Coco's Restaurant

The view is amazing. The service impeccable. My servers were attentive, accurate and amazing. Compliments to the chef.
My crispy squid, beetroot salad and pineapple dessert were all outstanding. I would recommend this place to those who love quality for a price that is very reasonable for what you get.

Everything was amazing. Even the initial greeting from Jodie set the mood. Just great. Can't wait to go back.

I booked this place and requested seating inside however i was persuaded the outside has a nice view and there's heaters however i can change if i preferred to sit inside. When i got there it was cold and raining so i did not want to sit outside, when asked to change the person at the front came back and said fallow me and took us outside. We sat on fancy pavers with no heaters. One table had 2 heaters near them and we got one half an hour later after they left. I requested a heater to seperate staff and said the table in front has 2 heaters. I ordered seafood chowder which was tasteless so i added pepper and salt it was still tasteless. Seafood chowder to me should be rich and creamy. My daughter had a beef speghati dish which she didn't like and when i tried it i understood why wife had fish grilled with the skin tasteless again but eaten with the skin it was ok wife eats healthy so she will not eat anything with the skin. The other dishes were very good. Sticky date pudding was different. Staff fantastic but not silver service trained. I will revisit to change or edit this review to be fair

I had a table for 2 booked and I specifically ticked engagement when booking online. I get there with my partner and to be greeted by Jodie and told her my name and she congratulated both of us and ruined the hole night. I hadn't even asked my partner yet and It was totally embarrassing and I can't believe someone would do that. No apologies or anything and I still ordered and paid for our meals and drinks.

Had the worst experience! My partner and I came in last night for dinner, it was her birthday and I wanted to do alittle something special for her, I had booked for a table outside on the balcony to get a glimpse of the city view which started off great. The waitress had came to take our order, straight alway I noticed she had abit of an attitude whiles taking the order, I didn’t say anything and continued to place our order. I had ordered an eye fillet steak and asked for medium rare with mushroom sauce and my partner ordered her meal and some entree.

I would have to say it took 30 mins for entree and 1hour later before the mains to come out and when the steak had came out it was cooked well done? ! I had politely asked the waitress that if this steak was medium rare? Because that was what I had asked for.she then gave me a blank look and said I duno with an attitude. So I was like okay did you want to maybe ask the chef? She then said I’ll go in and ask and came back moments later saying the steak was well cooked. I end up getting my steak replaced for a medium rare but she forgot to give me my mushroom sauce that I also had ordered, at that point I couldn’t be bother asking because I didn’t want to deal with the rude waitress.

Over all I wouldn’t go back, end up paying $240 and was going to leave a tip.but after the waiting time for the food and very poor customer service especially from that lady. I still remember what she looks like, had orange hair with snobby face with a few small tattoos along her arms hope she gets sack or better yet learn some customer service! NEVER coming here again.

Avoid this place if you want good food and better service

It’s a beautiful restaurant, I normally drop by because I live in the area neither have I ever had a bad experience. Yesterday however, my colleague visited we asked if they had a spare table which they said yes to. We did request for a quite place just for private conversation. The supervisor that was in charge came running as we were waiting to be allocated a table. “I’am not allowing you to sit on these tables, you can sit in any of these” the table was not cleaned and we were treated like we went there for free food. Our food older was wrong and when we asked the difference in the bill/why sides were charged when we clearly requested to swap sides? She was like, so did you just notice you had a wrong order after finishing eating? Does this look like buttered fish to you? The whole experience from yesterday was just horrible and embarrassing. She was going around other tables checking in just not ours. If we needed something literally just had to get up to ask for it or grab from another table. I felt bad for the young lady that attended to us! Never eating there when I see that woman, rather just go to a different restaurant all together.

Had dinner on Sat 26 Aug with 3 other friends. My filet was a very small portion, hard like leather couldn’t even finish it. It was the case with the other 2 guests food. Did not complained about the fish and other fillet till the hostess asked “ oh you didn’t finish your food! ” Which we explained the reason. She took the plates and said “ see what I can do about it “. Nothing happened.
We ordered the tea and desserts. The only comment we heard at the cashier was “ sorry “ which to me meant if not happy don’t come back. We do exactly that.

Coco's is my favorite restaurant in town. The food is always fresh and delicious. The prices are also very reasonable and they have a great selection of dishes. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great dining experience!

Had the most amazing night at Cocos with my partner for our 2 year anniversary. Katie served us and she was so kind and accomodating. Her lovely personality and above and beyond effort didn’t go unnoticed. Also best steak i’ve ever had. I will definitely be back for our 3 years:)

Everything was lovely except the Oysters Kilpatrick. Why did you change the way you cooked them, they were perfect before! Can you please go back to cooking them the way you did previously?

We had dined here years ago and couldn’t fault it but this time we were disappointed. Poor service as in having to pour our own wine, weren’t informed of missing meals from menu small portions. Will have to find somewhere else for our pre Xmas lunch.

Our family went to Coco’s for Xmas lunch. Firstly we had to go to the bar to order drinks, waiting for service to order drinks was near impossible. Secondly our mains were quite possibly the worst meals we’ve ever been served at Coco’s. The turkey (which you’d think would be a star dish on Christmas Day) was so dry it was inedible, the stuffing was flavorless (woolies bbq chook stuffing is better than that) my husbands steak was promised to be served medium rare and was received completely well done and dry. We have had sub par experiences in the past with cocos on Christmas Day and unfortunately after this experience we won’t be coming back again.

Side note, for usual dining, we’d love the beef cheek ravioli to make a return to the menu, then we might return ourselves.

I do not recommend it at all. I was early and asked them to sit in balconey. Despite it was completely empty, they refuse. They said you have to order alcohol drink in order to sit in balconey! Furthermore, They charge me 4 time more than other restaurants. If you check the photo you can understand the amount of food they served. I paid $125.00 for such a little bit of food!
