Coles Pinjarra reviews
56 Got barked at by the attendant for walking through the new fancy but also dystopian security checkpoint (you should man these with stormtroopers). Which is not at eye level.so I did not see it.
You used to be cool Coles, now you are something out of George Orwell's 1984.except the supermarket version.
Can I come in and grab one of those fancy waterbottles you gifted staff for xmas? Im sure you have plenty spare.
You guys suck.
I am a pinjarra senior high school student and I go in every morning to get my lunch and the staff are telling me to get out of the store at 8: 30 and they always think Im stealing I’ve been harassed multiple times by the coles staff
Have always found the store staff to be amazing, especially the checkout crew.
This review relates to my most recent experience at Pinjarra Coles and the new "Smart Security Gates" just implemented in store.
Paid for my items directly in front of the security guard that is often present and attempted to leave the store. Walked through the green smart security gates carrying items in both hands. They failed to open, meaning they hit me in the thighs. They turned red after impact, opened and triggered a loud alarm. Way to trigger a great shopping experience Coles!
For your clients that suffer from anxiety or PTSD this should go down a treat!
Green is a safe exit colour and also the colour for go? But your green gates are where we stop?
Can see you put some real thought into this!
Additionally, I now understand that if I don’t purchase anything exit is “allowed” only after assessment by a staff member pressing a button. How is this even legal?
Who gave Coles the right to prevent customers from exiting a store even temporarily when they are not even suspected of a wrong doing or crime.
You removed a multitude of staff from the service checkouts and now you want the paying law abiding customers to be subjected to needing “permission” to exit.
Shame on you Coles!
Absolutely disgusted in the state of the store, terrible shelf supply, bad attitude with staff.
Stop doing self serve just because you are too lazy to have people standing at a checkout doing an honest job you want everybody else to do their job for them that is complete laziness
Coles produce is disgusting, the store manager claims that qaulity checks are carried out multiple times a day and yet every time I shop here there is rotten or bruised fruit.
Terribly disappointed, prices have been increased beyond reason, they would argue it's because lack of supply but that's not a fair reason, it's just because they can. I hate shopping at Coles.
Just bought some ribs and they placed two sets on top of each other nearly no meat on them at all waste of 25 bucks
It disgusts me every time I see a senior citizen packing their own shopping while the 40 something check out person basically swipes grocerys at them because they ask them if they are happy to help bag. When you can clearly see they are frail. This I find from the older check out staff not the younger and I see it constantly at coles Pinjarra W. A.
Check dates on all meat. Constantly finding meat that's way out of date, sometimes a few weeks out of date for sandwich meat. Don't buy presuming their doing their job and rotating stock!
Chicken in picture purchased on the 29th of July
No sanitiser sheets to wipe trolly handles down, empty shelves of basics like eggs and flour.
So I cant even make my own pasta, people being selfish and silly.
Not enough checkout operators. Manager and staff very offhand.young one who got the manager for me very pleasant though. Noticed recently, never enough staff at checkouts.
I always have a great experience when shopping at Coles Pinjarra. BUT.when I get to the checkout I have issues with things that are on special but I am charged full price! WHY? I shop fortnightly on a budget and for the last 3 shops I have been overcharged, not by a few cents but by many dollars. Today I paid $13.60 for something that was on special for $9.00. NOT GOOD ENOUGH! LIFT YOUR GAME COLES PINJARRA!
I stood second inline for 20 minutes at the smoke counter waiting to grab some smokes while listening to the checkout ladies talking about what there doing on the weekend and what DVDs that had just come in to stock in store and to hear she had already put 4 DVDs aside to purchase after work all while 8 or so of us stood there waiting as soon as smokemart opened there doors whole line disappeared off to smokemart!
Would be better if they restocked the shelves more often. It's a waste of time going here if you just end up having to go to Mandurah to finish your shopping.
We like shopping here, but please stop selling tasteless fruit. Been in & out of cold storage too much. Bought some Kiwi fruit & had to throw them out because they were rotten. So please make sure your staff are checking what they are putting on the shelves. Not just Coles, all the supermarkets do it. So called fresh fruit is not fresh anymore.
Bought these bananas from Coles Pinjarra today, my fault for not noticing this, but then again I've never had this happen before & have been shopping here for the past 11yrs, Obviously someone's not doing their job! Oh and there was only 1 long life milk available on the entire shelf and it was only 1pm
Stock standard Coles although a bit less variety than others closer to the metro area which is to be expected.
I did notice a lot of shelve stocking staff in positions to ask confused customers if they could offer a hand finding something or some advice but chose not to. I always was taught customer service comes first.
Went a couple of times and couldn’t find any single packs of yogurt (as in smaller
~100g tubs). I found someone who worked there and asked and they just said they didn’t know. There was no ‘. But I will find out for you’. Pretty.well no, that is just bad customer service. I will always look to shop at Woolworths at the forum on my way home instead where I can.
Most Check out girls don't Smile or say "How are you". But coles is not bad! Wish they had more variety in store, like larger bags of Bird Seed.
A large centre for a town of this size and only three men's toilets, I thought there would have to be more for a complex this size.
