Citiplace Community Centre reviews
34 I have been using this centre since 2009 originally for the lovely and affordable meals and to browse the books on sale for $1
Since the beginning of September I am participating in some of the classes on offer.
I absolutely love going there I find everyone very helpful and friendly.
Each month a calender is put out so you can see what's available and it's a great and fun resource. I actually look forwards to my exercise classes!
This is from someone who preferred to drink 3 coffees in the morning to get their heart rate up
The exercise classes are $5.50 for an hour and we have a lovely instructor who is both very professional and fun.
There's also an op shop there and the staff are just lovely. I enjoy popping in after my exercise class.
Citiplace offers many things I know there's rooms available for hire and clubs that met there.
Being right next to Perth train Station makes it very accessible.
Why don't you pop in and take a look?
I visit about once a fortnight for an economical lunch as I like the traditional meals like my mother made that are served. There's a choice of two meals and deserts. Great place for seniors. There are second hand books offered really cheaply and hand made crafts as well.
Friendly & helpful staff, reasonably cheap, roomy, lots of other things to see e.g. Crafts, books etc & sometimes a bit of entertainment. Easy to access esp if travelling by train.
Always go there when I go into the city or hospital, good meals at a great price for seniors and disabled, always fresh
Had lunch, last Friday, great, the ladies were fabulous, the small servings, were more than enough, thank you to all the staff
Very cosy position, wonderful staff always ready to assist, marvellous food at a very reasonably price. I haven't the need for other activities like podiatry, etc, but I expect they are as friendly and efficient as all at Citiplace Community Centre.
The staff and volunteers at Citiplace are always incredibly lovely, patient and helpful. They look after their clientele so well and are welcoming to everyone, including The Big issue vendors who can buy their magazines from the front desk.
Amazing place, with super friendly staff. Yummy and affordable food and great services. Bonny is an absolute gem and so are the other lovely Superstars working the front counter, especially Maureen. They're great supporters of the Big Issue Vendors too, which I love. Keep up the good work!
I enjoy the lovely food and enjoy listening to
the pianist. It so homely and it so lovely to see
all the different people enjoying their meals.
A big thank you to all the staff who work in dining room and the kitchen, you are all doing
a wonderful job. So hugs to you and everyone
who volunteers a big thanks
Great space & super busy today due to Tokyo Market exhibition by Tokyo Alley. Amazing range of upcoming talented artists. Super easy to access
Lovely food great atmosphere pianist playing great place to come to thanks all the best to all concerned thanks
Passed by this place many times and didn’t realise it serves food until a friend suggested to meet for lunch! It is only for those over 55’s and people with disability…. Friendly staff and reasonable price. Main meal menu changes daily… it is nice to see a place in the city meeting the needs of many!
I love this place. Great food, friendly and helpful staff. Always spotless and very welcoming. A gem of a place.
As a mature IT student, I came across this little gem, racing past lunch on the run back to class; I go! Citi place provides a safe, clean, orderly and a warm, welcoming setting for seniors, disable, new and old—choices of delicious hot or cold food at @affordable prices. I love the atmosphere of chatter for meeting new (out of towners) regulars alike. Op shop for choices. Actives are plentiful, and lessons in IT is a good investment. Management and all the staff well connected to the public (No airs or snobs) ️providers of employment for all. Feeling young at heart, free and single. The Citi place is the place to be; let's mix and mingle!
Centrally located with very reasonable priced lunch and afternoon tea. Mainly older customers but welcoming for visiting out of towners.
A great facility for those who don't want to or can't afford to pay a lot of money for a social lunch
Excellent meals
Lovely toasties and wonderful drinks. Seating area a bit small, but it's great for tourists and commuters.
Have yet to try there food found some if the old buddies rude and intrusive with there questions boring music have crafts there but not my scene
I come here once a month with my old friend musician Jeff Caroll.
This is a good place to sit back, relax and slowly watching life running.
Imagine you have a fast pace, all about tough life, financial just out of the center door. But inside you found inner peace where elderly so sincerely, caring and listen to your story. Perhaps you might be lucky to learn the life lesson from real people who experienced it way before your age. 20,30,40,50 years.
Come and enjoy! You will love it and find your peace back.
Never knew this existed. If you are short on cash but need a good nutritious meal then this is the place to go.
