Cicerello's Mandurah reviews
73Best Fish and Chips and Seafood platter in Mandurah. If your looking for fresh seafood this is the place.
Can't complain about the fish l order 1/2 crayfish the sauce was lovely but l had about a dessertspoon of Cray that was scattered throughout the sauce, if l am paying for half a Cray, that's what l expected today receive. Not cut up little tiny pieces of Cray.
We both ended up ordering the same thing.usually mix it up to see who's is best but anyhow the premium fish and chips ($26 I think) was great value. Very fresh, not oily and the serving portions were great. My only downside was that we would have liked a water view with our outdoor dining.but thats just being picky because you can always go for a walk along the foreshore before, after or both.
Bonus, we are doing a furby summer holiday and we could take our dogs with us.
Fish and chips fried flour can be improved quite rough. Too oily. Fish meat is tasty and fresh.
Not hard to see why they regard themselves as Mandurah's #1.
Ordered Chips, Dim Sims & Potato Cakes (aka Potato Scallops).
Chips: Standard Golden Brown, but exceptional nonetheless, reminds me of McCain Brand, If one food reminds you of a similar type, you know its either good or bad, in my case it was good.
Dim Sims: A bit soft, but that's ok, better than the "heavy crunch" Dim Sims most shops prefer to serve, regrettable they don't serve them "Steamed".
Potato Cake/Scallops: A bit bland to my taste, better than the corner store in Armadale anyway, not as good as "Andy's Fish & Chips" or "Silvos" though.
Overall I'd say its worth a visit whilst you're down in Mandurah, there's also Tea/Coffee, Ice Cream & a Family Friendly Atmosphere. Just watch out for the 4h parking.
Don't know why I expected any better the 2nd trip round but still a disappointment with the food. Same as it was the first time last year. The staff are lovely though, but boy that food wasn't good.
Seems very dirty, especially on window seals with bugs all flying around everywhere. The food use to be so much better. Will avoid and look elsewhere in Mandurah.
Quick easy service very polite staff and manager was out on the floor constantly checking customers feedback and looking after tables all round good family area
Went for dinner last night whilst staying in Mandurah. We know Cicerello’s is well know for great food and atmosphere but ……
Last night was appalling
The place was full of moths and flying insects that were landing on the table and on the food.
The young girl that served us did not speak very good English and had very little customer service skills.
We will never return or recommend this restaurant.
Always good for fish n chips, seniors meals also ice creams, barista, cakes and a selection of beers.
Food was great had chilly muscles, staff friendly and helpful for this reason I have five stars
One of the best place to visit in WA for fresh sea food with delicious recipies. Please make sure to include it on you trip list for wonderful experience.
Simply amazing food! The seafood is incredibly fresh and always served in generous proportions. Although ordering fish and chips is the most popular, they have great seafood chowder and pasta as well. Lots of seating, great views, and great for family gatherings.
Loved it when the Samoan guy was there. After that, it's just meh. My husband and I no longer have the drive to go there and they don't put any salt on the fish.
Seafood plater, middle of the road! Probably will not have it again for some time.
Also thought it was somewhat overpriced!
Had a fish and chip special. Lovely location and we went just before lunchtime, so it wasn't busy. The meal was delivered quite quickly and I was able to take away some of the meal in a container.
Seafood chowder it was best soup I ever had that made with seafood and I did thanks chef in person but want say thanks again for great taste and service and 100% recommend if u not sure what to pick
Unfortunately very expensive, small servings, and possibly the worst I've ever tasted. Be prepared to pay $1.80 for sauce. My squid was swimming in oil and inedible for "lightly floured". Thankfully the staff were happy to refund at least part of the dish. Can't say I'd visit again, other then to look at the view.
Seafood platter for 2 was not as packed as we had hoped for. We got 2 and as much as it was delicious the volume was not really up there. Service was slow to clean up tables. We had to ask twice. It was a busy day though & food came out very quickly!
Food awesome quick but up and down stairs with meals a bit tricky. Apart from that and plastic utensils very enjoyable.
