Clairault Streicker Estate

Beautiful location, friendly staff and great value for money. We booked the picnic on the grass and went in with low expectations for the food but it was amazing, mix of salads, cheese, crackers, a great salmon dish among other things. We arrived a little early and did a tasting of 6 wines which was $10 each but this fee is waived when you buy a bottle, which we did! We did the tasting with Glen who was such a great guy, really knowledgeable and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

I booked wine blending and a 3 course meal as a birthday present, it was a definite winner. I would definitely recommend the experience to all.

Tasty cuisine accompanied by a great wine at a lovely location with special friendly service. Another visit will be essential for us in the future.

One of the best experiences I’ve ever had……mind you I am a true wine person but without training…. I know what I like and what I don’t but this experience showed me what I COULD like…. It expanded my palate and my thoughts…. Thank you soooo much for the vibe. I also appreciate we has this experience in the winter so may more personable……still recommend

We come and stay for the weekend every year at the same time for our wedding anniversary and we always book lunch here. Food once again was amazing and the staff were the best.

I love relaxing lunches at Clairault Streicker. Never, ever disappointed by the quality and choice of food. The long lunch is always delicious and different. Service is always attentive and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

What can I say excellent Customer Service from the moment I rang to book the table to the time we left the restaurant.

When we arrived we were greeted immediately and taken to our wine tasting table, where we each could choose 6 different tastings in comfort, taking our time to sample and compare with no pressure.

When we finished the tasting, we were escorted to our table and decided to have the Long Lunch. Wish I had taken photos, but the food looked so good we just dived in. There was a lot of food envy on the table as we eyed up each others plates.

We also elected to go with the pairing wines which were all an excellent match. Only problem is we will have to keep going back so we can try all the dishes and pairings to ensure they are all as good.

What were the highlights of the afternoon. Everything. Fabulous staff, friendly warm and relaxing environment, great food and wines, wonderful service, genuinely friendly, happy and helpful nothing was too much.and to top it all no pressure, just sit back relax and enjoy!

We will be back. Already planning our next visit.

Glorious setting with incredible wine and food, and friendly staff! Claudia was a delight and full of knowledge during tasting. Matt the chef is a very humble talent who served up the best seafood dish we have had in a very long time as well as a clever delectable chicken main. Very reasonable 3 courses for $65pp given the quality of the food, or you can order a la carte. Highly recommend both the Clairault and Streiker wines, with a special mention for the blanc de blanc! There are also homemade sourdough loaves baked fresh daily for sale top notch experience. Thanks team (and good luck with your travels Claudia!) we will certainly visit again when back in the region ️

Beautiful ambience. Amazing food. Professional, yet personal, demeanour of our waitperson - Claudia. Her manner, and service, made our experience really lovely.

Wine was quite nice but wouldn’t necessarily recommend for tasting - veryyy small tasters for a $10 fee (compared to other wineries in the region).

Friendly service and good food. Have been coming here for years. Nothing to fault except limited menu options - only 4 choices for mains. A great experience in nice surroundings.

We’ve been visiting Clairault for years now and had one of the best meals we’ve ever had yesterday. Absolutely to die for main meals & cheese platter and of course delicious wine. It’s the most stunning setting and an added bonus we could bring our dog to sit with us on the deck. Highly recommend!

Such a beautiful winery with welcoming, friendly staff. We did the long lunch which was $65 p.p for an entrée, main & desert. Overall the food was okay, but the portion sizes for mains were small. I would go back for wine tasting, but not rush back for food.

Went for lunch today and it was lovely. We just happened upon the winery at about 230. Lovely atmosphere, beautiful grounds and a very friendly welcome the minute we walked in. The ambience was perfect, great music playing in the background and couldn’t fault the service. I had the pork belly with Japanese style risotto. It was divine, absolutely perfect. I had to stop myself from licking the plate! My husband had the lamb and he thoroughly enjoyed it too. Love it when you have an unplanned but amazing dining experience.

We had family visiting from overseas and were looking for an interesting venue with quality food that would also be "puppy friendly" (we also have 2 four month old pups). Looking at the website for Clairault Streicker, we felt the menu options plus the ability to book a courtyard table where we could settle our pups were perfect for our needs.
The winery is located in amongst native bushland off Caves Rd and is a a stunning venue. The food was exceptional, and the wait staff were knowledgeable, efficient and very personable.
This was our first visit to Clairault Streicker as Margs locals and we'll definitely be back!

Came for lunch - delicious food! And very good service. Out of our 4 days in the region, my favourite dish was here - their fig tart with goats cheese icecream. So good.

Very nice relaxed atmosphere with a lovely outlook. Small menu but good food. Good place for a long lunch. The Rose was lovely
