Purchased a $600 bag while on holidays in Sydney and April. Catch fell off in September and in order to swap the bag I had to produce the original receipt - credit card statement was not good enough. So - I made the hour trip to Perth only to find that I would have to come back again when the Perth shop had retrieved the original receipt from QVC- Yet David Jones have a policy of "proof of Purchase" being adequate. Surely my statement showing the name of the Sydney shop was enough - but no.be careful when buying expensive designer Coach hand bag if you have to have a warranty claim!
