Chutney Mary's Indian Restaurant reviews
48 We dropped in for a bite to eat and a beverage after a show at the Reagal, we had an entree each and were very impressed, very tasty and enough to satisfy, and will be back
Cheers
I have eaten here a few times and previously loved this restaurant. Unfortunately I ate here on Wednesday the 11th October and had horrendous food poisoning around 4 hours after eating here.
We came for lunch here and enjoyed the restaurant decor. Service was friendly and polite. We had chicken madras, allo gobi and brinjal bhaji which were all excellent and delicious. The naan was very good too. An excellent place for a delicious and authentic Indian meal.
Best curry you can get if you're vegan! I love the garlic naan bread they give to you. Fresh, and hot, tasty from the oven. They have delicious vegan options and those options can leave you feeling full
Four of us had an impromptu meal on a Monday night. We hadn’t been to this restaurant for years, but happened to be walking past. It proved to be a great decision! We couldn’t fault the food and the service was excellent! Will definitely return with other family members.
Went here for a dine in dinner. The service was great, the food however was average. The entrees were a bit average, naan breads were ok, the garlic one was far too much garlic. We had the prawn lababadar curry which tasted quite good but I think it gave me a good dose of food poisoning……. If I didn’t get Delhi belly, I still don’t think I’d try again unfortunately.
Friendly and efficient staff, consistently delicious food, excellent value for money and background music soft enough to talk.
Thank you!
Worst paneer butter masala I’ve had! I was just a tomato base with paneer in it and they are fooling the Aussies with it! This is not how authentic Indian food tastes, pls don be fooled by the location and ambience!
Food was good. We had butter chicken and lamb rogan josh and they were delicious. Staff gracious, attentive and service with a smile. Nice!
Exceptional taste and flavour! Explosion of spices aroma!
Been to many Indian restaurants but this one definitely stands out with their food.
The atmosphere and ambience were also lovely. Not too many people, not too loud music.
The service was very nice but it took ages (and namely 45 minutes) for our order to arrive. There were only 2 tables occupied so we wonder why it took so long.
The parking may become a problem as the number of slots is very limited.
Otherwise it's been a great experience.
The service was amazing! Food was divine! And all of that at a reasonable price. Thanks for the lovely service Vish!
Very greasy food, couldn't finish my meal. Garlic naan was so greasy it was slobby.
Definitely not worth what you're paying for this food which tastes more like a fast food place with bad rating. I saw an award on the wall from 2020, maybe they've changed the chef since then? Otherwise I don't understand the reviews.
The food was absolutely delicious. We had the mixed meat share plate, butter chicken, rice and naan. Best Indian I’ve had in a long time
It's a nice place with authentic Indian food. Loved the variety on the menu. The staff were accommodating of us without a reservation. The only reason for 4 stars is we were constantly asked to order in frequent intervals. I do plan to visit again as my overall experience was pleasant.
Very nice samoosas and goat curry. The cheese naan was lovely and full of soft cheese, one of the best around.
One of the best Indian food I had in Perth. 5 star is also not enough for you guys This place deserves more than that. Best place in Perth to go dinner with your loved ones. Best food, Best Hospitality with cheap price.
One of de best food I have ever tried yet
My wife has been here a couple of times and really liked it. We got take away last night. The butter chicken was pretty standard, not outstanding, the vegetarian dishes were good, particularly the Bombay potatoes. The garlic naan was tasty but very dense, not light which is how I like it. Overall, it was ok.
Booked a table online, got there and it was closed to the Public! Owners on holiday and forgot to update website
Was here for first time, service was good.
Ordered Samosa chat was great! Haven’t had nice tasty samosa chat for ages.
Location and ambiance adds a star
Found a very sharp bone in my curry, nearly cut all my mouth open.
Vindaloo was atrocious, not spicy AT ALL. Extremely salty, wanted to vomit.
Threw the rest in the trash where it belongs.
Such a shame.
