere. Not a fan of the Cole’s local format and feel the amount of plastic waste being generated by the new model is gross with it’s prepackaged meals and no deli.
Super disappointed at the lack of deli section, not everyone shops in bulk. Prices not even really competitive with IGA price wise anymore
Great renovation and expansion with delicious gormet bakery products and cooked meals. Renovation still happening and it looks exciting!
Prices scan higher at the checkout than displayed on the shelf. Items scan twice when checking out, poor selection of basic items
Big thanks to Pat today working in Express checkout.
Had my hands full and he went to get my milk quickly for me.
Great service and new shop looks.
