Coco Cubano reviews
60Delicious food, service was great, coffee delicious. My first visit but will definitely not be my last.
Absolutely love the feta and mushroom cubanito, and the fries are an absolute delight.
The atmosphere is lovely and cosy.
A bit on the more expensive side, and I didn't particularly like the piña coladas. But I would definitely recommend this place.
Give it a go and try it for yourself.
Have enjoyed breakfast here a few times - it's usually pretty quiet and relaxed which I like. Breakfasts are good and service is good.
Have always liked this place, the service is always friendly and relatively quick and the food quite tasty. It would be even better if they put even more Cuban style dishes on the menu and fixed their deteriorating seating cushions. Despite that, I'd still recommend it for a laid back get together for a meal.
Great hidden away spot, great service, food needed seasoning, prawns cooked to perfection but.its not really tapas if it's a full sized and full priced entree.also the chirizo sucked, go buy Hans Chorizo from woollies, it's better that the tasteless slop that came on my plate.
Service was incredible with friendly staff and no wait time. The food and drinks were also amazing. To top off the experience the atmosphere and decor was gorgeous
Really nice dinner date night with the partner with good food.
Service was fantastic, prompt and friendly from the man working Sunday 7th of August.
Will definitely be back.
Have come here many times and the food is always great and always comes out really fast. Great coffee! Service is always amazing! Great atmosphere ️
Had such a great experience tonight, great service from the man with the glasses, really made the night, great nachos
We really enjoy this place. Have been many times for breakfast on Sundays. Atmosphere is warm and fun. Food has always been great with little unique twists. Never been on an evening but bet it would be just as enjoyable.
Always such a positive experience here. The customer service and food are always of high quality and there is a such a good variety of food, I am always in two minds deciding which option to pick. Coco’s also do an excellent happy hour for a quick drink or catch up with the girls. The decor is also super quirky. Love this place!
This is my favourite cafe in the Joondalup area. Really friendly staff and an atmosphere I cannot find anywhere else. Great drinks and food too
Place wasn't too busy when I visited. I was greeted fairly welcoming. Total costs were about $28 for a fairly sized Cuban sandwich and a mojito (happy hour). Food was okay, vibe and atmosphere were really good - great deco and location. I would say my own experience would be fairly okay - not the best, but okay.
Had breakfast smashed avo, with poached eggs and seeds with a side of bacon which was really yummy. Service staff very friendly and attentive.
Food orders need to come out together but other then that always fresh and lovely tasting, pleasant staff
HI
My friend and I love shopping at Joondalup even though we live south of the river.
We love coco Cubans with all the lovely pictures on the wall, the brown leather seats and comfy atmosphere. Food very reasonably priced and when paying bill seniors discount applied without us asking. The service is great, the food yummy, the staff friendly. Thoroughly recommend it. Last visit on Monday7 June.
I loved this place a couple of years ago but my visit today was a bit disappointing, not sure if management has changed. The haloumi fries were delicious but I wouldn't order the nachos or guac and corn chips again, the nachos plate was tiny and it had cheese sauce instead of real melted cheese, and the 'guacamole' just tasted like avocado although I could see tomato pieces i couldn't taste lime coriander or even salt, but the corn chips were nice. I also enjoyed the sangria, but the menu also didn't seem to have a lot of Cuban dishes.
Prime location that is easily assessable, great decor but my food order was way below expectation, especially given the reputation that comes with an establishment like this. This probably was an unfortunate, isolated event and is not enough to put me off this restaurant.
Enjoyed a late lunch here with burrito, calamari, halloumi - all very delicious.
Gluten free and vegan options.will be back!
