36We are a family of 3 from Albany. What a joy dinner was tonight from this venue. Great service from the young man behind the counter. We ordered family pack for 3 and it would feed 5 easily. Snapper was delicious. Chips spot on. Lovely crab sticks. Highly recommended Merry Christmas to the staff and wishing them well.

We thought we would give them another go as they are conveniently located. Fish had thick uncooked batter under cooked batter. Dim sims were not cooked. Batter was soft and inside was not hot. Chips needed longer too. Shame but we won't be back this time.

Forgot to cook our order we mentioned we were waiting. Then get home and our dim sims were not supplied. Potato cakes are just sliced Potato not big.
Rubbish!
whiting was cold.ordered haggis, never arrived.curry sauce was terrible. I know its a new place.but get it right! Wont order again.better places around $33 for rubbish.
Never disappointed with the food or customer service by far the best fish n chips we have had in Australia
The first thing I will say is how AMAZING the fish and chips were.not only to begin with, there was a perfect amount of batter, not too oily and not too rough, and the taste was phenomenal, far better than any other chippy in Perth. Then the chips, the cripsy, succulent chips, which crumbled in my mouth as I savoured every last morsel of deliciousness. The staff were extremely kind, and had very exceptional service when they handed in my order. There was a perfect amount of chips for what I ordered, perhaps more. I definitely recommend this chippy, and would go back a million times
Tonight the order we received went straight in the bin. The Calamari was so tough, the fish had way too much batter and was extremely oily. We rung on the staff didn't seem to care, just had an excuse why but this happened last time when the fish tasted funny and nothing changes.
HIGHLY recommended! Most fresh food I have ever had from a fish n chips! Extremely yummy and excellent services with an absolutely friendly personality!
Have purchased dinner here a few times in the past year and every time has been great, the team is always friendly and greet you with a smile no matter how busy and the food is exactly what you would expect when you have fish and chips. I could rant about the bad reviewer's and their unreasonable expectations however I'll just leave this comment and hope you give them a try at Chippies.
Me and my family have been going there for years, foods always fresh and taste delicious but sometimes the dim sims have been over cooked but the good times always over weigh the bad.when i turn 14 I've always been looking for a job there as the owner is kind and i feel like he would be welcoming and great person to work with.:)
Don't normally take the time to leave a review but will make an exception with this.
Given a few chances recently and each time we have been robbed. Portion size is pathetic and the family has had crook guts once in the past. Don't waste your time or money here.
The meal was fresh, scallops and fish melt in the mouth, quick and friendly service, try this place, absolutely worth the while.
Always get the best service and best food at Chippies Galore. Even after we moved out of the area we still drive there for the excellent serves!

5 Years of going here and never been so terribly served. Manager hung up on me twice because he didn't like the fact I was unhappy with the amount of food provided. Honestly never been so disappointed. Wouldn't even listen to my complaint literally hung up the moment I started to complain
If you like wait times double what you're told, a complete disregard for food allergies, tiny portions for a hefty price and getting eye rolled by staff then this is the place for you! This place used to be amazing but in the last 6 months has gone down hill fast. Would not recommend and wont be going back again.
With out doubt the worst fish and chips i have evr eaten and when i went back to let him know i was not happy all he could do was blame his supplier he was so rude. Overcharging for well below average amount and very poor quality. Do yourself a favour and drive the extra distance to ROCKS in quinns village best fish and chips around the area
Myself and girlfriend have been to this f&c place a few times now. My last experience the customer service was shocking! The two young girls are always great but the owner to myself was terrible. Last visit I was advised by the owner the minimum of chips had gone up in price which is not a problem. So I ordered to find that I literally had 20 chips so this is an actual fact of half the size of what we would normally get, but we where paying more. When I questioned the owner because I thought there must have been a mistake he rudely talked to me like I was nothing, when I said to him I will not be coming back he yelled out to me “that is no loss for me” so I left there feeling annoyed and ripped off! Myself and my family will not be returning, avoid this place as there is no respect for the customer!
I've been around to nearly all the chip shops in the 'Joondalup area' - this maybe a small shop and not so close to me but I choose this place over all the others (well worth the extra drive) been several times now and have never been disappointed (unlike the others nearer to me) friendly service, great full sized non greasy chips, tasty flavours - not just oily taste, great curry sauce and good portion sizes for the fish, quick cook times, I don't normally write reviews but these guys deserve my vote.
