Claremont Puppies and Pets reviews
54We brought our Toy Spoodle from here and she is the sweetest pup, easy to train and has become a family member we dearly love. I do think the puppies in the shop deserve a bigger and better enclosure with bedding, toy’s, a larger water and food area and access to outside. Hopefully this is something the owner can look at providing for the puppies. On the day we brought our pup the owner and the lady at the front desk were very accommodating and it was a lovely experience picking out our new addition to our family?
No idea why this place is allowed to run. The poor puppies are living in terrible conditions.
I have visited Claremomt Puppies and Pets several times and bought my puppy from there.
The accommodation and play area for the puppies is impressive. Always clean and warm with plenty of space for the puppies to play or snuggle up together.
They are well fed with quality puppy food, with plenty to drink and individual attention from the staff.
Vic and Staff are very informative and helpful
I got my labrador puppy for here and i received very detailed instructions on what to do and what not to do. The owner Vic has a lot of knowledge on these beautiful dogs and he reassured me that if i have any questions or problems i can give him a call whenever. Karina was super helpful through the whole experience of bringing our beautiful boy home. If want to buy a dog from knowledgeable people who care about the dogs well-being then this is one of the places to go
I was very close to buying a puppy after help from the friendly and helpful staff that work here, but after interacting with the owner - Vik Gypsie Finkelstein - I realised something was amiss and my dodgy-o-meter starting going off. Thank god, after a bit of research it was easy to see how suss the owner and this place is. …the puppies are housed in cramped stuffy conditions and all look so miserable and in poor condition. Honestly seen far better housing at the dog pound. I ended up getting a puppy from a reputable registered breeder with the ANKC, not one of these designer mongrels sourced from a puppy mill and costing thousands.
Received great customer services and informative details from the staffs. We were given a chance to cuddle the puppies.
Not too sure what’s with the negative reviews but the puppies seem happy and staffs appeared to take good care of them one by one.
We bought Maggie - a Springer Doodle - 3 months ago from Vic at Claremont Puppies and Pets.
She is an absolute delight.
She has an amazing temperament, is energetic, playful and such a quick learner.
No health issues, a clean bill of health from the Vet and I can only unreservedly recommend Vic and the team and the quality of their pets!
Thank-you for the most amazing addition to our family - we love her to bits!
Brian & Maggie.
Purchased a poodle in August. Staff were friendly on the day. When we brought him home we found he was unwell. He was excreting blood. Rang the pet shop immediately and their response was that it was probably stress, a standard line they kept using.
We took him to our vet. Found he had a temperature and Giardia. Because we took him to our vet and not theirs the costs we incurred are not covered by them. The complimentary Pet Cover insurance they provide also does not cover this because it is a pre existing issue. They pointed out it is written in their paperwork.
The paperwork they provided also included a vet check by vets at Western Rivers Vet Group (11.8.22) and Claremont Vet Hospital (1 day before purchase) saying the pup was fit and healthy. This was obviously not the case. We had to have tests done to establish what was wrong and put the pup on antibiotics. One does not expect to pay $3000 for a pup with health issues. More reason to get an independent vet check.
How anyone can buy a puppy from this place and actually continue walking around believing there good people is beyond me, shame on anyone that supports this place they should be shut down, disgusting
This is a great store. Nice people, great service, obvious love and care for the pooches. Our Cappy is there now for a grooming.
Don’t know how these people can even call themselves human knowing where they source their puppies from and the suffering they put the animals through just for profit. Not to mention charging over $5000 for ‘designer’ dogs which are mixed breeds from a filthy puppy farm.
The staff are very kind and helpful they will help/answer any questions you have. A huge range of pet toys and supplies. The shop is very looked after and all of the animals that are at the shop, at grooming or for sale are treated with the best care.
One of the Best pet shops in Perth
This store knowingly sources their puppies from puppy mills where females are bred until they can't any more then left to die horrendous deaths. They also lie about where they source their puppies. They are directly supporting animal abuse and anyone who purchases a puppy from them is doing the same. Ethical breeders do not send their puppies to pet stores
This shop sources from puppy farms. If you want a puppy do your research and find a reputable breeder through dogs west. Not this irresponsible business owner
Thank you so much for all the help you gave me for my fur baby. He is such a healthy well looked after puppy. The most helpful staff, and the knowledge you have on each of your pets is amazing. If I could give you 20 stars I would, but can only do 5 here, but know you get 20 from me. Thank you
Highly unethical business. Supplies puppies from puppy farms. Look up strawberry the boxer on oscars law. I am determined to shut this business down
Best bet shop ever. Very knowledgeable staff and very friendly store. Excellent service.
Would highly recommend going here to Claremont Puppies and Pets
My parents went to purchase a dog there.told they didn't need to put a deposit down and they were 'first on the list' advised by the female staff member.no call received or communication on scheduled arrival date, and they assumed a delay during COVID
went into the store - the male employee was extremely rude and advised 'no name recorded, all puppies had been sold and he was extremely busy and didn't contact anyone until later and all puppies were sold'
puppies also extremely overpriced - breeders are selling them for $3500 not $6000+.
unreliable communication and extremely rude.would not recommend if considering purchasing an animal from them.
Please do not buy a puppy off Vic Finkelstein. He is a liar. The puppies he sells are from PUPPY FARMS. Please go to the web page OSCARS LAW and read Strawberry's story before purchasing anything from Claremont puppy and pets. Once again Vic Finkelstein the owner will lie and make up story's in order to close a sale.
The puppies where in terrible living conditions and it was obvious that they had come from a puppy farm. There was one tiny water bowl for three puppies and no toys, plus terrible bedding. There where no beds for the puppies to lay in, just what seemed to be some sort of rodent bedding. The service also wasn't great as when greeting workers there was no response and same for leaving. We where also glared at the whole time after being asked if we needed anything and said we where just looking.
I'm very dissapointed with this venue, don't buy from here unless u want to support puppie farming
