Disgusting Coles wants you to serve yours
The most expensive Coles I've been to with quite limited products available. PLUS no toilets in the complex, making it very difficult for me as a disabled person with limited movement.
Trolleys are in very poor condition. Only one staff on checkout so self service checkout line was very long.
Lee is really great at his job. He's consistently very helpful and attentive at self checkout. Should be recognised.
Good guy.
It's a good grocery shopping experience. A well presented store. We experienced lovely friendly helpful staff. Great produce.
Quite a decent Coles in a good location. The carpark is a nightmare, but I suspect that isn't their fault.
Currently in isolation, so we did a delivery option that was dropped off on Monday. We have gone to use the bread today, and the entire loaf is mouldy.
This is very inconvenient as we cannot leave to go and get another.
I expected to get more than 48 hours out of a loaf of bread. Makes me nervous, If the bread wasn’t fresh, is the other stuff?
Carpark seems crazy sometimes, but the store itself is clean and organised. The store’s layout was great, and nothing I needed was out of stock.
Always low on advertised specials and limited stock due to lack of shelf space. Car park is a nightmare, dread using it. Place is old, needs bulldozing and bringing into the 21st century. Better options elsewhere. We only use for essentials
Always out of stock, most of the specials are never on the shelves. Limited variety of everything, veggies are expensive and sad. Moving to ALDI.
Would of given five stars if it wasn't for the homeless loitering in the entrance way. I don't have much to give and don't carry money on me. Otherwise good store all round
One of the older Coles stores around now, could do with a renovation as layout/appearance gives a pretty cheap vibe but prices do not reflect this. The parking lot is atrocious. I usually go a bit further to the Coles in Inglewood as it's just a better experience. Plus if you go there anytime after about 5pm there's a 50/50 chance of being harassed by a drunk aboriginal begging for money.
This store does not deserve the 1 star rating. Had my purse stolen out of my handbag while shopping there. Reported it immediately to staff who could not have cared less.
Reported the theft to the police who have made multiple requests for CCTV footage, all of which have been ignored. Shows total contempt for a person who has shopped there for over 20 years. I will never go back to that store to spend money again.
The police informed me that my story at Coles Maylands is not unique. Many other unfortunate women have experienced the same thing and also not been assisted. Don't ever think you matter. That store does not care.
Nice store. The staff are very welcoming and polite. Always seems to be alot of checkouts open and staff to help. Only problem I would say lets down the shop is the outside appeal is not nice and the car park is outdated and problematic with traffic. Maybe coles could benefit from putting some money into making the outside as nice as inside.
I was only there for a short visit so I cannot report on the store in detail other than the staff member I spoke with was friendly and helpful.
I went to this Coles because of their 'sensory hour' today as I am autistic and find grocery stores normally very stressful and tiring, and I often can't do anything all day after going to one because of migraines/anxiety. I hoped that taking advantage of the sensory hour would be helpful, but unfortunately I was pretty disappointed.
All they have done is turn the music off and turn off some of the lights. This is not sufficient to accomodate autistic shoppers when the lights at the checkouts and the front of the store are still on and extremely bright, they have not turned down the sounds on the self-checkout machines, they have scheduled MAINTAINENCE (including DRILLING) during sensory hour and the staff in the back deli section constantly yell at one another across the room and slam the metal trolleys into one another.
The staff are nice and overall it is a fine shop but I was really disappointed because it seems like they are not taking the sensory hour seriously. It would be really nice if they could actually turn down the checkout sounds, turn down all the lights consistently and maybe just encourage everybody to remember it is sensory hour and be quiet so customers with sensory issues can have a better time. Since it's only one hour a week I feel like it's not that much to ask.
Usually kept clean and tidy here. Hand sanitizer easy to find in store and QR code scanning at multiple areas at entrance makes this chore a bit easier.good shop, friendly manager and good specials with New Masterchef promotion!
Coles caramel slice very nice would make a great addition to the kitchen table for deserts or function very well made and tastes awesome. Nearly addictive
Was there at the relevant time 'exposure site'. My test came back negative.
For anyone looking at this from outside the country or even just if you're a Victorian, one case here is enough to send us into lockdown.
The quick lockdown ensures that absolutely no spread occurs.
Thank you Mark McGowan.
Very helpful staff, very organised with whats where in the aisles! Have got to know the staff there quite a bit, so i would surely have no problems finding the items i need. Keep up the great work!
